Am I the only one that bothers, that this UA-camr is never with his face in the middle of the circle. He should get his shit together, alyway those Germans tss.... tss... tss...
I see that is updated video. Anyway, Poland was historically more afraid of Germany attacking us with Russia, as that happen several times already. Generally today most Poles consider Germany dragging legs as larger issue.
@@TheRezro Damn, this story is more complicated. For the first time, Poland clashed with the Germans near Cedynia. We had a bigger problem with Russia only during the partitions. That's a difference of several hundred years. Marx Engels are not Russians. Lenin also came to Russia from Germany and the Polish-Bolshevik war was about preventing Russia from passing through Poland to the German communists. We paid for this war in 1920
"Katyń" and Hitler himself killed almost all German communists in concentration camps.
@@piotrsodel3077 Kaherine the Great was actually German and North Stream is a German-Russian project. Germany was the country that offered 500 helmets to attacked Ukraine... Putin studied German at Saint Petersburg High School and was a KGB officer in the then-East German city of Dresden. Merkel joined the Free German Youth (FDJ), the official communist youth movement sponsored by the ruling Marxist-Leninist Socialist Unity Party of German... So the bond between Germany and Russia at the cost of Poland has a long history...this is what we are most afraid of.
@@piotrsodel3077 I just add two details:
Partitions were result of devastating war with Sweden, which take out both Empires. And even then German controlled states of Prussia, Austro-Hungary and Russia needed work together.
It is not just that Lenin was German agent. Hitler and Stalin work together until 1941.

@@TheRezro All the wars fought before the partitions resulted in shortages in the royal treasury.
At that time, the Polish economy was based on grain, and other countries at that time were already introducing industrial innovations that Poland missed out on. There was also a problem in the army. Russia suddenly created a large army in which ordinary citizens served. The nobility clung to their traditions for too long and quarrels were actually the main cause of Poland's decline.
The reason of Poland having more powerful army than Germany is simple - you do not have a border with Russia :-)
and Germany
And Ukraine 😂
Depends . We are all in Nato so we've got enough russian border so everybody have to prepare for everythink . Not just western country.
History has already shown more than once that allies in times of need have left Poland in the lurch....
It doesn't matter, if war between Russia and NATO ever escalte, then Poland will be a battleground between two fronts, as always, not Germany.
I am from Greece and when I was in the army 4 years ago, a common joke we had, was that Greece has more german tanks than Germany itself 😂

The data in this video is now severely outdated. Poland already has much more modern equipment, and in a few years, when the ordered equipment will be delivered and the number of professional soldiers will increases at the same time, Poland, according to analyses, will have a larger and stronger army than Germany, France and the UK combined.
Yeah, they prepare to send them to Ukraine.
@@mikrandr - We are not the Russia of 2014 (annexation of Crimea), we are not the Germany of the 1930's. We found out what alliances are worth in September 39'when the allies betrayed us. There will not be another march of communism to the west and fascism to the east. Why would we push into Ukraine to pump billions into that poverty and fight the corruption arrangements? We had that at home in the 90's. To do a repeat, and go back 20 years in reforms and stop the country's development in favour of sinking money to level the playing field of occupied lands? (Germany, after reunification, halted its development for 20 years before levelling out the differences in civilisation between the eastern and western states). Russia may want the lands of the Ukraine because these are better civilised than Russia itself, but us? FOR what? We have 1.5 million Ukrainians at home, they are doing well here and I hope they feel just as well (if you can feel well somewhere, being expelled from your own country by a war) why do we need another 20 million.

