Thanks for sharing guy's I lived on a hill farm next to the mountains of mourn I've been up there a few times it's tuff 😊all the best from me in Birmingham England 😊
Climbed it two days ago with my teenage daughters, and my dauschund under my arm, in the rain. EPIC! Meelmore to haresgap, along Brandy patch, right before the castles, passed the climb, scrambled down Satans buttress, traversed along to the devils coachroad climb, up, turn right, retrace the route. Great day out apart from the wet and the midgies.
You climbed devils coach road with your dauschund under your arm ? 😂 I’m watching videos wondering if I could do this climb or not and your carrying a dog up it 😅👏
I completed the Devils Coachroad yesterday with my brother...it might as well been Everest, I felt invincible lol. As usual great footage of a great climb.
Se Park Yeah I love the Mournes. Haha the thumbnail is a composite of two photos, didn’t like my facial expression in the original so photoshopped in from a different shot. 🤣
Just gave this another watch. Brilliant job Stephen. Great viewing with that 360. Still awaiting my first hike of the year and this really puts me in tolhe mood to get out. Great stuff.
Yep, done it before, however first time taking the group. If the weather is good I'll take my Mavic 2. Have you done Cove Cave yet? its fun too. Love that 360 camera you use with the invisible pole lol
Diana Muñoz Yeah. For the shots that obviously use the Insta360. A lot of other shots are with GoPro Hero7 Black. The Insta360 audio isn’t as good as GoPro and terrible in wind.

@@StephenJReid you have the 3mt selfie stick, right? So, in this video you are using 3 different cameras?
Does anyone have a route for this? Looks like they start at Meelmore Lodge then up Trassey track, but I'm lost after that. Outdoor Active trail would be great.
Brilliant video, at 5:40 you come across a water source is that good to drink straight away or does it need filtered, and how far along the walk is it.
Thanks! Yeah I would drink straight from that source. Have done a couple of times with no issues. Trouble is I can never quite remember how to find it. Pretty sure it’s on the left side of the wall as you come down Commedagh. Don’t think it’s too far from the top
Do you have a case for that insta 360x? With that massive pole (that's what she said 😂 😂) you could easily scratch the lense on those rocks......awesome video as always...I love how you integrate the 360
Yeah I've never had that happen. Make sure the app is up to date and you have enough free space on phone. If that doesn't work, probably contact support.
I was just about to buy this insta 360 one x but the reviews on amazon made me pump the brakes, is it really the head wreck the reviews say ,how about an editing process video maybe?
Mike MurphChops Hi Mike, I think experience varies on expectations. I find the edit process pretty easy but time consuming. At least for what I want to do with it. You have given me an idea though to make a video about how I post process the files. Might do that for next week!

Your channel is growing fast and its well deserved. Loving your personality, editing style, and content. Keep it up brother.
Goku Runner Thanks so much! Getting the edit on this finished while trying to keep on top of client work has been exhausting.

Fabulous, a nice scramble with a mighty view from the top 👏🏼
Thanks Craig!

