There's other videos like this but YOURS caught my attention today! After playing pickleball off and on for 6 years, I now know I need to wake up early to improve my skills even more so I can pass it down to the next generation, in hopes of one of the students make it in the Olympics. Currently about 60 countries are playing pickleball; the Olympic committee requires at least 75 countries to consider. Thank you!!!
Thank you for your kind words and gesture. Pickleball is something I wasn't very familiar with, but I truly admire your passion and love for the sport. I sincerely hope you can share your gift with a wider audience and inspire the younger generation ❤️🔥 Cheers to harnessing the power of early mornings!
Summary for me : 1. Have a clear reason. 2. Have a full preparation one night before. 3. Focus on Benefits with visualization. 4. Don't cut down the sleeping hours going to bed is equally important. I really wanted to do this to boost my self esteem.

According to Sanathana Dharma, 4:30 AM is called the Bramha muhurtham that's when the gods are awake and it's said that when a person wakes up at that time and spends time on anything he wants to achieve he will achieve that.
Thank you for sharing that! I didn’t know 4:30 AM had a specific name. Early mornings are definitely something to treasure - they’re a magical time that our ancestors also knew and appreciated 🙏
He meant gods bro.. Hinduism has a lot of gods.. He just mentioned what it says in Hinduism and the belief around “Brahma Muhurtam” (specific early hours of the morning). Let’s please not make this thread a fight on Gods and religions.
Well said! As a mom of young kids, I’ve been waking up early as a form of self-care. It definitely helps me establish a sense of purpose, control, and peace of mind 😌
Yes, I see alot of older people getting up early, sweeping the yard, walking, jogging, stretching before the day begins. And I think this is a way of cancelling the mind before it gets a hold of you and messes up your day
Seems to work the other way around for me, im most restless, depressed an anxious when I wake up early. Kind of makes sense since usually ill be on less sleep plus the naturall stress hormones are higher the earlier you wake up. They usually peak around 3am and go down from there.
I LOVE waking up early. I go to bed around 10 and get up around 6. No phone until 9am. Have a cup of warm lemon water, sit outside in the sunrise and then do yoga before having breakfast. It’s a great way to start my day!
@@peacelovejoyandhappiness I personally drink my coffee (decaf) or morning matcha AFTER my warm lemon water. I like to have the water first thing before ingesting anything else😊
@@laurenmcolletti one more question please, do you consume any processed foods or sugars by chance? I feel that these options are the largest culprit to the human diet. Not too mention the bad fats too. Thoughts?
As a Muslim, our religion has recommended that we wake up early before sunrise to perform the first prayer, which is the fajr prayer, and thank God for the blessings and gratitude. Our Prophet Muhammad also said, (meaning) that waking up early will be blessed and there will be enough time for everything.
Oh yes, early mornings offer a wonderful opportunity for personal reflection and rejuvenation, especially after a restful night's sleep. I typically wake up around 4:00 AM to enjoy some quiet time before work. My morning routine includes activities that help me start the day on a positive note, such as devotion, exercise, and preparing my meals. I also appreciate the cool, refreshing mornings in Jamaica, especially now that the days or so, so hot 🥵, up to 34° C. Thanks to God that I work in an air conditioned environment. As the old Jamaican saying goes, "Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise." There's certainly a lot of truth in that.
Agree. But when in the summer the crazies move the clock one hour behind and the last prayer is at midnight at the first at 4. People need to demand that they stop w summertime. Very unhealthy.
Thank you for encouragement, I actually wake up naturally 4:30am but thought just something wrong , went back to sleep to get up at 5:45am and I am more tired. Thank you I will just get up now at 4:30pm to do my time with Bible and fun things that I want to focus on :)
Aww, I’m so happy the messages in my video resonated with you! The difference between waking up at 4:30 am and 5:30 am was a mystery to me too, until I learned more about the body clock! ☺️
Amazing. I have been sleeping 9:30 to 5 for years (I am 58) and have thought something was wrong with me and wanted to sleep in a bit longer, especially at the weekend. But, I use my early morning to meditate and go out cycling in the summer (static bike in winter) and have lost weight and improved my fitness. I guess my body clock has adjusted as I am always up by 5 without fail and never set an alarm. I will start to see this as a gift rather than a curse from now on. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your story! It's interesting how we sometimes have preconceptions that hinder us from fully appreciating our own gifts and uniqueness. I’m so glad my video offered a gentle nudge toward embracing the freedom to view your body clock in a new light! 💖
I dont think you realise how helpful this video is for me... I'm struggling to achieve my goals and no one around me gets it.. In ancient Indian texts based on our ancient medicinal practices ayurvedas etc (idk exact term for it), this time of 4.30 is called as Brahmha Muhrat. It is the best time to start anything, especially a day. The most effective period. Lovely video, very informative. Thank you!
