Wild camping on a lough in the Mourne Mountains

- Join me as i head back to the Mourne Mountains for another wild camp . Once i was pitched up i had to make a tough decision with strong winds on Lough Shannagh . I also got a chance to test out my summer hiking boots by Salomon the X Ultra 4 Mid GORE- TEX .

Great video James, I think the wise money was on moving. I left from Ott carpark that day for a hike to Bencrom, the wind would have almost blown you off the edge but the views were lovely.

Was out at Lough shannagh last night, lovely spot.
If that was last Friday you were there, that was the night I had to head home as I couldn’t get a sheltered pitch. A lot windier than I had been expecting.

Wise move James by the looks of it mate. Definitely be worth going back to the beach some night. The boots look great as well. I watch that fella mark from newcastle, he makes grood videos, seems to be a good few Geordies do the wild camping.
Yea mate. Was gutted to move pitches but wouldn't of had peaceful camp haha. The boots are really good for summer . I used the scarpa full leather for winter but salomon you can do miles in. I think all geordies love the outdoors weather its wildcamping or a beer garden haha
