I've always liked those pliers. They shouldn't be compared with the pliers found in the Swiss Tool, which are much sturdier. The 91mm pliers is for smaller jobs and have saved the day on many occasions.
That's right. Those pliers are for smaller jobs, of course. While the pliers in the Swiss Tool set is for more serious stuff. Nevertheless, those pliers are all good for our daily usage.
For me those pliers have saved the day many times at the office for repairing staplers or removing that pesky piece of paper that stays stuck in the printer or the copy machine. Of course I use them also like Felix shows especially for fishing.
Thanks, Felix! I was very undecided between choosing a SAK with a metal saw or with pliers. This helped me decide I would get a lot more use from the pliers. You are a Meister at making videos that are entertaining and packed with great tips. :-)

Victorinox SAK pliers are very underrated. They are criticized for their small size, but I find them way more useful in everyday life than the large pliers of plier based multitools
Just bought a new Swisschamp to replace the one I lost a while back (while fishing 😂) exclusively because I love the Victorinox pliers for fishing related needs. I love that you highlighted that specifically. I also use the parcel hook on my fieldmaster to remove fish hooks when I don’t have a knife with pliers on me, but I pretty much repurchased the swisschamp for that reason. It’s an anglers perfect multi tool
Thank you again on a great video! We are glad to see you highlight the use of the pliers. We use them frequently, especially for cooking at in the woods ( I use a plate as frying pan and the pliers as the handle) i also use the pliers to work a wire around my pot to make a handle so I can hang the pot over the fire. I own many Victorinox knives but mainly use the Hercules ( modified the scales and screwdriver, thanks to you again!) and the Evolution 52 (modified as well and is almost like a mini Hercules) Cheers from Canada!
I didn't think I would use the pliers very much, but after getting a craftsman model, I accidentally discovered that pliers are handy much more often than I ever imagined.
The same with me! I am a woman. Last summer I purchased as a keyring small cheap multitool with pliers. After some months I was surprised- how often I have used it! Now I purchased a Swiss kniwe Handyman model with pliers, saw, scissors, etc. I want to get one good Leatherman multitool, too. I think- 3 multitools will be the same as own a big tool box in my house.
@@knifecharlatan8912 I am looking to Leatherman Surge now. There are changeable saw blades and changeable diamant file. If you want, you can use there very long saw from BOSH collection, too.
I cannot recall the number of times I have used my Swiss Champ pliers to repair jewellery, especially necklaces, earrings and bracelets that have snapped. This has always taken place on buses and trains and the owners of the repaired items have always been surprised that someone had the tools to repair their jewellery and had freely offered to do so. Other repairs were to broken luggage and baby buggies (push chairs/strollers). I bought myself the Swiss Champ because I knew that it would be hugely beneficial to have whilst travelling, whereas its hugely beneficial to have regardless of whether one is travelling.

Thank you so much!!
I hope Victorinox paid you for this.. wonderful job! You’ve convinced me of its worth!
I am well supported by victorinox…
Watch your video in Canada.
Amazingly informative and useful!
Thank you for your work!!!
Felix, this is an excellent video. Many thanks. George from Greece.
Really enjoy this series, Sir 😊 Great job and indeed very inspiring.
Greetings from Israel
I've always liked those pliers. They shouldn't be compared with the pliers found in the Swiss Tool, which are much sturdier. The 91mm pliers is for smaller jobs and have saved the day on many occasions.
That's right. Those pliers are for smaller jobs, of course. While the pliers in the Swiss Tool set is for more serious stuff. Nevertheless, those pliers are all good for our daily usage.
Always a revelation watching one of your videos, great information. Thank you Felix.
Not a heavy duty tool but definitely a handy duty tool ❤
i agree..
For me those pliers have saved the day many times at the office for repairing staplers or removing that pesky piece of paper that stays stuck in the printer or the copy machine.
Of course I use them also like Felix shows especially for fishing.
When there were a lot of Salmon Parr or tiny trout in a stream the pliers are handy to squash the barb down on trout flies.
Thanks, Felix! I was very undecided between choosing a SAK with a metal saw or with pliers. This helped me decide I would get a lot more use from the pliers. You are a Meister at making videos that are entertaining and packed with great tips. :-)
Спасибо за отличный ролик. Немногие блогеры сами делают то, чему учат.
От себя добавлю, что пока инструмент новый, то за счет идеального схождения губок его можно использовать вместо пинцета- вытаскивать занозы и выдергивать волосы.
Aaaah, Nice one Felix
Few things i didn't know !
Top Man !!!
I have always underestimated this tool. In fact, for small jobs it can be useful. Happy Life Felix and congratulations.
Danke Felix, SUPER Video! Davon konnte ich wirklich mal wieder einige Anregungen mitnehmen!
I make jewelry and I have found that for the type of jewelry I make these are the perfect combination of bending and cutting
Wowww, thanks a lot for this great feedback!
Absolutely my friend! Thank you for your great passion and inspiring content!!
one of my favourite tool in Victorinox knifes. that is why i usually carry handyman
The pliers are great for taking out those super tight knots
Felix thank you for sharing this one with us you are the Swiss champ🏆😊👍
Haa ha haa, thank you!
Spectacular job Brother thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise and hello from Detroit Michigan USA brother 👋👋
Great ideas! How about for car fuses and other small engine repair?
@@MSkachenite yes!! I have a Leatherman charge that I keep with me everyday, I think it's my favorite Leatherman.
@@knifecharlatan8912 I am looking to Leatherman Surge now.
There are changeable saw blades and changeable diamant file. If you want, you can use there very long saw from BOSH collection, too.
I heard sometimes there good for holding small particles of a plant rolled up in Paper and set on 🔥
I cannot recall the number of times I have used my Swiss Champ pliers to repair jewellery, especially necklaces, earrings and bracelets that have snapped.
Thanks a lot for your wonderful story!!
Hello, Felix - great video! This is a great resource(as are all your videos), so I can better use the pliers in particular and SAKs in general...you make the subject matter fun and interesting...thanks!!
Another EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT VIDEO!!
That makes me happy. Thank you!
I ise it to disassemble legos parts for my kids. Sometimes it's hard to pull them out so that's my favorite tool to get the job done. 🤘
Loved all the demos you did and your engaging manner. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!

I bought this 33 functions victorinox it is fantastic 👌
Thanks a lot Kate!
Hey in here just 3hrs since the video got uploaded. Love this program and you.
Felix be droppn that BASS beat on his video :) great suggestions and tips as always.
It can also be used to reach in between two objects that our sausage fingers can't . For example, After making that fish hook, I dropped it in the crack on the granite surface I was using for my work surface. Thanks, as always for your work and thoughts. Be Well and Good Journey Richie
Thanks a lot Richi..