About being peaceful - we can be peaceful and don't want any war. But if other states want war and are hostile, it just won't help much. So it should be rather as in the ancient Roman saying: "If You want peace, prepare to war" (in Latin: Si vis pacem, para bellum).
germany is stronger
@@Matik0921 Well, they write themselves in media that Bundeswehr is not in a good condition. And also about people, many of them, in particular Muslims, but not only them, probably would do nothing to protect the country in case of war. And in case of war with Russia and their allies (as they are supported after all by many undemocratic, authoritarian regimes and dictatorships, like North Korea, China and Iran, and other), every democratic country defending freedom must have help grom its allies. That's why the NATO and appropriate fullfilment of obligations within this organization is important.
The video was interesting. It's worth to add that Poland as a NATO member since years is fulfilling all her obligations, especially an obligation to spend at least 2% of a country's GPD on defence (Poland spends even more). While many other NATO members, including some of the Western European countries, does not (which is regularly criticised by the USA and also by the NATO General Secretary as shameful and undermining all of our common security).
That is overblown issue, because NATO still has way more weapons then Russia.
Trump failed in premiery goal what is deterrence. Fortunately Axis of Evil clearly want attack US not Europe.
Poland 4 % 2024
And germans dont
but, 1,5% of germans gdp i more worth than polands 3,4%
@@Matik0921 It doesn't matter. Fullfiling o ligations is fulfilling obligations. And it's understandable that if they are a bigger country with more people, they should spend more on defence. It's obvious.
I think this data is not correct. Poland is at the beginning of army modernization, which will last many years. Currently, terribly old structures are being replaced with ultra-modern ones and this is where the biggest difference will be. For example, we are buying F-35 and as many as 96 Apache helicopters. There's not that much in any army. We build our own armored vehicles, drones and missiles. There were about 1,300 tanks, of which 1/3 of the oldest ones were transferred to Ukraine. As for the weapon. "Grot" is a modern design that is slowly being modified and developed (currently in the 3rd generation - I think I'll buy it :)). Weapons in private hands in Poland, not just 1%. There are 1 million gun permits and half of my friends have them at home. Poland, as a former Eastern Bloc country, has a very large army in relation to its population and will have an even larger one, including civil defense.
yes you will se 96 apache in you drams.
Like 500 himars.
And that not buying that say to usa can you sell 96 apache.
Apache is 2 time more expensive in buy and 4 time more expensive to use then m1a2 abrams.
and 2 time more expensive in use and buy then german tiger.
also absolutely 1/3 tank form soviet wher you want to get parts and engine for soviet tank and weapons from Russia?
almost all t72 go to Ukraine a half years ego.
And maybe 1/3 pt91.
@@krystiannona7141
Nobody buys these things for cash. We are in such a situation because we do not have alternative solutions, e.g. Apache helicopters, and we can create something from scratch. The same applies to tanks. released by Korean Pantera, this one has not changed. It will be different from the one in Korea and slowly manufactured and serviced locally. Large military projects are accompanied by offsets and loans.
@@krystiannona7141 The T 72 was produced in Bumar Łabędy in Gliwice, and the parts differed; several countries had a license for its production, e.g. the Czech Republic and India. It doesn't matter now, because the structure was designed to be used after the explosion of an atomic bomb - that's why there is no loader. It turned out that the way it was used in Ukraine was wrong - one hit due to the ammunition magazine killed the entire crew. We probably won't use Leopards anymore and we have probably 300 of them.

The caliber of the ammunition does matter. Firstly, the standard NATO round is a 7.62 mm round. This is so all NATO rifles can use the same ammo. However, it isn't required. For example, the last US rifle to use the 7.62 was the M14 rifle, which was replaced by the M16 which uses a 5.56. A 9mm Parabellum pistol doesn't do the same damage, nor have the same stopping power, of the .45 caliber round of the US M1911 pistol.
The other thing to remember is that Poland doesn't want to rely on Allies who say they'll help but may not. As what occurred in 1939. One reason the Poles welcomed the US Army V Corps to Poland (Camp Kosciuszko) was because if they're invaded, the invaders will automatically be hitting US troops which means war with the US as well.
We're not afraid of Germany attacking. Actually, for much of Poland's existance we didn't have any conflicts with Germany (or HRE as there was no Germany to begin with). We are, however, aware that Russia is round the corner. Your policy of doing business with Russia instead of war was never going to work, and it has nothing to do with NATO expansion. Russia is not a country that relies on normal trade relations for the good of society. Russians have a tsarist empire mentality. Russia had democracy maybe for 5 years in its entire history and Russians view that period with shame. No one in Russia cares for the people and their comfort as much as they care for their shape on the map.
Very well said.
100% agreed it. Western Countries Have to understand what Russia exactly is.

Land mass of the country is a major factor for the military. If you have a lot of land You can do a tactical withdrawal force the enemy to stretch his supply lines, encircle them, how much space for maneuvering and things like that.
Poland 🇵🇱 doesn't mess around, they've been slowly becoming Europe's Stronger Non-Nuclear Superpower in recent years and it's a very difficult country to get into even legally, because you have to have a legitimate reason to be in the country and you have to be able to prove that you have relatives that live there at least, and you have to prove your citizenship by right of blood or legal documentation, and if you can do either of those two, they'll let you through any side of Poland's Borders and none of this is to be mean to anyone,it's to ensure complete and total national security,as Poland has been invade many times,by almost every other Nation in Europe,so they know better than any other country in Europe not to let outsiders in.

