For the record your comment about seeing it as watching a whole new dub, is kinda one of the reasons they had so much trouble with the series. Because there’s quite a few people that completely agree with that.

It actually got to the point from rewatching this so much and so well, that I watched the “real” version on DVD...and it just seemed wrong lol
The jokes do nothing but improve, with constant throwbacks as well
If you remember some of the fake attack names that Piccolo and Nail were creating he refers back to them later when fighting Cell and the androids.
DBZA does a remarkable job of telling the story. I also absolutely love Team Four Star's Final Fantasy 7 Machinabridged
Ya know I never thought about it but for the 3 years they were training the virus never came but all of a sudden Goku gets it at the worst time plus how the hell did he even get it
He took the medicine... For a while then he stopped
Well trunks states that in his Timeline a lot of people died because of the Virus( hence the medicine), in the future he dies 6 months before the androids show up, probably got it when he was Shopping with chi chi or something, meanwhile in the present he gets sick six months later my reasoning for that is(besides plot) since goku unlike his future self spent 3 years training before the androids showed up he probably had less contact with other people, and therefore avoided getting sick when he was supposef to, and was infected at a later date, shit luck if you ask me

The writing for this season is ON POINT. There are several aspects that they improve upon the original while still remaining hilarious. TFS NAILED it with the amazing writing and performances and I can't wait to see how you guys feel about how thy handle the androids and Cell. Fuckin PERFECTION!
So the line of “Pushups, sit-ups and plenty of juice” is actually from the original anime dub. He tells Semi perfect Cell that was how he got so strong.
It’s also my initial thought whenever I see a character get so damn OP in such a short time.
I just wish Team4Star had the permission to release the whole series on a three disk DVD box!! And the music videos as extra material!

23:24 when I was in Highschool in like 2012-2015 and I started watching Abridged it was what got me back into rewatching Dragon Ball , Z and later Super because the Jokes rekindled my old love for the show in a new way and made me rebuy the old series on Bluray , Yet Toei and Funimation complain and hate TFS, Even though theres circumstances and im not the only one that did something similar im sure, that has made them more money and helped their shows fandoms, But they had to be dicks to TFS
I've noticed that Japanese companies tend to be dicks to their fandoms in general, especially non-Japanese fans. I'm sure not all Japanese companies are assholes, but it sure seems that a lot of them absolutely hate their fans.

@@SN27671 their Ehhhh , the Goku voice actor Sean Schemmel hates them, or things like their not really creators, but then again Sean Schemmel is kinda a whiney little man child of a bitch.
Even though Goku's VA is not a fan of them, Chris Sabot is a massive fan of theirs and has even guest appeared under an alias to voice a character here or there. One of them was Abraham Hellsing from the Hellsing ultimate Abridged, and another one was some unnamed goon in DBZA. It was one of the movies I can't remember, but they're discussing Earth and one of them says how; "that's stupid" when corrected on the pronunciation.
Toriyama had intended Androids 19 and 20 to be the androids Trunks had warned about, but then his editor complained about how they looked like a fat clown and an old geezer, so he had to change it to Androids 17 and 18. This would not be the last time Toriyama's editors complained about the villain design this arc
What were the other times did he complain and I have to agree with the editor on this I’m glad he complained cause we ended up getting 17 and 18 who are much better

Then when Toriyama created Cell, his next editor complained how Imperfect Cell looked ugly, so Toriyama rushed him into his Semi-Prefect form to which his editor said made him look like a idiot and told him to hurry up and make him into his Perfect form

I was watching episode 36 when I was a kid in summer camp. I busted out laughing at Vegeta and everyone thought it was weird.

Since you guys looked confused when Vegeta threw the dog treat at 19, I'll explain. Rember back on Namek that Vegeta would always throw a dog treat at Gildo to make fun of him and call him a dog. So now, it sorta turned into something Vegeta does every now and then whenever he beats an opponent or wants to make fun of them.
He does it to another android in the 13 movie too.

Lycanthromancer oh I don’t refute that. Mainly because I don’t know what the facts are. So if they say that I believe it. But I do know for sure. They get the ad revenue off of people reacting to their videos. Since I get the claim every video. I’ve asked other UA-camr’s and they say the same thing. I’ve been claimed by Toei on the regular Dbz videos but the abridged ones are from a third party on behalf of TFS. They also don’t respond to emails or tweets about this which sucks. I don’t mind them claiming my videos since it is their project. What I do mind is the lack of communication from them to the reactors and fan base. They make it known they don’t get paid from their videos but haven’t told anyone they get paid from anyone who reacts to it. I love the product and I love that the fans come here to watch it with us which is enough for me. But it makes me seem like an asshole whenever I correct someone who doesn’t know that they get reactors revenue. So it isn’t true that they get no ad revenue. I don’t want to make this a revenue conversation because I’m not reacting to this for the money. But I will always clear it up with anyone who speaks on it.

Thought i would tell you there are four abridge series that I think you might enjoy 3 of which are fairly obscure (Most start with somewhat poor Voice audio until they get better equipment)
1. Bleach S Abridged
2. yu yu hakusho abridged by Lanipator
3. One piece abridged by Uraby210incorporated ( The more popular one is None Piece but this one is great and it goes up to around the end of the Alabasta Arc so far, I absolutely love Ussop in this in particular,)
4. Inuyasha Abridged by WingmanCrewAbridging
Vegeta fighting 19 is easily the most badass moment in the whole series in my opinion

Vegeta's machine humor was on point in these episodes. Those one liners put so many high production movies to shame.
Best part with Vegeta turning SS part is its pretty much exactly same as what happen in the original just phrased more accurately lol. He basically threw a temper tantrum to become SS.
As far as I recall, it was a moment of clariy and acceptance that he will never surpass Goku that allowed him to transform.

11:17 this dbz track actually scared me when i was young. Back in the 90's with UGLY screeching sound on old tv. Now it's better with quality and bass but still have that uneasy feeling from back then. I don't understand why. probably because It played mostly in gory or scary moment.
