Love your reviews @ Music Bliss. Picked up my MojoMojo PG edition today and have played with it. I use a Katana MKII 50 and whilst I can switch channels using dual latching foot switch, have been building up my pedal board for use on clean channel. Can't beat the feeling of stomping on a real pedal. Also want the versatility and immediate access to change sounds as required. This pedal gives me the warmth and overdrive I need to take my amp to edge of break up and sound more tube like in the first instance. It can get dirtier and fuzz up but I intend on using it as a slightly driven overdrive and then stack other pedals into it for further overdrive and gain. I ran my Boss BD2 and SD1W into it and wow, sounded luscious and added the warmth and width I was looking for. These pedals into the MM are gorgeous. Stacking the SD into the BD into the MM is also wild. I was originally looking to get the Boss OD3 but couldn't find available at price point I was looking for. So the I bought the MM. And so glad I did. Oh yes, the 11 switch tightens everything up. Personally I prefer it down. Rock on fellow groovers.
Remember the times Paul himself had demoed Mojo mojo.. and original pedal WAS his overdrive. Now we gotta know it is not "HIS" anymore, and his one is that blueyee-purpler one, everybody needs to buy one more... Ah, this market..

Great video as always. I wonder how the PG Mojomojo compares to the TCE Dark Matter? As i always thought that the Dark Matter was similar to the Mojomojo, but with a bit more gain.
I had a Dark Matter with my Mojomojo. I got rid of the Dark Matter because it is basically a distortion pedal and not a stepped up overdrive like the Dark Matter. I found the Dark Matter to be a rather generic distortion pedal. I did pay top dollar for both when they were expensive, but only the Mojomojo remains. Not sure if the PG version makes a difference for me, but wondering if it had better clarity without adding fizz and buzzy. I like the raspy tone it has and more gain just makes it into a waspy sound. If the PG is clearer, then I might try it.
@@mrr3000gt i loved the Dark Matter for low gain, but it just didn't stack well (to my liking anyways) with any of my other drive pedals. I have since switched to a Boss Blues Driver and I'm much happier with that switch. Put a Boss SD-1 or a DS-1 as a boost in front of it and make it sing.

Cool review. You definitely convinced me to buy the PG edition. Thank you and greetings from France.
MojoMojo is definitely a go-to OD pedal. Sounds good on its own or paired with other ODs, fuzz. Nice.
Those commercial level pro quality product shots. That pedalboard almost looked CG.
Excelent , what this brand your caps ? Very clear denition chords !
Very nice playing:). I have a question. Would you rather tend to like the mojomojo paul gilbert or the EHX Hot Wax?
Just pure fire with that tone 🔥
You're awesome dude!!
I thought it was just a reskin but it actually is different enough to buy it seperately. Awesome
I think the regular one would be a better choice, because I often need to cut bass and get the tone tighter.
Cool review, great playing and beautiful guitar also! Respect from 🇬🇧
One of the more badass subcontinental dudes out there.
😎👌🏼
Thanks, great comparison! I really like the normal Spark Booster; akin to a JTM45 kind of sound, and these 2 Mojo Mojo's is kinda "Spark +" sounding.
Glad you like them!
I have the Spark, mojomojo, and an old VPD1. The spark and mojomojo sound really good together
Good morning from CA

Music Bliss 2021, more production, extra facial hair!
Don’t see mojomojo on PG’s pedalboard these days…
gilbert version was more natural n transparent..
the blue mojo is just a dark matter
Dark matter is better than mojo same function

...time for the sheep to get fleeced again.
Mojo mojo is to much bass
