This dude has some pipes. Go see Loverboy live, it's hit after hit, you forget how many they had till you see them. Mike's voice has not changed a bit. A really entertaining band.
True Heart started in Vancouver after Nancy Wilson moved there to reunite with her boyfriend who fled the Vietnam war draft. Soon after she started a band & needed a singer she asked her sister Ann to move up too. They were based in Van city for 7 years playing with other locals Loverboy, Bryan Adams w/ Sweeney Todd, Trooper, Chilliwack, Prism.
I saw these guys back in the mid 2000’s maybe at the arts, beats, and eats in Pontiac, Michigan. They seriously kicked ass. I never saw them before in concert but I’ve heard their music on the radio. Not a bad band at all but it was a little bit soft in some sense. Not at that performance. They definitely played hard and heavy! Incredible performance that blew me away and I still rate as one of the best performances I’ve ever seen (which says a lot because I’ve seen bands like King’s X, social distortion, teena Marie, etc). On ‘take me to the top’, Even the group of rap guys wearing jerseys and sagging pants came over to all the rockers and everyone was head banging together, it was truly a sight to see.

Mike is so cool....always upbeat and friendly. He still sounds amazing...the whole band is still incredible (RIP Scott Smith).

"Gangs in the Street" is my favorite Loverboy song!

I sing that song every Friday. 😅
Na na na na, notorious!
Soo many first listening to your music lol
I think that without MTV, many bands like Loverboy would have went nowhere.
Peeps forget reno was in MOXY too!😜

Loverboy is touring with Foreigner this year.
That should be a great show, but I understand that it will for Foreigner's last concert tour.
I saw them open for Foreigner in 1982...along with Joan Jett and some others
That's an awesome card if 'Lou Gramm' & 'Mick Jones's are both there!
During late 90s seeing the band reno avoided headbands audience tried to hand him on stage!🤔
Jman
Got my ticket to see them open for Sammy Hagar in Nashville TN 08/2024.
Reno's belt and pants are screaming "Turn Me Loose".
