Just got the UNI and pre filter for my CForce 600. Seems like a must for the dusty sandy trails when it's dry in the summer here in Michigan.

they are pricy but they are great filters and they are guarenteed to last 5 years i have some that are older then that lol great video.

I just bought the same exact filter and cover for $56 on Amazon. The filter was like $36 and the cover is $20.
Don't need to oil the inside layer just the outside. Don't need the prefilter either, there's one on the end of the intake pipe from factory
Seems to me if you just oiled the pre foam filter on the paper filter, then put the screen mesh pre-filter on and it would serve the same purpose as the uni filter without using half a quart of oil and save yourself some money. Plus all that oil is just cutting down on the airflow and any excess oil is getting sucked into the intake.

I’m going to Use the original filter for now I know you can spray the foam that goes on the original filter and then I’m gonna put that protective cover/screen mesh over top. I did order a Uni filter off Amazon purchase for $41.94 with tax(CAD) I couldn’t believe the price came in it’s the right one. I’m gonna order a spare. Keep the original as a back up filter
Definitely going to pick 1 up for the spring. Haven't even looked at the filter yet but I'm sure its the same cheap crap. Need to save up some money first trying to get over the Freight charge. Doesn't matter how much I shower I still feel dirty.

Like your videos I also have a cfmoto Z 800 I also live in northern Ont. Just wondering why you didn't check the air intake between the seats, it also has a mesh over it that needs to be cleaned Claude.

Be careful with that oil. I know running K and n filters before if you over oil it you’ll suck the oil past the filter into your throttlebody and then you’ll have to clean out your throttlebody

Hey buddy, u definetly wil have some dry spots!! U need to oil it by spraying in a row overlapping and then up and down. That wasnt a good application at all. Then u need to massage into the foam to get proper penetration. And an outerware will swell with any chemical on it, and they will not flow! Ive seen it! Good video though!

Yes that is the correct filter. Model # UP-6229AST. Yes I'm not sure why my invoice is showing $71. I have to check into that. Darn it! lol . Thanks for watching and glad you are enjoying your zforce!!

when I looked it up came up with nu- 8703st like my uforce600 hard to find real answeres on the right filter

It's just like the prefilter. You can wash it and rinse it. Let it dry and replace.