Haha, it’s a fun one! So far this video is the only time I’ve been up it. Need to go back
Another great video, good fun guys 👍😃I love Mourne ❤️ stunning views 😍
Thanks!
Wow that’s a beautiful place! Love your thumbnail too!
Se Park Yeah I love the Mournes. Haha the thumbnail is a composite of two photos, didn’t like my facial expression in the original so photoshopped in from a different shot. 🤣
I liked this episode when you first posted it, still do, great sound tracks too you should make a channel play list even your intro is fun and catchy.
Thanks Gordy!
Great video as always Stephen!
Shadaab Kadri Thank you!
Just gave this another watch. Brilliant job Stephen. Great viewing with that 360. Still awaiting my first hike of the year and this really puts me in tolhe mood to get out. Great stuff.
Thanks Sam! Sure you could have come along if you were free. Glad to be making people want to get outside more!
That was amazing, didnt know Northern Ireland looked like this!
Thanks Martin! Yeah, we’ve got a wide variety in a small place. Mournes are quite unique though, compact range with a lot of character.
It's not actually Northern Ireland, this is just outside. Northern Ireland is just all concrete, like a giant car park
Leading my group up this on Saturday, starting at Carrick-little to Devils coach via Annalong valley, then returning via Beg, Cove and Lamagan.
That sounds great! It’s a fun wee scramble.
Yep, done it before, however first time taking the group. If the weather is good I'll take my Mavic 2. Have you done Cove Cave yet? its fun too. Love that 360 camera you use with the invisible pole lol
Haven’t done Cove Cave, where is that? Yeah the pole gets great shots but you look like an idiot using it.
Its at the foot of Lower Cove, not far from Devil's coach road, here's a good video about it ua-cam.com/video/vv7OhCAM-Ko/v-deo.html
Amazing! Cool footage 😃
Well done. Looked epic. I’m sure the filming etc and editing wasn’t easy but great perspective.
Thanks Chris! Was fun climbing with one hand 😂
I know it probably looks worse on camera but that rocky bit looks so scary 😅 Wouldn’t want to have to climb back down that.
Red Nome Yeah it looks way worse going down.
Awesome video mate!! Looks like you guys had some great crack up there, can't wait to see more! Keep er lit!
Thanks Sam!
When you talk to the camera is the video and audio from the insta360 oneX?
Diana Muñoz Yeah. For the shots that obviously use the Insta360. A lot of other shots are with GoPro Hero7 Black. The Insta360 audio isn’t as good as GoPro and terrible in wind.
@@StephenJReid you have the 3mt selfie stick, right? So, in this video you are using 3 different cameras?
Four if you count the drone! Mavic, Panasonic G85, GoPro and Insta360. Takes me ages to get edits done!
@@StephenJReid oh my God! Haha I can see why! You must end up with so much footage 🤯
Awesome vid. Enjoyed the trek with you. You commented on my outdoor post on No Small Creator!
Aha! I know now. Thanks very much! I’ll check out your channel.
Hope you enjoyed yourselves guys that's my every Sunday walk lucky me eh;)

Tell ye wot. Thons the best video I've ever seen of the Mournes! Heading there tomorrow... Thanks for making it so entertaining! 😀👍
Thanks Chris! Hope you have a great hike, where did you head to?
Climbed it, days after watching your brilliant video. Thanks :-)
☺️ Thanks! I need to head back there again!
Nice trek there buddy great wee route in the Mournes nice 1.See shane with you great fella .
Thanks, yeah first time on a hike with Shane. Going to get him to show me good running spots in the Sperrins once the weather is better.
@@StephenJReid nice one seen Shane on Saturday but only briefly he was running by me while I was getting ready to set up in the forest lol

I don’t think the fibre glass is so susceptible to lightning strikes like the granite. Great idea.
I feel so stupid I actually knocked the rocks on the gap to see if they were actually fiberglass
Please tell me you are serious 😂😂😂
I've never seen the Devil's Coachroad looking so epic! Also climbing with a giant selfie stick can not have been easy! 😂
My arm was on fire by the time I was done!!
Awesome video buddy
Thank you Panda man!
Fantastic Video, Why song is playing as you go up through the devils coach road?
Where was your starting point/car park?
Meelmore lodge I think
class

Gary Vaughan I do not, I am just being very, very careful. But suspect it’s only a matter of time before I have an accident with it.
Stephen J Reid loved the video but I did cringe with that camera on the rocks....I probably baby mine too much 👍👍
What app is it you are using every time to show the route of the hike/walk with the satellite view?
It’s called Relive. There’s a free version and a premium option. I use the premium option for full HD videos
Stephen J Reid perfect found it. Was confused by powered by Strava
Next hiking in the mourns with relive then 🤪
i love this combo..360 and gopro 7 is thumbs up
Hi Stephen, me again. Do you have issues with the insta360 one x getting stuck at 99.9% on exporting? If so do you have any fixes? Thanks again
Hi Greg, afraid that's never happened to me. Is that when copying to the phone or when exporting from the app?
Hi Stephen it's when I'm exporting from the app to either my camera roll etc.
Yeah I've never had that happen. Make sure the app is up to date and you have enough free space on phone. If that doesn't work, probably contact support.
Hilarious, fab video

Lad’s day out
I seen my house in this video
I'm sure this has a fantastic narrative but i just mute it and put the lord of the rings soundtrack on and it fits
Haha, the lotr soundtrack is awesome so I have no objections to this.