I love your content . Since I watched your vlog last week I was encouraged to wake up at 4:30 am. Today is my 10th day🎉. Been struggling at the 1st week but I thank the Lord he is giving me the will power to do it. You are right when u said you should have reason or your big why for waking up at 4:30 am. Hope you make more content of self improvement. God bless u more ❤
Wow! I’m so glad you found value in the tips I shared ☺️. Comments and blessings like yours truly lift my spirit. I pray that you continue to find peace and strength in your morning journey 🌞💖
Thank you so much for sharing this video. All other videos of waking up at 4:30am were done by people who don’t have children yet.. your video was so helpful and relatable to me as I am also a mother.. waking up early would mean so much to me, to get a moment of peace and quiet, to achieve my personal goals in life.. I can never sit and do my personal works with a peaceful mindset with my little toddlers wreaking havoc at home throughout the day. 😄
As a fellow mom of young kids, I completely understand! Waking up early in the morning became a form of self-care for me. When the kids are very young and not sleeping through the night, waking up early might not be possible. But as they grow older and establish regular routines, like going to preschool, I felt it was the right time to reclaim my identity-not just as a mother, but as myself. I'm rooting for you, your family, and your goals! 🙏
Likewise. When I started to intentionally wake up early for me to take a walk/jog, it gave me a sense of freedom and boost of energy. I am a first time mom, and my toddler is really at the stage of being "clingy," and setting aside time for myself is really important. I am both a mom and an architect, and both are really time consuming. 😅😅😅
@@amihandecastro9139 It sounds like, even as a first-time mom, you're doing an amazing job taking care of yourself and your family! Way to go, fellow mama! 💪 P.S. I worked at an architectural company for a while, so I understand how meticulous your job can be!
Fellow mom here, totally agree! My personal work goals have totally been hampered with lack of time and I keep trying to wake up early but these little guys need me in the night too 😫 hoping to get this early morning thing going
I got up today at 5 am. I was so tired and said I won’t do that again I thought it just wasn’t for me but then your video popped up. You have inspired me to give another shot. Thank you I will follow some of your tips.
I want back to school and work with math. I have 4 small children 9 , 8 ,5 ,2 yrs . Its so hard to me toget up early but its so easy for me to stay late night. So I am so happy to see u here.
Wow! Four kids! You have my utmost respect-I feel like my hands are full with just two! What a blessing it is! I resonate with what you’ve shared, especially as a busy mom of young kids. I'm rooting for you on your morning journey 🌞
truthfully, eating properly and leading an organized life, helps one feel energized early in the morning. Asians generally eat much better than the rest of us, and that is a huge advantage. Be the Change in your own world everyone! Thank you for this video!
I am a miracle morning member... After reading the miracle morning book, it revolutionalized my life. In fact, I opened my UA-cam channel after that encounter... Your WHY is all it takes
Where you were in 2020 is where I’ve been the last couple of years. I don’t have a family, but I hate what I’m doing and reaching deadends looking for something new. Two things I’ve been pursuing slowly is learning Korean (I saw your parallel Bible) and writing. Watching your video made me wonder if God wants me to use this time to build more disciplines in my life. I’m exhausted and watching Netflix at night too. I want to do more for Him and spending morning hours learning new things might be the ticket. I already enjoy reading His Word and praying first thing but otherwise mornings are a stress of getting ready and rushing to the office (where I dread going). Thank you for your encouragement. I need to do something different to have a different outcome than I have now. 감사합니다^^
First of all, I wish to send you a virtual hug. Thank you for opening up and sharing your story so honestly. I admire your passion for God’s Word, and I believe He has incredible plans in store for you. Amen! You are made for so much more, and I pray that through quiet mornings, you’ll feel more in tune with your calling. I know it’s easier said than done, but please don’t give up! 축복합니다! 🙏
I'm totally with you! When I didn’t wake up early, I felt like I was always rushing and caught in the repetitive cycle of daily responsibilities😞 I’m rooting for your mornings!
That is such a sweet comment-thank you for your kind words! I’m so glad you found the video helpful for setting up your mornings in a more powerful way 🌞💖
Excellent idea about moving to a different room. Writing everything down with some detail on my calendar the night before. And preparing my Bible,Devotionals, Journals, and crafting supplies too. Yes! I know I can do it! I mean I will try my best!! Thank you!!! You’re AWESOME!!!💯🙏🏻😊⛱️
Thank you for this video! I've been waking up at 430am daily too to do household chores & have personal time before heading out to work. This video reinforces the reasons why I love waking up early! Subbed! 😊
thank you, your video help me a lot!,seriously... i am a languages learner that learn 3 languages (english, spanish and arabic) but lately i feel so busy,i usually wake up at 6.00 am tbh,my work start at 6.30 until 3.30 pm everyday and i dont have any time for my self at the morning, this video remains me of that❤
I’m so glad you found value in the tips I’ve shared. I hope my video can serve as a gentle nudge towards your personal goals and help refresh your morning routine 🌞
