- Shauno's over at DMW Industries where they've built the ULTIMATE 79 series! WIN this insane machine AND a boat (yes, seriously) at dmwindustries.... !
This beast ticks off ALL of the must-do mods including an epic chassis extension, wheel track correction and HUGE GVM upgrade!
You guys at DMW have just done so much great work with adding so many great ideas & using every bit of spare space to make the Ultimate 79 series, and to be giving it away is just absolutely awesome. The promo gear you sell is high quality & reasonabley priced. Great job guys.
Most of these “epic 79 builds” get driven around the Gold Coast and thats about it
Lol looks like it,boys and their toys
What a fantastic build who wouldn’t want to have it great work by Rubin and the crew at DWM
"Buy our stuff and have a chance to win". I guess that is to be expected.
This 79 looks absolutely amazing!! I’m looking forward to seeing more of it.
Breaks my heart every time I see one of these builds. Canadians want the nice things too you know! Maybe if CANZUK ever gets of the ground we'll be able to share these kind of things (I know a few aussies who would love a North American 1 tonne build without paying giant markups).
I think most Australians, or at least a large chunk would rather be in your position with cheap access to US pick-ups.
I am a veteran and on a pension, there is no way I could afford a ride like this, but hay one can only dream of getting into the great outdoors. Love the channel by the way
I dream of having an extended 79 series one day!! DMW do such a killer job. Just makes me drool... 🤤😍🐠🤞🏼
I don't think you're the one one with that dream... would love to have one
They’re so overrated it’s not even funny. And I work in a performance 4wd shop
@@aqroticmc2460 agreed, absolutely no need for a 79
@@danielt9656 it’s just a wank factor. Probably why half of them are owned by Gold Coast flops 😂
@@4weeksleave agreed this outdated ute+modes seems to cost around 150-200k which is abysmal. You can get a brand new raptor or a trd tundra with tons of money left to mode.
Are everything is so expensive in Aussie?
Amazing job DMW industries, Rueben and the team doing great in this pandamic, good built, everything a 79 needs, 4wd 24/7 can give the best reviews
Haven't missed a single episode of 4wd24/7. Been watching it since the very first time before the name change and the snatch branding. Really love and enjoy watching all this even though I have never even owned a vehicle in my life although I do have a drivers license because you never know what might happen. Much appreciated for the content you guys bring!
There is a huge Australian aftermarket industry for something Toyota could have fixed in the factory
The real question is if it really needs to be fixed, some accessories are needed indeed but sometimes the off road builds are really over the top and you end up with vehicle attacking 3T and u r not even sitting in it yet.
@@vlcekrudolf3819 Do you need it? Probably not, do I want it? Of course!
I ended up ticking almost every option on my 79 Build, 300mm ext, portals, full canopy etc...Yeah it sits at 3.5T and my 40 year old 60 series did everything my portal 79 does but so much more fun. Life is short, if you can afford it, go for it
Honestly gotta be the best UA-cam channel to ever exist!! keep up the awesome work fellas 🍻🤟🏽
I have 3 Pajero's in the yard. Wow, I would love to replace them all with one 79 Series. DMW have done an excelent job. In Tassie, this would be just heaven.
Wow, Rueben & DMW are absolute craftsmen! I love the thought & engineering that goes into these upgrades!
Interesting seeing other country's contest rules - in the US you can't have any purchase required for entry into giveaways. If you do have purchases for entries, then you are still able to mail in an entry for free (and it must be equal to the highest amount of entries you get from purchases). Best of luck to the winners in Aus though - this is quite a banging contest, and even if you don't win you'll get some sweet gear!
4 1/2 GVM upgrade!!! 😳 Diff correction on the '79...Massive suspensions! The hydrolic boosted break... 🤤.... Yes please!!
What an absolute B.E.A.S.T tourer!!
Not to mention the best mods and everything you need to go bush and catch Barramundi in the Kimberley...my hubby would be jealous!! ... plus a boat and trailer you're laughing!!
Absolutely outstanding build! 😍 I’ve already entered guys so don’t bother... it’s already mine, Just saying 😬😝
Nah champ, It's mine!
I'm in the UK so pointless me entering but good luck to you both, this is an awesome rig and I hope one of you win it. 🏆
Cant be yours when they have not even called a winner ill get out of hospital and that will be in my drive way haha
Good luck with the turning circle on the tight high country trails, great mod but their are other ways to manage the weight.
Such as?
Cannot wait to park this big girl and boat in the driveway! missed the 200, totally winning this one
I would definitely use this 4wd to go down to Fraser to go fishing 😂🐠 it's a beast mate!
Awesome build lads. I'm in the draw can't wait for this one . Crossing the fingers & tows
Straight off the bat, that’s the best explanation of the reason to get a chassis extension. Great video guys, and a great rig! 👊💪
Cheers for the feed back!
This is an awesome build! Dream car! Exactly what I need for the Canning Stock Road! Love this channel!
