- NO SUPERMAN AND HEISMAN POSING ALLOWED - PROVINCE MOTORCYCLE DRIVING VS CITY DRIVING #travel #entertainment #lifestyle #philippines
July 2nd 2024
After living in Angeles City for over eight years and riding my motorcycle around the city, I have to adapt to driving now in the province where we live. There are some big differences driving in the province compared to the city. In this video I go over a few of the differences.

Brian, I’m sure the pavement in the province is just as hard as it is in the city! Wear your helmet!
Your head your choice. I've been a licensed M/C rider since 1977. Wore a helmet from day 1. When a cager pulled out in front of me and I broke my back (repaired) in the rather bad wreck the helmet saved my life. Side note: I hit the pavement at 50mph and the Harley bagger I was on flipped 6 times. Counted the gouge marks on the asphalt.
You should pay more attention to what's going on around you then things like this wouldn't happen.
@@moderndaydrifter4672 Dude: I've been through 3 M/C safety courses. Been riding since 1977. The idiot who crossed my path and I HAD EYE CONTACT. Still pulled out in front of me from my left. I ride as safely as possible:without exception.World is full of moron drivers and I had the misfortune of crossing paths with one. My experience was what saved my life:trooper that investigated the wreck was shocked that I didn't T bone her and that i was walking around. Back was broke but I was in shock and didn't feel it too much.
Pity accidents happen , like to see what you would have done in that situation ..
Philly,
Keep the videos coming coming.🎥
I look forward to seeing your new Philippine Island 🌴 and province. 🌞
Nice...😄 Moto Vlog..🛵
Thumbs up Brother 👍🏼
Saw quite a few guys riding with no helmet back in my Paramedic days, even though the helmet law had already existed almost 10 years. We'd help the Medical Examiner bag the lucky ones. Their pain and suffering was over.
Nice moto-vlog, Brian, I'm liking where you moved to. Take good care of you and your family.
Its stupid to not wearing helmet, no matter what, accidents happen everywere. And the penalty is same there as in Angeles if LTO has a checkpoint. 1500 PHP first offense .
Beautiful blue sky 😄
Yes it was
Beautiful ride Brian and Lot, I'm all in on the Island living, love it!!!
Enjoy the beautiful day.
The sound quality is actually excellent.
Such a beautiful blue sky .. Thanks...
And the stars show at night.
*Thx4share interesting content with great Videography Philly* 👍 🇵🇭 🇺🇲
As you said a dog could jump in front of your mc. at any time. All the more reason to wear head protection.
I always recommend full face helmet. Your head tho. Classmate of mine, his brother had just turned 20, got a bike and used the old style open faced Hemet. He was hit from behind and hit the pavement face first. It looked like his face was mitered at 45 degree angle. Everything gone, nose, teeth, tongue, chin. So yeah I wore them. Even in AZ heat. Especially here, it's a level of carelessness above comprehension.
Damn I would never ride a motorbike without a helmet. You never know what might pop out at you, that's why they call them accidents.
Dude, put your helmet on. Don't want to see you eating from a straw
I like your moto vlogs Brian, and you even brought your biker babe with you this time !!!
Brian.... you should do a air bnb .... cloud 9 surfing 🏄 area is near you.... alot of Americans and westerners from the world surfing community go there
You could even be a tour guide... I bet you would make a lot of money 👏💰👌
'" Brother Brian Kerver, " And just to let you know,And your/our yearly Philippine monsoon rainy seasons always starts in the month of June all the way to the month of October,as far as I know. And your/our scenic, lush and interesting Siargao island looks very tranquil environment there. And God Bless and take care always!!!
Thanks for the info
@@PhillyinthePhilippines and you're very welcome!!!
Beautiful country. A far cry from Angeles.
Angeles and Olongapo are one thing on a trike...
In an isolated place like that with faster speeds and a lot of fast moving cars and trucks I would only travel by car... especially since the local trauma center might not be the best. I am definitely buying a car if I lived there.
Thank you for sharing. Love all your videos
Glad you like them!
Hi Buddy, hope all is well with the move. Thanks for sharing another great video. So beautiful on the ride along. With cocoanut trees etc.
Audio and visual was working great, Philly. Thanks for taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed it
I think you more have a monsoon season there than the Rainy Season in Luzon. Monsoon is where the rain is like clockwork around 4 p.m. for an hour then stops leaving a nice cool climate. Keep the vids coming, I am enjoying them.
We don't wear helmets in Texas either. Nice bike ride. You seem less stressed out. Happy for you!
I am enjoying the province life 😊 you look more relaxed Brian. Do they have Ceres buses in your area
No wearing helmets I guess. From the way I see people drive there I would wear a helmet. A lot more resistant then a skull.