Thank you for this practical video. I think finding a compelling reason is the key. If we are not motivated enough, we won't do the rest like sleep early. That plus harnessing our desperation 😆
As someone who's trying to establish a better morning routine and waking up at 5am 0:37 this is exactly how it feels! 1. Reason I think my reason would be to have time for myself before the day begins where i can do things while the rest of my family are sleeping. I journal, work out, meditate and learn Korean in that time. Other time in the day would be busy or distracting for all that since i dont have a space of my own. 5:14 this is so on point! When i was trying to wake up early before, since I didn't have a clear schedule of things I wanted to do, the next morning I would snooze my alarm because I didn't remember anything important that would take me out of a comfortable bed 😂 I LOVED your video. Every single point aligns with what I've learned these past 2 months where I've been trying to regain control of my life and grow as a person and a profesional. Thank you!
I’m so glad you found value in the tips I’ve shared. I admire your perseverance in analyzing the problem without giving up. I hope my video offered potential solutions and tips to help you achieve your morning goals. You can definitely do it! I'm rooting for you on your morning journey 🌞
I was happier waking up at 4:30am, cause' is so quiet and perfect for listen music, while i'm drawing, drinking some cofee or tea, and watching the first sun rays are very energetic.
Congratulations. It is probably the most fundamentally necessary and beautiful habit for very productive And peaceful days. Make sure you maintain. Atleast until your 60.
Can you please make more videos on how to combine work and family, how you structures your day and stay strong and healthy? When I get up at 5 I am soooo tired after 10 and my mood starts to paint everything black eventhough I love the morning peace itself ❤ apreciate a lot that you share ❤
Thank you for your honest comment! I can definitely relate-staying energetic throughout the whole day after waking up early is certainly a different challenge. I’ll be sure to consider the topic of maintaining a healthy, sustainable balance between work, life, and family for future content. Please stay tuned! 🌿
Me as a Muslim and other Muslims too might wake at 3am to pray the first prayer of the day Salat-ul-Fajr as our beloved Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him )taught us Such an amazing religion ❤
Same with Hinduism, "Brahma Muhurta is from 4 am to 5:30 am and is considered to be an auspicious time of the day. It is believed that getting up early and doing your work within this time frame will pave the way for success.". Especially South Indian(not affected much by religious invasions) Hindu wedding, and all festivals, happen at the early mornings. Our last prayer is at 6PM, after which we do a short prayer before we go to bed. My parents were religious we followed all this, early dinner, early to bed were all mocked by others - who were also Hindus, but now the same concepts are trending XD
There is so much wisdom and profound thoughts in this vlog. Not having a compelling reason is exactly the reason I don't want to get up. As soon as you said it I knew that is what I have to work on. I do read scripture for 30 mins but tend to use the Bible app, put on play and then often drop off to sleep. Thank you for this vlog. I will be watching a few times more and developed that compelling reason.
Oh, thank you for your kind words! I’m so glad you found value in my video. May you rediscover the power of early mornings to find balance and peace in God’s grace. 🙏
Great info. Thank you for sharing. I have been getting up around 4:30am for a year or so now, though I am not always consistent. A few things that have helped me be more consistent recently are: Setting a nightly alarm for about 30 minutes before I plan to be in bed. That way I can prepare and be down with enough time to wind down for sleep. Planning to be in bed with more than enough time to meet my sleep goal. It typically takes anywhere from 20-45 minutes to fall asleep. So, if I am aiming for 8 hours of sleep, I plan to be in bed for 8.5-9 hours. For the longest time I would aim for 8 hours of sleep, but would only allot 8 hours in bed. I would only get about 6 to 7 hours of sleep. Being consistent in my bed and wake up times even on the weekends. I find it harder to wake up early when I am not consistent, especially when I would prefer sleeping in. This is the biggest struggle for me.
Thank you for sharing your genuine story and kind words. I resonate with what you’ve shared. Planning downtime and maintaining a consistent bedtime are crucial for sustaining a healthy and balanced morning routine in the long run. I hope you found some helpful tips in the video to brighten your day and set a positive tone! 🌞💖
Thank you! I’m going to do this today. I have insomnia so I often don’t sleep til 5 am. It’s awful, but I’m going to get up, take out puppy for some fun and get some sun on my face. I liked the “prepare the night before” tip best. I have a long list of things I want to accomplish, but ironically, I’ve been a working (and teaching) calligrapher for 35 years. Cheers~
I’m so glad you found value in some of the tips I’ve shared! ☺️ I’ve really noticed that doing some 'mental preparation' the night before makes a huge difference in my productivity. And 35 years of teaching calligraphy?! That’s impressive!! ❤️🔥
We, muslim, we have to wake up at dawn (around 4 a.m here in Indonesia) to perform Subuh prayer everyday, masyaallah. 😊 Dawn time is actually a special time because it has many excellence in Islam. Thus, we, muslim, are encouraged to wake up early at dawn to pray Subuh, dzikr, and start the day with positive activities. ❤️