I Have entered the comp. truly hope to win it. The first place I’ll be going is Fraser Island. Thanks for the chance to win this.
interesting about the wheel track, with trophy trucks/prerunners they all run narrower rear track width approx 2in narrower on most builds
They're also 600 to over 1000hp doing 100km/h through whoops you'd lose a 79 in, not really the same beast.
Lots of comp 4wd trucks run a narrower rear wheel track as well
65y ki
@@jackprice6599 gu patrol leaf rear ute has a big track difference front to back
Trialers do it too. Improves the turning circle.
Super nice 79!
That will give someone a lot of dream trips, little bit envious.
Great looking rig. I have never seen one of these in the States. My wife and I watch all your videos. Keep up the great work 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Cheers for the love over the sea 🍺
Shirt and hoodie ordered dreaming of the Tele track in this beast of a 79 🤞
wish yas would build something g unique or out from the ordinary. 79 is pretty much the most common “epic” 4x4 out on the road now. never the less. Nice 79
I have a 79 on my vision board. I turn 40 tomorrow and hope in the future to be lucky enough to enjoy a 79, so I entered. Thank you
My dream car and would be my first win ever!
Good luck guys and who ever gets it, enjoy the next trip up north. At least that would be my first direction
Paused the vid at 42 seconds went and bought a shirt! 2 days after my birthday imagine the birthday present that would be a 79 series🤩 perfect for a car obsessed fella like myself!!
🤞🏻fingers & toes Crossed, also love Reuben’s 200 this is as close as I’d get to owning that, the work these guys put in is 2nd to none in terms of Quality 👌🏻
For the love of Land cruisers and outdoor camping, I did subscribe to your channel.
Keep it coming 👍
I'm moving to Toowoomba shortly, so the boat may not be used a whole bunch. But the 79 will certainly be very useful.
Damn thats a verry Nice rig. Good job and respect from the Netherlands.
The brake upgrade is probably the biggest thing that should have come factory.
What a weapon of a rig... best of luck to everyone.
Even when I don't win this glorious package, so proud to support a great Australian business in these challenging times 🤘👌
Freemason emojis
@@thetruth9116 Funny that.
Wow now that would be an amazing blessing would be perfect to explore with my family. Great video and such a generous prise for some one.
this rig would be perfect to go up and explore the country, you bet I entered this straight away for this dream 4x4!!!
That’s an awesome truck! I wish US residents can enter too.
Honestly- I know that the so-called experts say that “we can’t build cars in Australia!” After all, it’s not as if we don’t have all the natural resources, under-utilized steel factories that spent decades producing steel for such a purpose, not to mention highly skilled trades and engineering people like we see here at DMW….
We should crowd fund a true Aussie 4wd because the world needs the type of vehicle that our automotive industry people could produce. Just look at the ,knowledge quality, passion and commitment shown by DMW here- what a transformation!
Honestly, we can't afford to. It'd be a $275,000 jimny
We all know the reason is obscene labour rates...
Shirt ordered 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 would change my world!
I'm dreaming of driving that awesome 79 to beautiful camp site and having cold beer and thinking of u guys.
Australian residents only. 😩 You boys get all the best toys. Top of my bucket list is to tour North America in a 70 Series.
If I win I'm getting in and heading straight to the high country with my mates, fingers and toes all crossed!
Can we come?
just dropped my savings money on this, my dad used to have a 79 like this and it was so fun so really keen on trying to win this
Hats off to the DMW crews
Keep it up guys and make muddy videos cause I love it and I’ve enjoyed your videos and keep it up guys I like patrols and disel ones
But why would they do all this If first year apprentices are still lining up to take out house loans to buy one? 😅😂
It's clearly not targeted for first year apprentices...duh.
@@clint5146 Calm down
I like how Shaun is a hard out dmw man and graham is a mits alloy man
Wish I lived there instead of the states so i could enter. Fantastic looking 79.
The Ford Ranger Wildtrak, my new tug, already has a 3,200 Kg GVM; but with a kerb/curb weight of 2,260 Kg leaves just 940 Kg of payload. (GCM is 6,000 Kg).
I'm running a spreadsheet based on OEM Actual weight, then weighing IN accessories and weighing OUT OEM stuff. Let's just say that with some INs and OUTs, no winch, I'm already 60Kg over. So looking forward to a GVM upgrade at ~+300 Kg.
I have 52 lines of IN and OUT, so I'm accounting for everything for a new build.
Very important to present a tug to the suspension fitters with accurate weights, not to mention driving style and terrain.
Better have a big poo before you go for a drive 🤣
@@michaelatkin2562 LOL!
Omg..the original one is already good enough..u guys just perfecting it..😄👍
Killer of a rig wish mine was like this
Great video guys, I would love to win that 79 but I ain’t got the money to enter
love the videos so much you guys put a smile on my face every day much love
I love this guy voice👌🤣, it so unique....it's just sound interesting🔥
Not gonna lie that mine (70th anniv) is a mall crawler and I only use it "off-road" when I'm buying properties, anyone who has a 79 must do their suspension upgrades
70th anniversary model twin cab has leather, proper center console. Will be a collectors models one day.
