Three Rare Wand Finds!

Michael presents three very rare and collectable wands today! The 2016 San Diego Comicon Newt Scamander wand, Mad-Eye Moody's Goblet of Fire wand in the Ollivander Box from Noble Collection, and an extremely rare find: the 2001 Sorcerer's Stone premiere wand!

If you don’t want the wooden wand to warp you might want to put a few silica gel packets in the box with the wand. They’ll absorb moisture that might get in the box rather than the wood absorbing it and warping.

Moody actually owned a couple of different wands at the Same time. The short one he used in the 4th movie, the 2nd in the 5th and the third one, that haven’t been available to buy, in the first part of the 7th, even if we don’t get to see him use them. In the books it’s explained to us that moody owns more wands and that he uses them to different things, like for example to repair his leg or teach magic. Sooo long story short: they’re meant to be different wands.

Remember also, that Moody's old wand would probably no longer answer to him because someone else won it from him, and plus it spent a year being corrupted by dark magic, so it would make sense that he wouldn't use that wand anymore. Though it would be nice if they continued to make that wand, sort of like Harry's wand, and the snatchers wand .

I was there at SDCC in Hall H when Eddie Redmayne gave us the wands and it was a "fantastic" surprise and one of my treasured wands because it was gifted by Newt 😉

I cant believe youve got the promotional wand its so cool and rare. Ive been trying to find Harry's original wand from philosopher's stone because i love the simplistic look of it but there aren't even that many pictures of it because i'm going to try and whittle one out of wood so hopefully it'll come out well

My favorite out of all these wands, is the Philosopher's Stone promotional wand at 7:30. And if you watch The Philosopher's Stone, that is the same shape and handle of the 2nd wand Harry tried and ended up shattering a vase. Except the colors are switched, in the movie the shaft was a brown and the handle was a lighter color. Still has the shape and design of the handle which I love. If I decide to make a wand like the 1 at the end, I would paint the shaft black and the handle mahogany brown and have it 13 inches in length. How would you design your wand? How long would it be? My theory (movie only) is that Mood's wand didn't change but as he was so paranoid with vigillance and his personal security he would have spare wands just in case he would be disarmed. Say, he's using his main wand and you disarm him, he's got a second wand, disarm him again he has a third wand, disarm him once more and he has his staff.