That's a great question. It made me think for a while to come up with a helpful answer. 🤔 I believe it’s not easy for anyone to have a 'compelling reason' to wake up right from the beginning, and it can change throughout our life journey. And that’s okay-in fact, it’s perfectly healthy. Finding 'that reason' can be understood as discovering what you love or even who you are. So, I think it's important to take time to reflect on yourself-what you love, what you don’t like, what makes you smile, and what you want to become. Try learning different things, follow your heart, and explore. Sometimes, your reason to wake up doesn’t come automatically, but in the process of learning and exploring, you might find something that gives you purpose. In fact, the process of finding your reason could be your reason to wake up. Consider journaling, reviewing and planning your life or even just your day. I’m not sure if this fully answers your question, but I believe that by asking such a genuine and thoughtful question, you're already on the path to finding your own reason for waking up in the morning. 👍⏰
Thank you so much Ma'am for answering my query. You have answered it perfectly. You have shown a direction. I have also tried to get up early before but failed repeatedly. I will Again give it a try.
One thing is for sure that you are so well spoken and your way of speaking is so politeful, thank you soooo much for such a wonderful and inspiring video 😊👏👏👌👌👍👍
Thank you very much for sharing your insights! 😊❤ God bless you for putting HIM before calligraphy. 🤗 I needed to hear this. It will make this venture to be a morning person much easier and worthwhile.
Thank you for sharing this video. I’m also mother of a child so what you mentioned in this video was very relatable. Recently I started to wake up early but not as early as you, I feel peaceful and finally having some time for myself other than just being for my family. Waking up early is a big game changer to my life.
This all absolutely matches with my own experiences. I'm a practicing muslim and we have fajr to pray just before sunrise, and after sun rises it is not recommended to sleep for 45 minutes, as this is the time of the day that you start your work and it is an extremely important period to get ahead as it has a lot of barakah. We also have hadith saying we shouldn't stay up too late after praying the isha, which is the evening/night prayer. All this combined, I've experienced a huge amount of peace and efficiency from my days where I go to bed early and wake up early. You also already wake up on your own after a while, at crazy hours like 4,5,6 AM, and you actually feel energized. The only exception to this is when my work schedule affects me, as I have very little time at evenings to actually do everything I need to do before going to bed early. This also showed me how work and economic state of a person can be a strong, very very hard to change cause for their unhealthy lifestyle, so while I'll absolutely stand by the point of waking up early, I also understand not all people will have the means to do so because you'll feel like a machine after a while and evening activities may also be a big temptation. Great video that touched on all the points I've personally experienced as well. 👍
Well said, and I truly appreciate you sharing what resonated with you and your own morning journey🌞 It’s so true that not everyone can afford waking up early every single day-it doesn’t have to be morning to find balance. For example, even for me, when my kids were younger and needed more care throughout the day and night, I couldn’t wake up early at the time. I believe that finding balance and contentment can be unique for each person. My hope is that by sharing my journey, others might discover and establish what works best for their own situation and style. Thank you again for your lovely comment!
Honestly, I've always struggled with waking up early. Every time I try, I end up failing, and I was just about to give up and switch to a night routine. But then I came across your video, and it gave me so much motivation. Thank you!
I’m so glad you found value in the tips I shared! I completely understand how it feels to struggle, hitting snooze day after day-I’ve been there too. But you’ve got this! I’m cheering you on as you embrace your morning journey 🌞
Yes! The lack of a reason to wake up earlier is exactly why it doesn't stick for me. I love waking up early for the airport or for an activity that other people are expecting me for. It's exciting and energizing that way - I'm trying to brainstorm ways that I can do that for myself everyday.
Brilliant! It's fascinating how our mind influences our body's reactions. Experimenting and finding ways to get our brain excited for our airport trips is definitely key! ❤️🔥
I have to get back doing "SAVERS" Scriptures reading, Affirmations, Vision board(goals), Exercise, Reading & Scriping(journaling). Which has brought me to Liz's channel😊 & hopefully get me back on track in last quarter of the year.
Thank you so much for your inspiring video. Emphasizing" the reason or purpose of waking up has to be strong enough to make you want to repeat to do it and repeat the routine" was the missing piece I needed. Thank you.🌺🌺
Oh, really? I saw that you shared your life lesson with us, and I was truly amazed. It’s impressive how you replied to almost every comment-such dedication is truly admirable!
This was an inspiring video. I used to wake up at 4am when I was in school, during our exams but it was a chore and I could never recreate that. Having a compelling reason to wake up, and the 'Pain of not making a significant change greater than the pain of waking early' resonated deeply for me. In India the time between 4 - 5am is considered auspicious where I grew up and we were told it was a special time and we can retain more of our studies if we wake up at that time. I am looking forward to being a morning person and I have already a list of things I am excited to do when I wake up early. Thank you for sharing your journey :)

