I drilled a few holes in that tube and put a K&N-Filter into it. I don´t have a lot of dust on my most driven roads and trails - it feels great on the throttle !!! 😎
Thanks for the videos, they are very helpful. After you cutout the air box did it make the machine run leaner? and if it does is it detrimental the engine?
Thanks in advance
No it won’t. The computer adjusts for it. If it was a carb machine then yes it would.
@@R.N.GPerformance Thank you, I didn't think so either.
Hey Redneck Garage, are there any long-term effects by cutting out the air box/ and putting in a UNI air filter?
Showing some love from Minnesota!! Cheers
No. You will only benefit from it. Your engine will breath better and the uni will keep out what the stock filter don’t.
From Mn also, Gage. Where do you ride?
@@adampecore6917 I’m from the Iron Range, riding all over the place from the OHV park here in Gilbert Mn, too some of the local trails! Cheers buddy!
@@gageeverson2765 I’d like to get up to that that Range area.
I’m in Cloquet. Just got back the other day from riding a Nemadji.
@@adampecore6917 Awesome! Got some great trails and an Off-road Park up here. Let me know if you ever make the trip up 👍
Cheers brotha
Sir, I according to uni you don’t oil the actual filter. Just the shroud lol.
hi there i am ready to modified my air box as you suggest ... i need your advise about exhaust or muffler... i need to increase my power in hi revs and speed ... its a cf625 touring 2023..thanks
Greetings from Romania,
I have a 450l euro 5. Is it ok to tune the air box cover and delete de cat?
Do i need a ecu tune after or it-s ok ?
Tank you and have a nice day!
Your thumb nail says 6229st not 6229 ast , bought the wrong one lol.
You can definitely tell you have been having a lot of fun with it brother
Yes sir. Loving this thing.
Watching your videos I can tell. Sorry I missed you last week, I didn't get back in town until late Saturday.
That’s alright bro 😎 gotta do what ya gotta do. Us working guys u know 😊
Pretty much!! This weekend I have to do a celebrity football/basketball game in Willoughby. Redline radio and lexx Vegas asked me to come but we will get to hangout soon brother.
@@thatguydub_ heck yeah man hope you have a great time. Yes for sure bro.
That’s some good info. Are you going to do a clutch kit video?
Thank you. Yes I am. In fact doing one today.
Thanks brother I appreciate it I have the same machine
Your welcome 🙏
Does cutting the tube from the cap affect the ATV in any way?
What would you do to a Suzuki king quad for the air intake
I would need to see it. I haven’t messed with Suzuki since the 90s
I thought someone was mowing my grass for a minute
😂 😂
What was the part # again for the uni filter?
I don’t even remember haha. I’ll be honest I started using the CRV filter wich I do sell on my website www.rngperformance.net
I've been wanting to do this for a while now on my 600 just nervous about the Warranty. But like with any Warranty probably not worth the paper it's written on anyway.
CFMOTO takes good care of their warranty claims. Man they warranty my rear diff on my sxs I was 6 months out of warranty and my machine was modded to the hilt no questions asked they covered it and I didn’t even expect them to.
I wouldn’t do it, you’ll never feel any power difference. I have a new 22 outland 850 and I’m keeping it stock.
@@TwinTurboToyota this is a false statement
@@R.N.GPerformance lol I did it yesterday gust waiting on my clutch kit now should be here any day. It seems to have given it a little more pep to it's step but the clutch should make a big difference.
It definitely will. I am editing a video on what all I did to my clutch so everyone knows. We filmed today just gotta edit tomorrow
whats funny to me is theres so much oil on the filter its a wonder it even sucks any air threw it let alone any dust
Yeah that’s how these filters filter dirt with the oil. And yet they still breath better and shed water better then paper filter.
Seems that this mod would really improve throttle response.
It does. Allot.
@@R.N.GPerformance Awesome, I'm gonna try this on my 600 touring.
@@rzl07375 Hello do yuo tray do its Sam difrens 😊

I did the same on my 600. I wonder will water go on the filter now?
Yes it can.
Hi! Can i order from your website to Europe?
I’m not sure buddy honestly. You can try no harm in that.
Did you have to tune yours after the intake mod ?
Would you feel any difference if you only add the uni filter and not cut the intake cover ?
No tune necessary for minor mods. No you won’t feel a difference but your engine will live longer with a uni and I sell uni on my website www.rngperformance.net
Tune not necessary but you recommend it ?
@@cleanproservices7111 absolutely I do.
Concerned about how much backfiring and popping will happen without the tune. Any advice is appreciated.
