Awesome guys! Fun to se UK'ers on our trails and see your take on it. Wildcamp and windshelters. Cool to see a CCM on the trails. Long time i saw one, had a couple of fellow riders out there who had them. This bike was once a dreambike to me and i contacted CCM dirtectly since there was a struggle with possible dealeships at the time. I ended up with a 690 instead due to the dealership mess up here. Cliffhanger with the startermotor!
Looks like you've been having fun. Having issues with bikes on a trip like that is what makes for memories. Looking forward to future episodes of TET travels
28.00 - bliss ☺ I have two CCMs. Pride of ownership overpowers adversity every time (although I have retro-fitted a kick start to supplement the electric starter on the 404, just in case, y' know...). What a great video. With my pathetic off-road skill set I can nonetheless imagine being there. Wonderful.
A tip for if your starter goes out: Put another bike back tire to back tire with yours, put them on the center stand if you have one. Otherwise use a stump, log, rock or even your helmet to elevate the rear tire. Start the functioning bike and put in gear and give some revs to get about 10-20 kph (10 mph ish). Hold the clutch on your bike and put in 1st or 2nd gear and dump the clutch. Voilà, your bike is now started with minimal effort ☺
Technically offroad riding is not legal in Sweden and that is why you probably cant find a lot of technical sections on the Swedish part of the TET, need to classed as a road to be allowed to ride it with motor vehicle :/
@@kb5162 yes true still plenty of stuff to ride, it was just an explanation to why some single track technical tracks are probably hard to find in Sweden and ride legally. Plenty of small dirt roads that are still great though :D
Wanted also to go to Sweden. But as the weatherforecasts are showing. Many days with rain and cold weather ? How are you guys experiencing the weather ? Maybe in reallife it is completely different ? Nice vids guys. And beautifull sceneries. I can imagine why your buddy wants it to be a bit more technicall. You are with several people. So if one takes of and heads down a few hundreds of meters he has some friends to help him atleast. When you are alone you have to ride a little bit safer i guess. But i never manage to do that. Once i had such a crash in Sweden that it took me hours to get my bike bike on the track. And i was bruised and blue and red for several days. Could not even get out of my hammock at night to take a piss. So what i did was .....😁 Have fun.👍 Btw ? How are these shelters called ?
great video series guys! how long did it take you in all? what ferries did you get? I am cooking up a wee plan to do the Swedish TET this. any info is always insightfull. Cheers.
Beautiful ride. Thanks for sharing. Idaho here.😊
Great video! Safe riding also. My compliments for that. Thanks for sharing.

Really liked your driving, not wot. And the filming is great.
You picked the worse summer in many years to visit. But I guess you're used to a little rain, being British and all. 😉
Looks like a great trip. I hope the CCM stays the course.

Sadly the CCM saga continues in parts 2 & 3 of this video. (will be available to view later this week) Warning: It goes from bad to worse.

There are thousands of small dirt roads that are legal to drive on in Sweden!

Hello there, i really liked the video! This summer i'm going to Sweden too, what app did yoy guys use to find these shelters?
Sorry, I can't remember the name of the app. It was my friend Shiplo who had it on his phone and used it, so I never actually used it.

La verdad pensé que ivas a quedar ahí de por vida 😅 .... mucha suerte de que lo hayan arreglado
Actually, we are all very experienced mechanics, so it was going to get fixed, one way or another.
Are these little refuge huts all along the sweedish tet? Really enjoyable video dude..
Not specifically on the TET, but many very near it. See me followup video in which I discuss how we found them.

Hi Josh. See my video discussing the logistics of the trip. I think I cover all these questions there.