Very nice I'll try to keep up with the videos 😅
Great moto vlog....The one thing I really noticed, was how incredibly blue the sky was.....like a just crazy blue...really amazing clear sky on the road....that was really nice. When are you going to "spill the beans" on the AC vlogger thing you were talking about....I still didn't know what that was about or just click bait...
Nice no pollution. Love the clear skies!
❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍
Rainy wet season in the Philippines from June - November dry season is from December - May
They have been lucky weather wise😊
Brian, To me these are everyday life vlogs now from you. I like it and look forward to more.
Awesome, thank you!
Happy to see you're enjoying your new environment I had to come back to the United States for an operation but I will be back soon
I won't get on a motorbike without wearing a helmet because I don't want to take that chance of getting head trauma should something happens . Once something happens you can't turn the clock back but for those who don't care about your safety or just want to ride without a helmet more power to you.
Philly is now a provincial guy; hopefully he won't be like the rest who are missing their four front teeth.
I knew he was dumb but not that dumb.
Brian, another great vlog...FYI, the zoo on Philly made the news today. It's turning 150 years old in July. America's 1st zoo...
Wow, that's so cool.
Very nice motorvlog Brian thanks for sharing take care
Thanks 👍
Very good video , very nice motorbike your ,thanks Brian.
Siargao is a beautiful Island to ride on. I loved to go to Pacifico before much of it was wiped out during the typhoon sadly. But when I was there in October 22 they were starting to build it back. Of course you have been by the Coconut Trees View Deck on the way to Pacifico.
Great place to live good move I'm sure the people live longer in the province compared to the big cities
Everyone tells me rainy season starts in June here in Mindanao...haha yes the horn is a popular thing in the province
I think that even I could drive there, Brian. I keep it to a minimum around Angeles. I drove an e-bike there last time. Beautiful scenery!
Province driving is more relaxing then in the city.
Where I drive in the Cebu province, they say the dogs are the traffic enforcers.
Nice Vlog! Thanks Brian!
Thanks for watching!
Great ride Brian 👌🏻 nice roads and a cool swimming pool. You sound a lot better in yourself and relaxed Enjoyed the show on the road 😊 👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Thanks for sharing! Nice to see how it looks down there and how it is to ride a motorbike in the area. So make more vlogs like this.
More to come!
Drivers sometimes forget their speed when the road is open. I drove 100 mph like 5 minutes in California freeway until I looked at the speedometer.
Hey Brian another great vlog.
Thanks 👍
Thanks for video Brian !!!
Thanks for watching!
I wear a white open face helmet in Philippines. A full face is too hot. It is riskier for me to drive with my brain cooked by the heat, than it is with no helmet at all.
A good, modern, full face helmet is actually many times cooler to wear than an open face since the ventilation channels forces air into it to cool it. You should shop around a bit and try some better helmets out. I rock a Schuberth flip open helmet that i can have open in the front some times in the city, at low speeds.
Great video, brother Brian.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow brian your taking some heat for not wearing a brain bucket. I bet 95% if these people have never been on 2 wheels before. Take care and enjoy the ride.
Pennsylvania had helmet option. I rode for years with a no helmet.
Seen a guy we were riding with go down at about 10 to 15 mph and was 😢.!!! But if no helmet law it's your head your life. 😊
Enjoy the dain bramage.
I have been riding for over 35 years. I would NEVER ride without helmet, i have seen too much....
@@RiderOftheNorth1968 I knew a highway patrol guy who took the accident photos. The photos will never leave my mind.
Great motovlog, Brian. Thanks for showing us around a little bit. "Superman pose" "Heisman pose" funny stuff, but accurate. Hahaha
Glad you enjoyed it
@@PhillyinthePhilippines Always.
There is better for your family, why were you hanging in the red light district for so long
2:12 I like the Double View! Picture in Picture!
Get a helmet on your noggin Phill unless your head is hard as the concrete road. Aside from that l enjoy your videos love the spring l would be in there myself. Your voice is nice to listen too some day wife and l will move to philippines.
Hi Brian I Love Your Moto-Vlogs, Beautiful Country, Are You Going To The Resort Areas Sometime? Your Family Made A Great Choice In Moving There, What More Could You Ask For, Is There Apartments On The Beach There? So Exciting, Made Your Channel Great Again! LOL! Thank You!
Island life is good if you have a steady souce of income and in good health, because there’s little to no jobs on siargao island and all the best hospitals are in big cities
Brian, please wear a helmet ! You can't afford to sustain any more brain damage ! 😜🤣
LOL 😂 you get first prize for funniest comment LOL
Come on really.Anyone that has spent time in the Philippines knows that 20 pesos goes in the Mayors pocket.