Hi, Chris. No, we in Poland are not afraid of being attacked by the Germans, and it's not because we have bigger or smaller army, but because Germany has a normal, democratic and responsible society and politicians. What we actually fear, is if we can count on you as our ally and if you won't be reluctant to help us if Russia decides to attack.
You most probably don't know it Chris but wife of Polish Parliment Speaker, Szymon Hołownia, is the pilot of MIG-29. Well Germany is in very comfortable position of being very safe from any direct military threats - 100% bordering countries are allies, it's in NATO and the only potential threat - Russia - would have to first invade and defeat Poland to even reach Germany by land. So at least since 1991 the government was more than happy to save on military and pump the industry instead, and II ww trauma helped to justify that. We on the other hand have direct border with potential enemy and even though we are in NATO we know very well that we have to stand our ground for a while until any serious NATO forces even arrive (if they arrive at all - no one can be sure until it happens at least once somewhere). I think the state of our armies reflect that pretty well.
Germany primarily serve as logistic Hub for NATO.
If my memory serves me right, the Germans lost two wars with Poland and now it would be a repeat of the entertainment. Wait in 4 years, when Poland completes all its orders for the Polish army, no Nenets or French will compare on UA-cam.
This video is a little outdated because we have already some of the equipment from our new contracts. I definitely recommend watching same video from the same channel but after finalizing all of the militaries' equipment orders. I think Germany made some too but not as big as ours.

If you compare German army vs Polish army in 1930 it would be much more in favor of Poland. I recall very "sad and alarming" German poster from 1930, showing peaceful and defenseless Germany surrounded by ships, guns, tanks, planes and armies planning to invade it. Yet, only 9 years later Germany destroyed not just Poland, but the next year all the Western Europe, combined. And another year later almost defeated the Soviets (who built the largest army in the world), at the last moment saved by the US+UK resources. What really counts, is the size of economy and industrial potential. Also, demography, but nowadays less and less...
Poland in 1943 have a great army but war started in 1939.
Now we speaking about plan realized in 2035.
And Russian economy will collapsed in 1-5 years.
So if something go wrong poland have vary low number of tank tragic number of air force symbolic navel and attack helicopter close to non.
Stack ammunition for 1 month of fight.
In 2035 poland start to selling equipment.
Why german have bigger air foce because pilot is over 5 years or 10 years of training
Ej obejżyj prosze film u Makumba TV i tam zobacz porównanie wojska Polskiego i Niemieckiego ponieważ on tam ma dokładne liczby bo jest politykiem od wojska i wie o wszystkim
Every military force is created for needs of particular country. Germany don't need strong land forces, because there is close to none risk of them being invaded by land. Since there is a military alliance, it makes a lot of sense for Poland as potential frontline, to have tanks, AA systems and sheer numbers. Germany would complete the front well with sending aircraft, so the way it is, looks logical to me. Poland must maintain strong army at all times, that is obvious, because it's matter of life and death. If i was German, i wouldn't keep half million army, just in case another country gets attacked. Germany have other ways of helping. If they only contribute to keeping air supremacy over attacked Poland, we can handle rest. What i am mostly afraid of is, how strong the alliance would be in a moment of need, because famous article 5 can be interpreted in many ways. That is also wy Poland upgrades army so quickly: we might see a situation, where Poland is fighting alone for weeks, while allies debate about how to help without annoying the little KGB oldtimer.
And it will be even much deeper in the next few years, because Poland has massive contracts ongoing. e.g. 1000+ tanks (Abrams/K9) , 500+ howitzers, 500+ himmars/chunmoo, 96 Apachee, 32 F-35, 50 FA-15. As you can see this is mostly US and Korean stuff (and of course Polish). Poland would like to buy European one, but there are no such capacities. E.g we need 1000 tanks, and all what Rheimetall can offer is 100 within 5 years.
German on Polish border asked about occupation, said he's just visiting.
And it is very important what type of ammo You use for many reasons.
belive me You would prefer to get hit with a .22 Long rifle round than a .45 hallow point... or a 308 lapua
For example a 9x19 is very different than a 9x18 in many ways. Ways that might seem miniscule way but in extream conditions (like war) every thing can make a huge difference.
for example the 9x18 is a lot slower and tend to have to little force to destroy and fragment itself on impact then the 9x19. We use to laugh that You can see the 9x18 fly. From what i know The 18 is more prone to ricoschete making it a bit more dengerous for the shooter himself. Im not sure but i find The 9x19 to be worse to get hit by, not becous of the speed or the force but becous of a much higher chance of fragmentation and deformation of the bullet. to be honest You could write a whole book about it... and many people have.
It doesnt take every one in five Germans having a gun. All it takes is Hans having a collection of 500 pieces to make up for half of his town
We - Poland - basicaly dont have our own military industry, and Germany, together with France and UK, are countries that HAD their own, GREAT military industry and had DESTROYED it.

