Dino was a very nice man. I met him a couple of times and although he played the "drunky" bit, it was an act; sure he drank some, but he would often be the first to leave parties at night and go home to his family. Dino Paul Crocetti; June 7, 1917 - December 25, 1995, lived to age 78, which was pretty good for a 4-pack-a-day chain smoker, he really tried to quit and just couldn't. He died of emphysema and lung cancer so it killed him in the end. RIP, Dino, we miss you.
Dr.Sudhakar Powar Maybe, but most people seemed to agree that he was just so devastated by losing Dean Paul that he really didn’t want to go on. You can tell from videos of his last few years that the spark had gone from poor Deans eyes and he was just a shadow of his former happy-go-lucky self. Such a sad end for someone who had brought so much joy and laughter to so many people for so many years... RIP Dean to you and your Jeannie, and also to Dean Paul, Claudia and Ricci, who have all also now passed on.
He was my dad's favorite singer. After watching these videos about his life and music. Dean has become oneof my favorites too.
Dean Martin was an original. He made his performance look easy. I could listen to his music all day long. His voice will live on and on.
