Cleared Hot is a nostalgic helicopter shooter game with satisfying physics and light tactical elements. Shoot, dodge, move your squad around the battlefield, and pick up almost anything with your rope and magnet.
Wow, I just want to say thank you for all the support!! Cleared Hot is inspired by all my fav games from childhood-to see it resonate w this many people is... totally insane, and hard to believe.
If you want to help me and the team out, you can Wishlist the game on Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/1710820/Cleared_Hot/
and I guess subscribe? I'm new to this youtube thing 😂

Brings me right back to Christmas 199x!
YES!!!! Thunder & Desert Strike Born Again Hard!!!
Thanks dude!!! Great call bringing this legend of an OG game back!!!
Thank you Colin!! You’re the best bro
@@HomeslicedVideosSame here!! Best of times.
Anyone remember Airwolf the TV series back in the day? 😅
This was so good!!!
Jungle/Desert Strike reborn??? Hell yes!! Cannot wait to pick this up!
my first thought when i saw the thumbnail. maybe i'll get past the second mission this time
Honestly it looks like a poor man's version of Jungle Strike but time will tell.
With this comment you have awoken a locked memory for me. Thank you
Likely most of the people wouldnt know that is coming from 1993
Broooooooooooo..........
I'm 40. You made this for me, yeah?
Made it for us 💪🏼🙌🏼
Nearly 60, Desert Strike vet here. 😁Can't wait to try this out.
@@Teeb2023 🙌
@@Teeb2023 Desert Strike or Operation Desert Strike?
@@n_tas Dezzy Strike on the Amiga
The corny speeches, the retrowave and Desert Strike flashbacks instantly made me smile!
I'm glad !
Yeah, plus the name “desert mike” is an allusion to it….
I'm 49 and this just pushed all my buttons.. this is glorious. The voice..the lines..this is gold. Well done.
I love that the narration is literally a reference to how long it's been since Desert Strike / Jungle Strike on SNES. Man I rented those two from Blockbuster so many times...
Makes me think of Seek and Destroy (1993)
I can still picture that mega drive case sitting on that blockbuster shelf.
This game looks like it’s nailed the simple fun of those games, I’m definitely looking forward to this.
I'm almost 41, started gaming around 7 and stopped around 35. This is the kind of thing that would get me to game again.
Come back, I'm 43 and I feel like gaming is in a renaissance right now as graphics are still fantastic but old school gameplay has made a comeback.
"After a thirty year time out." About how long it's been since the 'Strike' games.
Guy even sounds like he's aged right in line with that old franchise. Perfect fit.
I knew exactly what he was referencing and it was painful to hear. It's really been that goddamn long. Even if you count future cop, that's still 27 years
Love the tongue in cheek humour and the callback to Desert Strike.
Satirical and fun? Sign me up.
Amazing, I really love when games don't take themselves too serious, the game tone is on point and looks really fun too
yeah, it's got the half clumsy, half serious tone, without being disney levels of stupid.
Actuallu it is disney level stulid what are you talking about@@GameFuMaster
Hell yeah! Jungle Strike vet here. My first game on Sega Genesis. This game will rock!
Midlife crisis after a 30 year hiatus means he was flying the original chopper at 10.
Mid life crises are usually around 50 when the kids leave home
That is why he is the best.
"After a 30 year hiatus" so if he was flying in his 20s he'd be in his 50s now
I mean, I was probably around 10 years old when I played the game this is CLEARLY inspired by. I am hyped.
I have to wonder if it's a refference to the Strike series?
I think it would be around that time when Future Cop L.A.P.D. came out. It was early on know as Future Strike, but after that game there were no games.
Perhaps it's that...
My dad would have loved this game. Thank you for making what im sure is going to bring back many memories of the Strike series.
Yes! Ive been longing for a jungle / desert strike style game. Wishlisted!
I'm glad to see games like this be created. I've been craving a game like the Strikes.
As for me Urban Strike is ok. And there is Red Zone. Both on Sega Genesis.
I played so much Nuclear Strike as a kid. I didn't know how much I needed to relive those days until now... Brings a tear to my eyes and a new game on my Steam wishlist.