Good video Mark
Some point for wearing a helmet with face shield/protection, exept headprotecting: Less windnoise, wind protection for eyes, dust protection for eyes and breathing, some level of sun protection, rainprotection for glorious hairdoos. I can make the list longer but my point is: There is NO valid reason to not wear a helmet. All reasons i have heared for no helmet have been childish, uneducated or both.
Use your head or loose it!
its the monsoon season now
Is that the new jungle look, Philly 😂😢😮😅
I've seen probably over a hundred videos of Siargao island, and know I will be seeing some more, so I can't believe that there is a beautiful natural community pool or pond there. I believe that thing is one of the most rare and wonderful things to be available in any place that has a community, just to relax and maybe connect or socialize with some people, or maybe just do some laundry.
A place like that should never be a place for tourism, although everybody is welcome but NO wild parties. More importantly, anyone going there must respect the place, and respect and treat any and all other people in there as your equal, otherwise and the authorities or the owner of the property will close it to the public. It happens and have happened to places like this which is why we almost never see places like this nowadays.
Best couple vlogger; there is this other Dumagete couple vloggers who are pointing their cameras at each other.
I truly enjoy their shows.
More interesting things to see in the province like your videos enjoying your videos
Glad you like them!
Wear a proper full-face helmet....
Good fishing where you are been there..
This comment applies to your past 2 videos. No of course you guys didn’t make the wrong decision, you made the BEST decision but you’re just in the rough phase. Secondly, I wonder if you guys will still take trips to Puerto Galera, surely there has to be some good diving nearby to Siargao and Gen Luna. Wow what beautiful weather and scenery you guys are enjoying in the video!
I think it is December where you're at according to my wife anyway lol
Philly, They Are Redoing The Street And Sidewalks On Walking Street.
A never ending project.
Nice trucks at the end
Nice ride like it a bunch..Hows the leg doing?
Healing up
amazing sooo blue sky is
😎😎😎😎😎
You're looking a lot better lately. You were pretty haggard about the time your truck showed up. You're looking way better now. Less than 3 weeks until I move to my house in the north Bohol province. First thing I'm buying is an ADV 160. The province roads up where I live are beautiful with no traffic or police. :) What's your camera setup on your bike?
Go Pro 10 and DJI Action 2
Rode wireless mic
1080 60 fps
Good evening Bryan
omg No Helmet running 60kph 😱
brian i think you need some glasses right after you said no one where helmets i had seen like over 10 people where helmets after you had said that on scooters all ready.
Ride like the wind brother. Ride like the wind. Happy 4th of July to you and your subscribers. How will you celebrate American Independence Day in the province?
No celebration for me. I did however play the star spangled banner this morning when I woke up. 🇺🇲👍🇺🇲
Call me crazy and I might be but look at the billboard and read the sustainability statement. I have no clue what that word salad means? Is Kamala there?
End of the video....
Why is gas more expensive because it's an island. All of the Philippines is comprised of thousands of islands. Just sayin
7107❤🎉😅
@@johnyvik7242
7,600 something
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist why you need to wear a helmet regardless where you are!
Living in Angeles City is much better than the island because it is very boring.
be careful out there
Great moto vlog brian love seeing different places along the way and it is great.fully enjoyed.
🌴🇵🇭 scott expat in the Philippines

Should probably have signs up.. No laundry . Swimmers only . Nice getting a mouth full of Tide Detergent in There.. A toll road tax.. lol
here he comes, here comes Speed Racer lol 37kph
Superman/Heisman pose ?? Watched many Superman shows and even the movies and Heisman trophy awards but have never seen that hand out like that ?
No? Ever look at the trophy?
@@danp1043 Your right about the trophy, never paid attention to it but i was talking about the recipient...
@@user-xv6rz9oq4y Did Brian talk about any of the recipients or did he say the "Heisman Trophy"?
Great to get Mad Max out the first wife of Phils... Lot you know she always Jelly of Maxien,, lol
I just got off the phone with ABC.
He want to visit your private beach?
Ha ha 😎
4k
I will start doing 4k videos soon
Philly, I heard the word coconut 🥥 and thought you need to wear your helmet. F around and find out cool
BRIAN, YOU BE back to angeles, home will always be home, lol
Please don't ever come back to Angeles City!
So they wash their clothes in the same water where they swim??? Ugh.
Anyway, enjoyed your video, Brian.
Take care.
No it's down flow from the main pool as you see the the water replenish itself due to the spring and tides
You don't need a helmet because their hospital system is superb. And they have an excelllent neurological trauma team. Several new air ambulances.
Don't forget medivac choppers
