Najokazalsze skały mają swoje nazwy: Prządka-Baba, Prządka-Matka, Herszt i Zbój Madej.
there are 402 castles in Poland, where in only one Voivodeship of Lower Silesia there are 93 castles (for comparison, in the Podlaskie Voivodeship there are only 4) - I live in the largest mountain town in Poland (larger than Zakopane which is in the Tatra mountain range) - in Wałbrzych in which is one of the largest castles in Poland / in the world - Książ Castle :) Besides, there are 2700 palaces in Poland ;) (no, I didn't get the zeros wrong ;) )
In Poland we have the Błędowska desert, or does it also exist in Germany?,Malbrk is the largest brick castle in the world.Salt mine in Wieliczka 125 meters underground
You see similarities because Gdańsk belonged to Germany for a time, and was a so-called "free city", then wholly Poland's. If U want to watch Polish Legends in "modern edition" I recommend the series of short movies- Allegro: Legendy Polskie. The viewing order: Legendy Polskie: Smok Legendy Polskie: Twardowsky Legendy Polskie: Twardowsky 2.0 (there is a video with those two combined into one movie) Legendy Polskie: Operacja Bazyliszek Legendy Polskie: Jaga And then there are cover songs, which also tell a story, and complete the movies. EDIT: If U want nature, I recommend Bieszczady mountains! Those are (at least were some years ago) the wildest part of Poland. "Rzucę wszystko i wyjadę w Bieszczady!" ("I'll leave / quit everything and go to the Bieszczady Mountains!") is a saying ;) Bieszczady are part of Carpathian Mountains. EDIT2: Castles, keeps, citadels and palaces are common in all of the "Old World", not only Germany.
I'm tired of that "Gdańsk belonged to germany" shit. It's not german architecture, it's Polish architecture inspired by netherlands . Over 90% of Gdańsk was destroyed during ww2 and was rebuild by Polish people.
@@diablo4624 But the fact is still the same, it did belong to Germany. I am not happy about it, but I will not ignore the facts. And it does reseamble German cietes.
@@paulinarapicka It was ruled by Poland for majority of it's history, but it doesn't matter. The point is germany didn't built that city, so the argument "it was ruled by germany, so it's similar to their cities" is plain dumb and pointless.

In Gdańsk's districk Wrzeszcz barracks of The Black Hussars (assigned to the XVII German Army Corps) were built in the years 1893-1896 (according to other sources, 1890-1896). They also build the hippodrome in Sopot, BTW. Plus Gdańsk had traded with German cites for centuries, and Gdańsk is full of traces of German influence. In the 13th century, the Cistercians appeared in Poland from areas including Germany. In addition to monasteries and temples, they also founded mills, forges and ponds. Merchants from Lübeck also came to Gdańsk. In 1308, the Teutonic Knights occupied Gdańsk and introduced a new symbol of the city - a coat of arms: 2 crosses. Later, King Casimir Jagiellon added a crown and 2 lions to the coat of arms, but the crosses remained. A fragment of Psalm 122 is engraved on the "Golden Gate" in German: "May those who love each other prosper, may peace reign within your walls and happiness in your palaces" On the "Upland Gate" in 1884, the coat of arms of the German Empire, the country in which Gdańsk was then located, was added from the city side. It depicts an eagle in a crown, holding symbols of power in its talons: a scepter and a royal orb.
Kosciuszko mound was made by people bringing in soil a handful at a time in memory of his heroism.
