We are using CFMOTO brand motor oil that comes in the CFMOTO engine oil change kit. The kit consists of 4 litres of 4 stroke engine oil, oil filter, O-Ring and gasket for the drain plug. We are using a 5W40 synthetic engine oil which is for our climate here in eastern Ontario, Canada.
We just put on 402 kilometers on our 2021 CFMOTO ZForce 800 EX and it's time to do the first CFMOTO oil change. If you have never did your own CFMOTO ZForce oil change, I hope this video helps you and saves you money!

You should look into a Fumoto or Femco drain plug replacement valve. Makes oil changes so much easier and no messes.

I got a zforce just like yours and I have watched all of you videos and learned a lot about the zforce. I don't have a complaint on this video. As I just did my first oil change. You didn't mention anything about removing the dip stick TUBE. It took me an hour of swapping hoses and funnels.
Plus spilled a half of quart. Although I still enjoy your videos and will continue watching but try not to leave out the little details for us newbees.
Thanks for watching! I'm not sure what you mean removing the dipstick tube. My zforce doesnt have a dipstick tube ?? I bought a long funnel, stuck it in the hole where the oil goes and added the oil.
Another great video. I went up to Hastings Marine today to take a look at the zforce 950 sport. Nice looking machine. They're supposed to get back to me on Monday or Tuesday with some trade in numbers and other details so fingers crossed 🤞. Yes, I met with him today. I mentioned that I just started watching your videos and subscribed to your channel. A friend of mine bought a cfmoto zforce 950 sport from them about a month ago and said they were great to deal with. It'll all depend on what they offer me for my trade in. 🤞

What size is the drain plug
When going these oil changes, it's important to use your wife's favorite t shirt instead of a rag so you can have the couch to yourself for a few days. This is a high tech pro tip!

The dipstick hidden behind plastic is asking for trouble. A sight glass would be nice, but at least make the dipstick convenient to reach so I can easily check it before I take it out for the day!

Might be stupid to say but I just got a 2021 and there is a funnel and tube under the drivers seat.
Everyone keeps telling me they got a funnel with their side by side. I picked up one the other day for $4.
Most machines come with the proper funnel. Mine did

I have just over 400k on my zforce 1000. What all did you do for a first service? Oil, filter and grease. Any gear oil?
Yes I haven't done the gear oil as of yet.
do you have website that you order your oil kit, & shift differential fluids from??
No I don't. I bought thos oil from a cfmoto dealership
I was looking at the kit you have on the box it seem like the oil is 5w40 in the manual the specification are 15w40 or 10w40 (acceptable cold wheather) how come the dealer are selling 5w40 oil in the kit? what about the waranty is someting goes wrong
5w 40 is good for the climate I live in. That's what is recommended.
I use 5W50 AMSOIL covers all the ranges. If you read the owners manual or the service manual they basically don’t care what you use as long as it’s slippery and wet. Also live in Canada
Hello Mr CFMOTO Side Rider … would you happen to know where the spark plugs are on cfmoto zforce 800 2020? Can’t find any videos on this subject

What mileage did you have when you got your valves adjusted on your zforce 800
I haven't adjusted the valves. It's all fine.
Just got a 2023 zforce 800 trail gen2 and the the first service is at 320 kms i find it early my outlander 570 was at 800 to 1000 kms

It is 5W40. We are in a cold climate
That is not the engine oil. That’s the transmission oil. Be careful people
