I once was in a zombies round that went south real fast. Zombies took the entire station VERY quickly. Centcom sent an ERT squad, but with the instructions "Consider all contracts void" meaning that the crew are no longer considered crew. Basically, a command to wipe out everyone, including crew, due to the possibility of infection.
I had a round yesterday where most of the station was taken by zombies, but around 8-10 people managed to board the escape shuttle and get away. Waiting for them at CentComm was a CBURN unit of about 30 people and a commander who told them to wipe out every living thing aboard.
I'm reminded of that one time a solo ERT robusted an entire 5 man death squad that had a mech and saved three people by the end of the round in ss13 a couple years ago. That guy was something else man.

My only encounter with ERT was with revolutionaries. I had been converted, but didn't really want to participate then. An admin told me it was fine, just don't narc or ask for a mindshield. ERT came, got to bridge, and based at cargo. When evac came, they guarded the exterior of it, and I asked one of the members if I could come peacefully, and they just sat me in a chair and told me not to move.