In current political situation, whatever danger can come to Germany it will have to go through Poland first. That explains the numbers. You would still have some time to prepare before we fall down, we don't have that.... or actually we do, that's Ukraine now. Hopefully Europe will start to think and prepare collectively so no more countries have to have war. We have much less chances separately.
You know what's the best part? That maybe like 1/4 or 1/3 of Polish Equipment is from Cold War Era.
wrong! all of that shit went to Ukraine
Jesteśmy krajem granicznym EU i NATO . Muślę że Litwa Łotwa i Estonia mają również silną armię

Nie porównujmy Litwy, łotwy i Estonii które są parę razy mniejsze do Polski
Ich armię nie są jakieś wybitne
To raczej niemożliwe. Są małe i małoludne. Nie posiadają nawet lotnictwa wojskowego. Ich obszar patrolują myśliwce NATO. Rotacyjnie.

1:30 You're right. Not "every fift". This is statistics of "guns per capita". In a group of 100 people only one person may have guns, but he can have 20 guns. :)
But still - in Poland this number is just a disaster.
2:00 Well no, not really. It depends. :)
2:40 As NATO front state we should have much more. Personnel statistics are not very accurate. We have a lot of reserves "on paper", that are not really usable due to old age or lack of training, since we stopped draft like two decades ago.
8:00 No, they're not for damage. Just for reconnaissance.
8:25 That's basically "kamikadze" drones.
9:50 That actually makes sense. Poland has too much of land on the east to defend. We shouldn't waste too much resources on sea.
Take into account that Poland donated 400 tanks to Ukraina, in addition to which they donated combat vehicles, helicopters, cannon howitzers, ammunition, Mig29 fighter planes
I think numbers for Poland are: what has been bought/ ordered not what actually has been delivered! No way we already so many himarses!
Be glad that you have a sensible government that builds the economy, not slaughter it.
About the taxes we have 23% VAT and Germany have 19% Mehrwertsteuer but remember that the Polish zloty is 4x weaker than the euro, products are more expensive in Poland and our paychecj is weaker....
We're still supposed to get much more stuff from south korea. Like tanks and himars in thousands. But it won't be very fast probably.
And from the U.S. and homemade stuff too 🙂
Man we’re allies these days. We should think about doing business and growing fast together. We should not talk about differences of our armies and comparing them against each other but about their abilities combined. You can defend our coastline and we can support you with our anti-air defense.
"The German one (attack helicopter) looks cooler"
The MI24D isnt even Polish. Its Soviet that got adapted by Poland after The Soviets withdrew and fell, so technically, we dont even have OUR own
And even now, Poland uses foreign helicopters. Yes, we have our own but its ANCIENT (1979) so it wouldnt even do much
I think, despite our hurtful history, Germany and Poland are perfectly suited as allies. Our military and economies compliment each other. If Hitler never attacked us, I believe our countries could be bigger (economically) than USA. I mean Germany is 2nd biggest economy anyway. Now add Poland growing uninterrupted since 1918 as their main partner…
first of all, germany is producing the most military equipment in Europe, but because of that it mostly sells it to other countries instead of keeping it for themselves
We are on same side now, my friend. Small drones are used for surveillance. Loitering drones are meant to hang out in a sky for a while and do recon they also provide data for tactical strikes.
Of course theyre stronger. Meanwhile Germany (like most of the western countries) have been cutting defence budget year by year, Poland was still aware that Russias regime havent changed that much.
I Paus this Video.. one of the reason we have less Mortas is, we get them back... Germany gave up capabilities like mortars and now it's coming back.. and it is not only the Manpower or Vehicle for a good Army.. it is the training and skill... and in this germany is one of the bes Army's in the entire World.
"if you want peace, preper for war.* Art of war by Wegecjusz (Si vis pacem, para bellum)
But 1 thing you must remember, Germany has more planes- Poland has the quadruple of antiair, Germany has more ships- Poland has more antiship. I hope we never have to use this equipment, and I'm not talkin about Germany vs Poland. I hope we Polish and German people will never see war again
Despite all of this please rememember Poles have one (not one but several) special forces and intelligence units in the world
Commision means when said ship began it's military service .
Or whne the first unit of said model was sent to the battlefield.
It could also be used as a term ti explain something like for example "King Leonidas comissioned 300 hoplites to defend greece at Thermopylae"
But basically or rather mainly, it means when the service began. in case of ships, when it left the harbor for the first time.
Populacja społeczeństwa też tu śmiesznie pokazana zapomniałeś dodać że więcej niż połowa w Niemczech to multi kulti !
Chris, could you record your reactions to "Opolak ► HUSARIA ◄ (German Version)" , it's a song in your language so you'll easily understand it, and in my opinion it's a very important part of Polish history, it's worth getting to know it too, I hope you'll consider doing it! Alles Gute, Deutscher Bruder!
Comparing weapons and strengths can give some interesting data, but it's the people using those weapon that founts. Ideology is what drives people to commit to life altering decisions and i can't ever imagine such a senario honestly.
Here is what both countries have at the moment. It's just that Poland has made very large orders and in 5-6 years there will be almost twice as much of everything as in your video.
Not an expert but definitely interested in military and after re-checking against few sources, including official, our numbers are overestimated/outdated or while the raw number being still higher, gear quality is far inferior to German. Not to mention much greater German military sector capabilities for production, logistics and potential for financing... From the other side Germany would've been in huge political disadvantage if war happened in today's geopolitical situation(somehow, lol). Nevertheless conflict today between us would've been bloody, lets not do it (please).
Together with France, we would build an incredibly powerful army, just think about it for a second.
2:20 - caliber does matter greatly i.e. the 9mm may not actually go a lot of harm if not hitting vital organs and arteries. There are plenty of videos where a person receives several shots and can still run. 9mm will likely stop on larger bone. This is not so likely when you get shot with 7.62 round.
War is just a tool of politics and it's not necessary to be used to conquer or attack someone these days. Germans have other abilities like economics, influence and most of news market in Poland.
You have to add in the next 2 years for Poland:
- 1000 tanks of K2 Black Panther, 500 tanks of Abrams
- 50 aircrafts F35-A Lightning II, 50 aircrafts of FA-50
- 500 rocket launchers HIMARS,
- 220 howitzers of K9, 100 howityers of KRAB
- own satelite in the space (this year it will be ready I think)
- helicopters- 100 Apache, 32 x AW149
- 5 corvets (they are building at the moment), 10 submarines, 3 frigates
- 30 drones Bayraktar,
And these are just a few examples. There will be much more of all this equipment.
The number of soldiers will be twice as large as in Germany.
In the next 2 years there will be no Poland if politics will wannt war war war what is not our anyway, another thing propaganda, the truth is we have all alot less thaan DE
Hey Chris, those figures are not up-to-date. Poland has more jets, attack helicopters, tanks and other weapons coming.
Najlepszą inwestycją w bezpieczeństwo Niemiec było wciągnięcie przez Niemcy Polski do NATO I Unii Europejskiej.