Nuclear strike on PS1. Can vividly remember getting this for christmas. Happier times for sure. Wish listed!
Ever play Soviet strike?
@@matthewrezuke8130 Unfortunately not. I was just a poor kid in the 90s sifting through my uncles' old PC and disk collection at the time. It was a hidden gem among all the knicker knackery. I'd love to get around to trying the whole series but I'm not sure how I could, outside of splurging money on eBay.
Me too! My uncle had it and I played the fuck out of it. I cannot wait for this game
Get an emulator, download Jungle Strike, Desert Strike, Urban Strike, Soviet Strike, and Nuclear Strike. Awesome games.
As someone who grew up playing Desert, Jungle, and Urban strike, I couldn't wishlist this fast enough!
This unlocked some 25 year old memories of playing Desert Strike on the Gameboy and this is looking pretty good so far. Consider it wishlisted.
Thank you!
Desert Strike on Gameboy? That would have been an odd sight..
@@krashd It ported across suprisingly well! I played it on PC first but remember the Gameboy version being pretty good.
I still have it. 😊
As someone that grew up with the Army Men series and LOVED the hell out of Air Attack 1 and 2, this is a nice trip down memory lane. wishlisted.
I also liked the army men games ! Played on n64
Chopper games.... I played Raid on Bungling Bay, Choplifter, Fort Apocalypse, Armor Alley... and now they're pulling me back in.
Glorious.
I cannot tell you how many times I have beaten Raid on Bungling Bay. What a great game it was.
Armor Alley, one of my favorites.
I still have the Choplifter theme song stuck in my head after 30 years
Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, Nuclear Strike, Cleared Hot?! Hell yeah! Can't wait for it !!!
Don't forget Urban & Soviet Strike
Didn't think love for the Strike series still existed, but this is awesome. I loved those games as a kid and played so much Desert Strike. What a cool tribute to that series.
the strike games were great. It's a genre that should never have been set aside. Great replayability, arcade style or campaign style games.
Still exists, had the trilogy on Genesis and miss those times for sure
I have been looking for decades, and now I have found. I need this in my life.
Oh man! I played Desert Strike for hours on the Sega Genesis as a kid. So cool seeing it come back!
me too!!!!! Amazing!
I wishlisted this before the trailer was even over.
Desert strike drove me INSANE as a kid, looks great.
Return Fire has RETURNED BABY!
my childhood is calling and im picking up the phone real fuckin quick.
careful, that arthiritis might kick in if you yank that hand too fast
I grew up on the Strike games. Can't believe it's taken this long to get a spiritual successor.
This somehow reminds me of the Army Men Air Attack games on PS1 !
can't wait....already added to wish list.
thank you so much for making this nostalgic call back.
You just opened up a whole can of nostalgia. Sharing with buddies!
This reminds me of the old Army Men Air Attack games on PS1 !
Reminds me of Urban Strike, Desert Strike, et al. Used to love those games on Sega Genesis. The whole Strike series was great, would love a comeback of that, but this looks fun too.
I am going to relive my childhood with this one!
I have never been so excited and full of emotions to see this back to life! I had (and still have my original copies!) Jungle, Desert, and Urban Strike growing up as a kid and loved them! They were one of the very first games that got me into gaming when i was 6/8 years old, not knowing what actually to do and just blowing up everything and trying to rescue people lol I am so happy to see this come back. Thank you Cfinger Games! I hope you bring more of these niche games back to life! Looking forward to seeing what comes of this and hopefully other games!
Thank you! Comments like this are awesome to read. I also played it around 7 or 8 years old, on my neighbors sega genesis. It was quite hard at that age, lol
Awesome! I loved Desert/Jungle/Urban Strike. Wishlisted!
Holy hell this looks incredible! Loving the night and night-vision additions, can't wait!
Between this and Megacopter, it seems like this genre's getting a comeback.
Saw this on Reddit- haven't thought about the inspiration for this game in decades. Good stuff!
This game is what happens when Airwolf is piloted by Matthew McConaughey
He's washed up garbage trying to get attention in Ukraine.
i so hope i can add an airwolf skin
We had a malfunction with the tail rotor so now I can only turn all right all right all right.