I love that there is someone else who can wake up after 6.5 hours and says it’s ok! I’ve been shaming myself for not being able to get 8 hours of sleep for years! Yay, waking up early is a good thing!! It’s also easy when you’re going through perimenopause! 😅
I’m glad the messages in my video resonated with you. I’ve read that getting 7-9 hours of sleep is recommended, but for now, my schedule seems to work really well with 6.5-7 hours 🌞🌿 Thank you for your lovely comment!
I'm dealing with the perimenopause insomnia issue too. I've been awake since 1am and it's 3:30 am now. I would give anything to have some kind of a semblance of a healthy sleep schedule. I'm at a loss.
@@aquaseahorselove3939 I feel you so much. I’m trying all sorts of remedies right now even progesterone cream is not able to help me. I will circle back when I find one that works!! Wishing you peace during those awake hours in the middle of the night! You are not alone!!
I found out last week that I'm in full menopause at 45yo. I've found that I savor my sleep especially when I know my body needs it for proper recovery every night. About 9 years ago I was waking at 3am every morning and I would use that time to study, journal or work on my website at the time, sometimes until 7am. I've learned how to help ease my peri-menopausal symptoms since Jan this year. I made it a specific goal for me to learn how to regulate my hormonal imbalance through nutrition. I wouldn't say I've cracked the code yet, but I will say I feel so much more rested than I have felt the past 4 years. So maybe I'm on the right track...? Rest for me has been key. Improved nutrition with supplements over the past 6 months has reduced the frequency and intensity of my hot flashes. I take sage (this has worked great for my brain fog!) ginger, Manuka honey, berries, prebiotic foods like yogurt and oats, turmeric (in milk), ashwaganda, DIMM, fish oils, creatine, and recently started increasing my protein intake. Trying to increase my water intake. Reduce processed foods. etc... Strength training has also helped me tremendously but I always take 1-2 rest days after a day of working out (kickboxing and/or kettlebells). Hope you find the rhythm that works best for your body. Start off with a small change then another and another. Perimenopause is no joke!

