+Josh Mcever Glad this helps you guys out- going to go even more in depth though. These exercises help get you on the right track but it's like working out at the gym- it's not really the exercise itself that improves your voice. It's the training over a long period of time, with increasing difficulty!
Hey dude! Could you help me out with the raw peaks singers like Oli Sykes do like in Drown (NOT okay, drag me down ALIVE, DON'T let me drown) or Happy Song (SING along, HAPPY song) etc? I can reach some high notes, but my voice breaks easily when I try to add that rawness. Also, I can do a high fry scream but I can't seem to find that sound that is like it's somewhere in between singing and screaming often used in metalcore/punk stuff.
+Jabbal Lui Okay this gets a bit complicated but it's not really the resonance. It's just the ORIGIN of where the voice is sung. So you could be singing with the resonance in the vocal mask, but the origin of the sound begins deeper than just vibrating in your head. Hope this helps, it is a little bit complicated to explain- so just read my sentence carefully!
he sounds like Vic Fuentes without his chest voice
Hell yeah!! Great work on this one it is so crazy how one little modification can change things drastically. Thank you Doug!

Hey can I sample your voice in a beat I make is that ok
So basically, the resonance only in chest ? Or it resonance first in the chest and then shoot up to resonance in vocal mask ?