39 - I actually get to say I'm a bit younger than most folks here for once lol but the OG strike trilogy was my childhood! Wishlisted, will instabuy, will instabuy 2 extra copies for my brothers too. Thank you, You have NO idea what you are doing for our worn out gamer generation!!!! I NEVER get hyped for games any more until I saw this!!!!!
Hell yeah !! This is how I felt making the trailer.
AHHHHHH! A strike style game! I didnt know how much I missed these until now!
Desert strike and Jungle strike were absolutely incredible, I will happily pay for this
The Strike series of games are incredibly underrated and were my favorite as a kid.
Underrated? They all got 90%+ in games reviews at the time..
@@garethjohnstone9282 They weren’t the most popular games at the time. Relax.
@davidlandrum You said underrated, not unpopular. And on what basis do you claim they weren't very popular?
I loved them, all my friends loved them, most people on the Internet who had a console in the 90s remember and love the strike games.
"Desert Strike was an immediate commercial success, going straight to the top of sales charts. The game remained a top-10 best seller for months after its release, and was AT THE TIME ELECTRONIC ARTS' HIGHEST SELLING GAME"
Just because you used the wrong word to express an (incorrect) belief about it's popularity, don't get sassy with me.
Aaaand relax.
@@garethjohnstone9282 Cool story. 👍🏻
@@davidlandrum True story.
As a Lubbockian I will definitely be getting this. West Texas needs more love
Who knew Matthew McConaughey was so good at piloting helicopters?
he's alright
He's washed up garbage trying to get attention in Ukraine.
@@TheEvilCheesecake 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ahaha I will share this with our voice actor
@@cfingergamesI'm surprised it wasn't intentional! McConaughey is actually from West Texas.
Renegade Ops is similar but with land and air, I've been playing it for about 10 years, still awesome.
It's super cool that they're still making games for the Super Nintendo.
Yup. I can't wait.
Thank you so much you unlocked a memory of playing the strike games on PS1 I forgot about them. Definitely picking this up. Hope it releases this year!
After all these years this sure hits the nostalgia
As soon as I saw the grappling hook come out I was sold. I haven't played this kind of game since the mid 90s.
it's been far too long, I loved Cobra Command, Desert/Jungle/Urban Strike, then Nuclear/Soviet, Comanche and on and on... so many great helicopter games back then and all of them now are either low effort or extreme detail indie titles, this looks great right down the middle fun, can't wait!
For me nuclear strike and Soviet was peak
I had two of the strike games but nuclear strike was my favorite one. I remember using a code or some cheat to get to use a harrier jet
@@danielmisenhelter yeh the cheat codes in those games where great
OMG, yes!
Dust came out of my brain. One of the best games I played on the Genesis. The feel and control was so unique and wonderful. I loved that game immediately.
Now I get to relive it!
And what a killer trailer. Hilarious, cool, and nostalgic all together.
You got my vote!
Reminds of that Army Men helicopter game, with the little toy green and tan dudes. Awesome.
Air strike and air combat.
this looks so much fun. the physics based helicopter gameplay looks awesome. instant wishlist
Extra corny jungle/desert strike. Love it.
30+ years, thanks for making us feel old :D
Hahah I know, same here.
"THIS IS PEQUOD, ARRIVING SHORTLY AT LZ! THIS IS PEQUOD, I'VE ARRIVED AT MARKER!"
I was actually thinking of making this game in my spare time but this is perfect! Wishlisted, can't wait to play.
Megacopter? Now this? Whats goin on here?
Desert Mike... I have seen this trailer at least 6 times and only now did I get the pun!
LMAO! 🤣
Me and my fellow Attack Helicopters appreciate you releasing this for Pride Month. 🎉
I'm getting those "Army Men: Air Attack" flashbacks from the PlayStation 1!
It's been a long time since I flew a helicopter, I was but a Child Soldier back then.
But I think I have enough time to change my career path to fly a helicopter one last time for a good cause!
"No one protects a teddy bear floating in the water from battleships better than me." - Me.
Midlife Strike
LOL is it too late to rename the game?
Man, this brings me back to the old top down helicopter games I played on my mom’s hp desktop as a kid. Looks great!