I really love your video, Im moslem from Indonesia, many moslems are having hard time to wake up early to do morning prayer (shubuh), but actually that our obligation. And morning time is full of goodness (berkah) based on our religion. So, im moslem and i really want to be like you as a morning person. Thank you so much for the tips.
Praise the lord Sister. Thank you so much for wonderful and practical sharing of wake up early. I learnt and gathered much significant insights from your lovely sharing. God bless❤
@@nicoletavesa269 In the video, I shared that I try not to stay up past 10:00 pm. (Waking up early doesn’t mean sacrificing sleep-it's important for a healthy and sustainable life.) I also aim for a 30-minute power nap during the day. While 7-8 hours of sleep is recommended, personally, 6.5 hours has been working well for me so far ☺
Immediately after waking up is typically when I feel at my worst, physically, mentally and emotionally, so dragging myself out of bed is an ordeal. A few years ago, I did get into the habit of waking between 2-3 AM to have a couple quiet hours alone, but this was mostly fear-motivated. The early schedule was nice in some ways, but I found it stressful to keep up. After a few months, when the weather started getting colder and I started feeling a winter slump in energy and mood, I went back to my normal habits of staying up late to have the night hours to myself. I kind of want to get back to an earlier schedule, but finding a compelling enough reason to wake up is my biggest hurdle.
Thank you so much for sharing your morning journey. 🙏 You’ve highlighted many important and relatable topics, such as our common struggles with anxiety and the added challenge of waking up early during cold, dark winter months. I’d suggest making your morning routine something you can share with others. Some people post their morning routines on social media (simple photos with a timestamp), which can provide feedback and interaction that might be motivating in the beginning. I’m rooting for your mornings! 🙌
Thank you! I will try that starting today! I’ve always had a bad habit of postponing things I need to do and I keep feeling like I sleep too much (I go back to sleep after waking up). I hope I can use that time for prayer and scripture too ~
Hi. For some reason, this video popped up on my screen choices--perhaps because I've recently watched a number of videos about Japan and am thinking about, as an American, trying to learn the language. So, I don't know if some of your channel involves videos about those topics. Either way, I know I need to be IMMENSELY more productive, and so I thought I'd watch this video. I've watched a number on this subject over the past several years, and this was THE best one by far because of it clear, concise, yet comprehesive nature, and your wonderful explanations and examples...including a bit of the science behind it. I also like how you note that some people are natural nightowls and so it's not necessarily a one-size-fits-all approach. I also greatly appreciate your emotional struggles and the challenges that you have with coordinating with and giving adequate time to your husband and young children, while improving your calligraphy, starting your small business, and making your videos. You seem nice, logical, and "centered", and I'm happy for you that things are going well. I've subscribed and "thumbs up" this video, and I look forward to others that I'm sure will be equally well done, informative, and useful. (I'm a natural nightowl--from my earliest days--but I will likely give the early rise approach a try again soon while also figuring out a way to schedule my day a LOT better to try to accomplish all I'd like to do--some of it quite important--while also getting better self-discipline and not getting distracted by FUN, but not very beneficial things...especially considering my current situation and what my priorities should be right now. Thanks again!!
Thank you for this video. I'm an old woman and can say early rising makes all the difference in my attitude. Your calligraphy pens are unique if possible let me know where to buy them. Thank you Sunshine.
thank you! I like your saying that "you need compelling and specific goal for morning wake up". Tried this morning, getting up at 5:40am, buy the breakfast and work on my slides for 1 hour
I struggle to wake up at 7:30 am. I can't sleep early since my family won't let me; they're the type to blast the tv and music till 2 am and make me stay with them, so I can't sleep. Also, my father believes young people don't need more than 3 hours of sleep since he had to sleep almost nothing cuz he had to go to work (cuz of us). I hope when I'm finally free I will be able to sleep and wakeup early.
Am also have the same broblem I always go to bed 2:00 Am and wake up at 12: pm and that's really make me lazy all the day am struggling to wake up early.
Your message really touched my heart. I completely understand how there are factors beyond our control that can affect our ideal lifestyle. It might sound cliché, but I always remind myself that this too shall pass. If you continue to believe and wait for the right timing, things will eventually come together. My prayer is with you and your family. This quote always brings me encouragement, no matter the situation: 'God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.' 🙏
7am is already afternoon for my mom, I remember she will shout at us every weekend, HOYYY WAKE UP NOW IT'S ALREADY NOON! GOD SPREAD BLESSINGS ALREADY AND YOU ARE STILL IN BED!" 🤣 We always wake up at 4 or 5am in the morning because there's a heavy traffic in Manila to get to work or school, leaving your home at 6:30am you are late already 😊
Ahh, coming from an Asian background, I remember those early mornings waking up to beat the traffic. I can almost hear your mom’s voice waking up the kids! LOL. Blessings to your mom and your family! 🌞
Since young I always wake up around 4:30 or 5 am and now with 2 kids (toddlers) they always wakes up around 4:30 or 5 am , they sleep around 5:30 pm as well. Setting routine is really good :)
For those that don’t have a reason for getting up early, but you still want to get up early. You do have a reason. The fact that you want to get up early is reason enough to do so. You’ll finds things to do as time goes on.
Thank you so much for this excellent and motivational video. I've been waking up at 5 AM to ensure I can study Mandarin and theology, but I'll see if 4:30 or another time is better for my circadian rhythm.
As a girl from a brown Household, one thing that irritates me when I try to wake up early morning is that When I wakeup I can't have "Me time " for myself. Once I wake up elder people or parents starts to give me errands to do and I want to give up things I like to do in morning.
Your story really made me reflect on many aspects, and coming from an Asian culture where multi-generational living is common, I can relate! I hope you’re able to find a space where you can quietly enjoy your own time-one that protects your personal boundaries while being discreet. I’m cheering you on in your morning journey 🌞🙏
Woh what's that's texture
Summary for me : 1. Have a clear reason.
2. Have a full preparation one night before.
3. Focus on Benefits with visualization.
4. Don't cut down the sleeping hours going to bed is equally important.
I really wanted to do this to boost my self esteem.
Beautifully summarized! I hope you found some helpful tips in the video to discover the power of early mornings to find your balance and peace 🌞

