I take the footrest off and attach it to the top and put the straight support in. I use two bungie cords. One at the top and one at the bottom. They are connected around both sections. When I get to the tree I remove the straight support and bungies and leave they at the base of my tree. I attach the foot rest and climb.

Nice review thanks I want to ask you a question do you know anyone that uses a recurve bow and does the stand get in the way at all when you’re using The recurve

Thank you very much. I really don’t know of anyone using a recurve. I would recommend adjusting the stand a little lower and I believe you would be fine.

I suggest a Summit Seat Of The Pants Harness. Never trusted the cheap ones that come with a stand.

How do you deal with the WIDE bases so many trees in the South seem to have. Pain in the butt LOL

That's a good question. Normally you will have to put the stand at an extreme angle to begin with. It will level out as you climb. If the tree is too large you will just have to pick another tree. Most of the time it works out. Hope this helps.

We are both right at 6ft. Between the both of us we own 4 of theses stands. I personally love the net seating. Its comfortable enough to sit all day.

Thank you for the Sub!! Yes you are a little North of us. We absolutely love the olman stands. We have 3 of the steel version and 1 aluminum version between the 2 of us.

31 pounds is a lot ain’t it do they make any stands lighter