Ok I'm showing my age here! but this brought back memories of playing choplifter back in 82. Everything about this looks AWESOME!!! I can't wait for full release of this game!
'Mid Life Opportunity'. My favourite catch phrase for the next 20 years.
I'm glad to see helicopter games making a comeback.
Man, i remembered jungle and desert strike. You rescue people and those people gives different buffs. You can also operate different vehicles.
I'd say that sound track gives him more like forty years of R&R--I just hope his flight suit is pastel!!!
Brilliant looking game. Brings back memories of playing 'Sidewinder' on an Atari 8Bit in late autumn 1987.
Thank for this. You allow me to share one of my greatest passion when I was a kid with my son, and this is just priceless.
Wow that's really awesome. Thanks for commenting!
Right in the nostalgia! The strike series were one of my weekly rentals from blockbuster when i was a kid playing my Sega Genesis, I wishlisted this so i can grab it when it releases!
I can't wait to be that guy again! Get in that Chopper and have fun like i did back in the 90's!
Heck yeah! Desert Strike was my favorite game growing up. Can't wait.
I had forgotten all about this game! But now I remember spending endless hours playing it over and over.
I'm 45 and this game looks like a lot of fun. Seems like this game really resonates with us older folk. 🙂
Oh man, this reminds me of Return Fire back in the day. Good times!
wow this really brings back memories playing chopper command with my brother as a kid. hope this ends up being fun. looks great! wishlisted!
Desert Strike and Choplifter ate up a lot of my time (and quarters for the latter)...great times
I can't remember much of my childhood, but Oooooooh boy, this is bringing back some good memories!
The "fly this bird" pun at 0:52.
Just incredible work.
Hell yeah, Son!, this is the kind of "Nostalgia with a pinch o' salt" stuff we NEED!, nicely done...
so many people here 80s and 90s kids with fond memories of desert strike! i'm glad none of us are growing up anymore. fuck growing up!
Growing up is over
Oh my God it has been 30 years! Desert Strikes opening is the raddest thing you've ever seen.
sic, takes me back 30 years too
Wow finally a new Strike game in 2024. Never thought I'd see the day. Awesome!
This takes me back to the countless hours I’d spend playing Return Fire. So excited for this.
this looks wildly charming and fun lol
thanks algo for recommend, thanks devs for making something that just oozes "I/we really wanted to make THIS"
you can absolutely feel it when something is made from a place of passion. look forward to grabbing a copy! Best of luck with development, liked & subbed & all that!
When I saw the thumbnail I thought someone was making a 3D Choplifter, but I'm glad to see it looks like it will be a bit more exciting!
Yes. Used to love desert strike. Also, zeewolf on the amiga. This looks like an updated version of both!. Nice
I was just thinking about knocking the dust off of my PS3 so I could play Soviet Strike again. I went on the UA-cam’s to soak up some nostalgia when I stumbled upon this little gem of a video. I feel like this game was made specifically for my inner child.
Man..... Desert strike was amazing back in the day! So simple yet satisfying! Look forward to this :D
Man the moment I saw the helicopter start to crash and the sound brought me right back to Desert Strike return to Gulf on the SNES…god I’m old 😊
I used play desert strike with my dad back in 93 on the Amiga. Time moves fast man he was the age I am now back then. still about though so I’m gonna bring this one round to his see if he still likes it in his 70’s.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! SOMEONE FINALLY DID IT, THIS IS HOW YOU HONOR CLASSIC GAMES!! OMG OMG, I CANNOT WAIT!!
*Reminds me of the good ole days playing Raid on Bungeling Bay on the Commodore 64* . Nice trailer!
🚁
I had so much fun playing games like Commanche 4 and Thunder Wolves way back, this looks STRAIGHT up my alley!
Mega Drive memories come flooding back this was one of my favourite games growing up.
Loved the trailer. Reminds me so much of playing desert strike as a kid. Awesome work 👏
I remember Tiger Heli, was an amazing game. this will bring back memories
Freaking loved the Sega Genesis versions of Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, and Urban Strike! I switched to PC gaming and never got the 32-bit era games, Soviet Strike and Nuclear Strike
