This makes no sense. The mother lets her child interrupt another kid's private birthday party, the mascot ignores her, but takes a picture with her afterwards, and then the mother wants to file a lawsuit for the mascot ignoring her daughter who wasn't even supposed to be there? That's very stupid.

She was upset that the mousy mascot wasn't high fiving her daughter and appeared to look right at her. He was high fiving the rest of the kids and seemed to pull his hand away when he saw the girl. They weren't interrupting, they were trying to participate.

That girl was not paid for to be in the private party. I worked at chuck e. Cheese for 3 years. I had to wear the suit. We had birthday groups, and when we had the shout out for a specific birthday group, we were supposed to only focus on that group. I also can confirm that it is VERY difficult to see out of the suit, i cant even tell you the amount of kids I, and the other employees, accidentally tripped over because we literally couldnt see them.The parents should have kept her back until the shout out was done anyways. Chuck E. also does walk arounds every hour as well where anyone can take photos with him.

I actually used to be a mascot for chuck e cheese, and they can only see out of the eye holes and if you tilt your head forward too much, the whole head falls off.
So that mascot really probably didn't even see her because she was too close. It's amazing how much stuff goes on so close to your body. In that costume and you can't even see it Happen

Former employee here, the reason why the mascot didn’t see your daughter is because he is in the middle of a birthday show. If you look closely every child from the birthday is lined up on stage. Birthday are extremely important, It’s not that he is ignoring your child, he is literally in the middle of what we call a “show”

And as a white person that has brought his chidren to chuckee cheese multiple times i can tell you the big dumb rat comes out to greeet EVERYONE, he isnt reserved for birthday partys. They have a birthday section where he will eventually make his way over to. Entitlement is a crazy thing, everyone pays to get in there not just the people that have birthday parties.

The mother is entitled. If there is a private gathering, it’s rude to expect your child to be able to participate. However, let’s say she didn’t know it was private. Then, that’s on the staff to intervene and say excuse me, this is a private party so we’d like to ask you to use the other parts of the facility.
I don't know how it can be a totally private party when they're asking for audience participation to wish the kids a happy birthday. It would have just taken him a second to give the little girl high five
Exactly My child just had a party at Chuck E Cheese and it was great other kids would come up to participate and It wasn't a problem because it was hard to tell who all was at party with 16kids from my party and 12 from the other birthday person

@@theredeyedjedi701 Not true. There was other kids that were eating there as well that was not part of the party but during the party they asked US ALL TO PARTICIPATE AND SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I know this because I was there & if you were there then you would know that. Stop speaking on things that you know nothing about.
