Good job I speak Tigrinya which is the closest to Geez. I'm finding that Geez it's almost exactly to Aramaic writing also?

Sincere question: I'm currently trying to learn the ancient scrolls...should I learn both Hebrew and Ge'ez? Is it better to learn one over the other? *I've seen others promote the use of Ge'ez only and to do away completely with Hebrew.

Hebrew is the Language of Creation and it is today known as an Afro-Asiatic Shemitic Language! Geez, Arabic, Aramaic, Amharic, etc. these Shemitic languages comes from Hebrew! So if you do away with Hebrew these languages loses their core and foundation! Start with Hebrew then learn Geez! So when you learn Geez you can compare it to Hebrew! But use the Hebrew as foundation. Geez is like one of the sons and daughter of Hebrew they are family!

@@happybear1603 Yes for the record Hebrew is one language with different styles of script/characters! Some are saying ancient Hebrew has only “Ah” sounds that is not true. Because you have other ancient Shemitic languages that have more than the Ah sound! The same words and sounds of Hebrew in ancient times is the same today! For example Shalom which means peace is the same in regardless if you read it in ancient, paleo or modern script! It’s not in ancient Shalawam and modern shalom! It’s shalom regardless of script/character! Now one thing is ancient vocabulary and colloquial would be different vocabulary! So learn both sets of words, vocabulary ancient and modern! I hope this helps and edify! Shalom!

should I learn paleo-hebrew instead of the standard Biblical Hebrew? Paleo-hebrew--pronunciation built up through other afro-asiatic languages, it's not lashawan qadash--is a project by the paleohebrewdictionary organization. They have a website and UA-cam channel.
