- Our continuing Trans European Trail adventure ride from the UK through France to the French/Spanish 🇫🇷 🇪🇸 Pyrenees were we travel along following the TET route.
Just to add that during our ride Steve on his 950 found things a little tough having not ridden his 950 very much on trails decided to jump on and off the trails using sections of the road
This looks like the Ozarks of Arkansas! 👍🏻♥️
Pyrenees are even more impressive off the beaten track. Fantastic

Yeah he was okay, he pulled his shoulder believe it or not dropping his bike on the road. He tried a couple of times to try and ride trail but his confidence was shot, funny thing is his got a 530 exc but decided to take the 950 🤷
Great video Pete. Do you have any more info on which section of the TET you were riding toward the end? I would like to see if its possible to include it in my trip to northern Spain next year. I'll be on a 690 too👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. The trail at the end is Andorra, the Pic Negre link off Section 17 of the Spanish TET a great trail to over 2000 metres high. The thing is now there's a toll booth that charges 25 euros to ride up it but if you've never rode it before it's well worth it it's pretty spectacular
Looks great Pete. How have you found the 690 enduro for the TET as a whole? Do you find it comfortable and reliable? I’m looking to get a more suitable off-road bike as I currently have a Tiger 1200 which will be far too big! I’ve got my eyes on the 690 so thought I’d ask your thoughts. Thanks, Nick

Before the 690 I had a 500 exc but that was too harsh for me and prior to that I had a GS 1200 which I rode on quite a few TET sections the 690 is a great compromise between the two I'm able to do the gnarly stuff if I encounter it without the huffing and puffing of trying to get the GS through. I'm now in (only just) my sixties so again the 690 is so much more manageable not as easy as the EXC but way more comfortable and much more civilized, the power parts seat improved things measurably. Having said all this if I were younger I may have opted for one of the modern middle weights. Hope this is of some help and thanks for taking the time to watch 👍🏻
