Haha I did but it was that cold I was just waving the camera around and it looked rubbish ha . Il have to go back in next time I camp that spot ha. Thanks matey I appreciate that
Looked like a great weekends adventure James! Lovely to have the company and shared laughs I'm sure. You captured some great footage showing off the Mournes so well 👍😎 I'll take your word for it that you had that refreshing dip and I'm very glad the water didn't get stuck in your throat either! 😊
Cheers it was great camp. I took the gopro in with me but the footage was terrible. Think il put a clip in my next video haha. Thanks for watching miriam.
Great vid again mate , cracking locations and views you have , look forward to your next adventure mate , might even bump into you up the Cheviots when your over 😜, atb Deka 🏕🏔👍🏻🍻😎
A lovely video showcasing one of the best parts of Ireland. I've camped at the head of the Ben Crom reservoir too - could it be the wild pitch with the best view on this island? Do you still have the Pioneer2 tent? Are you not using it much nowadays? And the pitch atop Commendagh seems quite accommodating. I've not pitched there. How far down from that tower is the blue tap? Regards Wadirunner.
Cheers matey. Yea it was a brilliant spot. Yea I still have the pioneer but I used the 3ful for this trip because its lighter for putting the miles in. I will be using it more now with winter camps. The tap is not to far down its easy to see when you get closer to it with the water running down from it. Thanks for watching atb James
Great stuff, thanks for sharing your wild camping experience on the Mournes. Did some wild camping years back but never seen anything quite like yous guys have, must try hiking sometime 'since I'm I the know'. Goodluck with your travels and keep it coming, yous are truly an inspiration. God Bless!
Thanks matey I really appreciate that. Yea it's great up in the Mournes. Can't wait to get back out. You should check out my mates walking group. Really friendly and for all fitness levels. It's the ni walking photography group on Facebook
Great video James and class to see you showing your mate Chris what the Mournes have to offer. As for the swim, if we didn't see it did it really happen? 😁
Class adventure there James, you covered some miles. Never had those summit to eat meals before, must give them a try. It looked quite windy there on the first night, did the tent cope ok? Thanks for sharing again, ATB.
Cheers matey. Yea the picked up to around 35mph. The tent held up really well but wouldn't like to try it in stronger winds ha. The summit to eat meals are definitely nicer than the adventure food ones but a little bit more expensive. Thanks for watching mate atb
Hi mate I have just seen this message now . Sorry for the late reply. I don't have a recorded route but the the Mountains we did in order were Binnian than annalong valley to commedagh then down to hares gap to melmore lodge than walked to Ben crom shelter stone for last camp

Is it allowed to take a shower at the waterfall, given you can handle the cold of course?
You would be fine going in but I wouldn't use any soaps for the environment as it will run through the streams.
what fire log did you take? Always thought about carrying a bag of wood!
Just one of them cheap ones from the paper shop. Really good because they very little mess as it just turns to dust. Never took wood on a summit camp.
@@jamesoutandaboutn.i227 good idea