If I buy a $6000 tray from you guys at DMW, would I be getting 171 entries? (6000/35)? What if I spent 50k at DMW? Do I get 1428 entries? Thanks guys! Great build
Watching from the states wishing we had them but happy we don't have laws like aus.
Just got my DMW Merch.
I suppose I could be persuaded to take this thing for a spin and leave the patrol at home😁👍
Dmw Turing dreams into reality good luck to all this will change a family’s life for ever it’s got everything you could ever dream to have on a tourer 🙏🇦🇺
I own a 2005 Toyota 79 series with the 1HD-FTE motor, its old school trouble free, I wouldn't sell or swap it for anything.
My dream set up
The brake upgrade is certainly a bonus! We had 79s in the Forestry with a fire fighting unit on the back and you'd nearly pull the steering wheel off if you had to brake in a hurry. How do you go turning them with the chassis extension?
I would be curious to know how the brakes work when the power steering pump fails, it's not common but can happen.
Remember when we didn't HAVE to have all this stuff and just got out there anyway in our stock 4x4's just a bullbar 2 battery's with a isolater switch and that was that.
Nice dad will love watching this keep it up
Glad to hear it!
Big compromise in turning circle one of my patrols are lengthed 350 patrols with h260 floating hub have a narrow diff too
Love you guys and I will love to win that beast of a mashean. Ben my dream for a long time.
Us in the USA are drooling over this and wish we could enter to win.
Making me happy with these uploads mate
nice rig wish we could get basic wagons /troopys ,79s in the states some thing utilitarian not over priced luxury trucks, wagons all have to have 3 rows I dont know any one who overlands or go touring with 7 -8 people
The 70 series are the best genuine 4x4’s bar none! The people who bag them are the people who can’t afford them 🤙
That's exactly right mate! I love my 79. Best truck i've ever had.
Shame it's only for AU residents... I'd have driven over for a prize like that! Good luck and best of travels to the winner!
Perfect job
This would change my life. Thanks for the opportunity guys. 🤙
You should be concentrating on avoiding bbqs that end with ya jumping fences from the cops mate.
@@mattgroves8642 you must have me mistaken for someone else
@@mattgroves8642 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good looking rig captain
All the way from south africa and love all the uploads!!!
thats a nice rig, I try to find out the total value of such a setup. Car plus modifications are for sure above 100k$. One day we will come to Australia and do offroad trips.
They start at $100k. You're looking at $170+ here, maybe more with covid tax
Nice! Just a pitty that I won't be able to enter, I live in South Africa 😭😭😭😭 You guys have all the goodies there. I'm jealous!!!
Great vid and keep it up 👍👍👍
Perfect Mate just Perfect
The kids would go mental heading out in this rig!!!
Got my dmw trucker cap in the mail today and its awesome, only trouble I have now is deciding wether to wear the snatch hat or the new one lol
Holy moley, that's a beast!
He heyday 4wD I love you guys I’m Steven Khumalo from South Africa 🇿🇦 I have never went for 4x4 but I’m loving you guys one day it’s going to be me 💪🔥
This is bloody exciting. How good would this thing be. Great work from Ruben and the DMW team 💪💪💪💪
Great vehicle except the 4.5 litre engine. What a dud. And the turning circle- and the seating position - and the fuel economy- and the narrow cab - and the manual transmission and of course the rear track and the brakes and the handbrake and the weak chassis.
Apart from that, for $80k it’s awesome……..
Just buy a truck with an ISRI 6860 airseat and the capacity to do all this from the factory.
It’s a dream tourer alright. A bad dream.
Exactly thing is for $90,000 you get wind up windows
What’s wrong with being manual? Fuel economy is fine as well
I’d be beside myself if I won this awesome package.
OIIII MAD build boys, Definitely entering … love the channel guys
Have just entered! fingers crossed 🤞🏻
That would be a dream to win always wanted one after driving one for work
Imagine if the one person who bought the DMW stubby coolers won 🤣
Would be a great vehicle for hunting and fishing in the lakes of the South Island New Zealand
Great vehicles made even better. Great vid!
Awesome give away guys wishe we could enter from South Africa. 😢
i love the design of the rig, but the there is a problem with the filler spout, the location in the rear?, watching most of your video;s in travel, your always in the water, in the mud, this area is a dragging point . that;s an area were the it collects most of the debris, in offroading, !, in 1 video it shows jocko, installed a fuel tank and then having to relocate the exhaust tube or muffler, in that area, i told him to install a exhaust tube or muffler stack, is where i would install the fuel filler? its a high point, its easier to run fuel in a down -ward location instead fuel upward. in my dodge truck , the filler tube is located high up on the side of the camper shell, . moved it up 2 feet higher then where it was before. as far as the rest of the truck VERY GOOD RE-CONSTRUCTION
DMW needs international exposure! Open the drawing up to your American brothers!