Today is present.

It hit me when you said, "Sometimes, it's easier to make a hard decision when there are no other choices." Thank you for such an inspiring video.

Same thing here 😊

Today is the present
And that's all it actually matters
According to Sanathana Dharma, 4:30 AM is called the Bramha muhurtham that's when the gods are awake and it's said that when a person wakes up at that time and spends time on anything he wants to achieve he will achieve that.
Thank you for sharing that! I didn’t know 4:30 AM had a specific name. Early mornings are definitely something to treasure - they’re a magical time that our ancestors also knew and appreciated 🙏
Yes, this is beauty of sanathana dharma whenever I woke up at4:30 am or 3:00 am I thank prabhu for waking me early.
That what Islam says
You mean "god" and not "gods" right
He meant gods bro.. Hinduism has a lot of gods.. He just mentioned what it says in Hinduism and the belief around “Brahma Muhurtam” (specific early hours of the morning). Let’s please not make this thread a fight on Gods and religions.
I think it is really good for depression and anxiety , to get up early , it gives you a little sense of achievement ,
Well said! As a mom of young kids, I’ve been waking up early as a form of self-care. It definitely helps me establish a sense of purpose, control, and peace of mind 😌
Never thought of that before, thx.
Yes, I see alot of older people getting up early, sweeping the yard, walking, jogging, stretching before the day begins. And I think this is a way of cancelling the mind before it gets a hold of you and messes up your day
Add on the cold plunge and you will achieve nirvana
Seems to work the other way around for me, im most restless, depressed an anxious when I wake up early. Kind of makes sense since usually ill be on less sleep plus the naturall stress hormones are higher the earlier you wake up. They usually peak around 3am and go down from there.
I LOVE waking up early. I go to bed around 10 and get up around 6. No phone until 9am. Have a cup of warm lemon water, sit outside in the sunrise and then do yoga before having breakfast. It’s a great way to start my day!
Your comment painted a beautiful picture in my mind. Let’s continue to savor our precious morning times! 🌞💖🌿
Lauren, do you drink coffee later on after your hot water with lemon? 🍋
@@peacelovejoyandhappiness I personally drink my coffee (decaf) or morning matcha AFTER my warm lemon water. I like to have the water first thing before ingesting anything else😊
@@laurenmcolletti thank you for your help. I’m going to get into a similar routine. I want to cleanse my body first thing with the 💦 and 🍋.
البركة في البكور👍
I resonate with how waking up early can create such powerful and productive extra time in our limited 24 hours. Thank you for your lovely comment 🙏
In Spanish we have this quote: “Al que madruga, Dios le ayuda”, is básicamente the same principle, pues madrugar es levantarse antes del alba

In ancient Indian texts based on our ancient medicinal practices ayurvedas etc (idk exact term for it), this time of 4.30 is called as Brahmha Muhrat. It is the best time to start anything, especially a day. The most effective period.
Lovely video, very informative. Thank you!

축복합니다! 🙏

As someone who's trying to establish a better morning routine and waking up at 5am 0:37 this is exactly how it feels!
1. Reason
I think my reason would be to have time for myself before the day begins where i can do things while the rest of my family are sleeping. I journal, work out, meditate and learn Korean in that time. Other time in the day would be busy or distracting for all that since i dont have a space of my own.
5:14 this is so on point! When i was trying to wake up early before, since I didn't have a clear schedule of things I wanted to do, the next morning I would snooze my alarm because I didn't remember anything important that would take me out of a comfortable bed 😂
I LOVED your video. Every single point aligns with what I've learned these past 2 months where I've been trying to regain control of my life and grow as a person and a profesional. Thank you!

Great info. Thank you for sharing. I have been getting up around 4:30am for a year or so now, though I am not always consistent. A few things that have helped me be more consistent recently are:
Setting a nightly alarm for about 30 minutes before I plan to be in bed.