So you are saying "I'm a pacifist" at the same time you are saying "HOW BAD ARE WE"(In military firepower)... :D that's a good one
Sattelites not because of the ESA.. it is our own.. Germany was the third country in the World with this kind of Sattelites. Besides of ESA we have our own Space Agency
I think you seriously underestimate your homeland. Have you already forgotten how quickly you went from Reichswehr to Wehrmacht years ago? You did it once, you can always do it twice :P (And yes, this is dark humour)
It is Russia that we are afraid of, not Germany. The problem is that according to the population size and GDP our military shouldn't be near-peer or stronger than German.
I m from Poland and I can say that this data is probably false.... we surely don't have 570k military personel XD bruh, we aren't that strong, nor that numerous :
Fun fact: in a full scale war Germany would lose all amunition in less than a month
In two days. thats no joke, we have amunition for two days.
Chris, even being better prepared than Germany we might be afraid of invasion - after all, no war at all is what we want, not a winning war - which costs and takes human lives, on the winner's side, too.
It wasn’t “gun owners per 100” but “guns per 100”. Usually one gun owner in Germany has around 3-4 guns. That means around 5% of Germans have guns (mostly for sport and hunting).
Young man
Our neighbour is Russia . If you check previous 400 years of our history it will explain a lot
True is lots of equipment shown for Poland is ordered but Poland don't get it yet, like Abrams, K2, Himars or Apache, this mean this comparition is far from reality
I tak najbardziej liczy się wywiad. Nie mamy ŻADNEJ własnej satelity co oznacza, że cele do ataków i/lub obrony będzie nam wyznaczać obce państwo. Przykładem jest Ukraina.
my friend, don't forget who we have on the eastern side of the border ;) Poland is learning from the mistakes made in the past. We know perfectly well what Russians are like
everyone know
Remember. This stat is about guns per citizens not armed citizens. There are people who have multiple guns
I know. Still way too high
I see that this is somewhat outdated, they didn't include some of our recent purchases. for example tanks, they counted PT91's and T72's that went to ukraine and didn't counted 800 K2's (but you can understand, changes are that rapid that even I sometimes get lost despie the fect that I'm interested in all that military stuff xD)
