Hi, I have a question. after you finish this process do you print the films using just the output separation mode feature in illustrator which gives you two halftone films (orange and yellow) or do you print the yellow gradient as one film and then the solid orange as the other film? Thanks for the video!

Great video. I assume the yellow ink would have to be quite opaque to have the effect seen on the screen?

Would love to see your films after printing this. I am working on a (2) color gradient for a client. I printed normally in AI with AccuRip. Interested to see if I'm doing this right :)

So I’m not understanding the screen part! How do you print the films ? As this is 2 different colors I’m guessing you print 2 films but don’t understand as they would be the exact 2 films

I could use some advice. I have a 300dpi file I'm working on in photoshop and made a custom radial gradient overlaid on top. The gradient has multiple colors and doesn't look as easy to separate out as what you have. I essentially have 1 object with a gradient overlay and transparent bg. Any way you'd be willing to look at my file and point me in the right direction? Not sure at this point if I need to reproduce in illustrator or create the halftone in photoshop.