This video feels more genuine, than the average "self-improvement" video. Very refreshing! I also like that you read the Bible in the morning! 🙏
Very well explained... Ma'am, please tell me what should I do if I don't have any compelling reason to get up early and still want to get up early.
That's a great question. It made me think for a while to come up with a helpful answer. 🤔
I believe it’s not easy for anyone to have a 'compelling reason' to wake up right from the beginning, and it can change throughout our life journey.
D
you're reason is unrealized to your conscious. Your soul knows and it manifests as your want to get up early.
When I don't have reason, I woke up and see youtubes so that I keep engaged and do not sleep. It works

This is the problem I have, trying to think of a reason to get out of bed that makes me WANT to get out of bed 😕. I’m trying to find ideas…
I have to get back doing "SAVERS" Scriptures reading, Affirmations, Vision board(goals), Exercise, Reading & Scriping(journaling). Which has brought me to Liz's channel😊 & hopefully get me back on track in last quarter of the year.
@@brendaproulx3052 I really love the easy acronym S.A.V.E.R.S! 🥰 Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for your inspiring video. Emphasizing" the reason or purpose of waking up has to be strong enough to make you want to repeat to do it and repeat the routine" was the missing piece I needed. Thank you.🌺🌺
I’m so glad you found value in the tips I’ve shared. I'm rooting for you on your morning journey 🌞
Life hack -> Get old. You go to bed earlier and wake up at 4.30am naturally :)
lol good one! 😂
@@FlourishedHopewhat time she go bed then ?

I loved this video very much then.
What a beautiful message! My heart is full knowing that so many points in my video resonated with you. I'm thrilled to hear that you're 'excited' to explore your morning journey. I truly appreciate your kind words and wish you all the best on this path! 🌞
Thank you for mentioning reading the Bible. That changed my life completely and gave me so much peace!
This was one of the most helpful morning routine video I’ve watched! Love how down to earth and authentic you are and all of you tips resonated with me. I too found I have more energy and an easier time waking up at 4:30 am than 5 and keept trying to make myself sleep until 5 only to be really grumpy. Now I know why and can stop trying to stay in bed longer and just embrace it!
Thank you for your lovely comment! 💕 I completely understand-there was a time when I thought waking up at 5 a.m. instead of 4:30 a.m. would make me feel more rested. But I found that I often felt even more tired or couldn't wake up at all at 5 a.m. I wish you all the best for your beautiful mornings! 🌞
Thank you for your wisdom. God Is Using you for great things
Aww, your kind message really touched my heart and stopped me in my tracks today. I think my spirit needed to hear that. Thank you so much for your encouragement and kind words 🙏❤️🔥

I get up at 4.30am. It's great, some meditation, yoga, qigong... A great start to the day!
In Hinduism this time is called Brahma Muhurt..
And its very suitable for yog and pranayam practice
This is the best video for me, l tried so many ways to find a reason why l couldn’t commit in getting up early and you gave me the answer…l need to find the reason why l want to build this new routine ❤thank u so much ❤

thank you for making this video! Follow your instructions, before sleep,I prepared the materials for the coming morning task. And it just worked! After wake up around 5:30am, I walk outside, get exposed to the sun(from other UA-camr’s advice) and buy the breakfast for my family. Before leaving home at 8:30am, I have 2 more hours doing my own business. I also become more confident when I achieve the daily morning wake up goal. Thanks again for your sharing! The best useful wake up videos on the UA-cam❤

What time do you go to bed at night?
Some of us are night owls and it’s okay . Our circadian rhythms are different.
Also look into autism and ADHD
Thank you! I will try that starting today! I’ve always had a bad habit of postponing things I need to do and I keep feeling like I sleep too much (I go back to sleep after waking up). I hope I can use that time for prayer and scripture too ~
I’m so glad the video gave you some hope for making a change-you’ve got this! 💪 I'm rooting for you on your morning journey 🌞
As a Muslim it’s a must to wake up between 4 and 5:30 to pray Tahajjud and our first prayer called Fajr… Thank you
Alhudulillah ❤
12:40 marker is great! The pain of the needed change becomes greater than the pain of waking up early.❤
I m also wake up 4:00 am. it’s not matter holiday or working day. Without any alarms.
Wow! Even to this day, I still need a gentle nudge from the alarm to wake me up, but it's amazing how your body clock is right on time! ⏰
Great and clear additional information. I wll give it a try.
Thank you! 🌄

Same. It'll happen one day. Just keep planning and working towards it.
😢😢😢
Am also have the same broblem
I always go to bed 2:00 Am and wake up at 12: pm and that's really make me lazy all the day am struggling to wake up early.

I’m up everyday between 4-430 am. Love it.
😂 reminds me of my mum.

Great video. I am going to give this a try!
Thank you for your kind words! I am so glad you found the video helpful ☺️
Very true.
Great video! Very helpful. One thing I love about the mornings is the lack of interruptions from phone calls, people knocking on the door, etc.
I wake up at 4 am everyday. Because i going for work at 5 am 😂😂😂
Same here and probably i will make video about it...
Wake up at 2am? Go to bed @8 pm!
