Thank you for your videos, exactly why I'm here is looking for actual user perspective. I'm in the market and watching every video I can find. Will be looking at all yours!
Glad it was helpful!
I really enjoyed your video a lot of help for being a first time purchaser in the side by side world thanks a million for your time
Great to hear Earl. You can't go wrong with a new cfmoto. Have a great day 😀
I’m sure you’ve heard this but there is an adjustment on the linkage that will help your shifting issue.
The actual filter is in front of the rear passenger wheel, the intake vent and nylon dust sock is between the seat. Many dealers recommend Unifilter’s as your first replacement.
Good video, thank you.
Actually I haven't heard about adjusting the linkage. Thanks for the tip.
I’m with you man. 59 years young. I’ll be in the rear with the beer.
Informative video we have cforce 850 and 625 super machines done 1500 km in less then 1year on them
Thanks and glad to hear you are enjoying your machines!
Thank you sir, you've convinced me. I'm picking up a 2017 this Saturday to start with and may eventually trade it in for new if we enjoy it. :)
You are welcome. Actually I often hear many cfmotos built before 2020 were not to reliable. Just hearsay, I have no proof. So take that info for what it's worth. Also the resale value on cfmoto products aren't that great yet but I think are improving.
One more thing you can ask people for their opinions in cfmoto Facebook groups. That may help you with your decision. 😊
I don't know your situation but if you can swing a new cfmoto, that's the way to go.
Dad just got the zeforce 500 it is truly a beast I can only imagine 800ccs with the pedal floored!!
cool! i tried a 1000 and it has some zip!
Thank you very much I will be picking my up Saturday
Enjoy it
I saw you visiting the live feed with Dee & Daniel this week and wanted to stop by to show my support by following your work. Hope to see you online soon! Keep up the good muddin'!
Thank you!
That’s nice informative video. Thank You. 🤝
You are welcome ☺
Awesome video man. Thank you.
Thank you Performance Powersports 😀
Good video and good info. Good job man.
Thank you 😊
great video. Right now i'm torn between the 800ex and 950.
Thanks 🙂 I really like my EX, no complaints. But my next sxs will be the 950. I was a fan of the looks before but they have grown on me. Let me know which you choose Garrett. Good luck!
Great video mate very informative 👍🇦🇺
Thank you 😊
Great video, and very informative. I’m looking at getting the same model to plow snow with, and take the kids for rides.
Go for it!
Thank you, I’m looking into it right now. Appreciate all the good content.
Thanks, very helpfull !
Glad it helped!
Beautiful machine.
Thanks, I like it!
Thanks for the video, great job! I’ve actually been recently looking at that very same model. I’m impressed with all the options CFMOTO has to offer as standard equipment. One of the few complaints I have with them is the quality of winch rope(cable) they use. It definitely doesn’t handle the rated amount of weight. I know this cause my neighbor has one and it kept snapping it while he was lifting his snow plow last winter. I was also looking at the Polaris rzr trail S 1000 but I’m having troubles getting my head around that sticker price. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been a Polaris guy my whole life but twenty some odd grand or more as a starting point is a lot of $$$ for an atv of any kind or brand if you ask me.
I agree these things are costly. I switched out the winch cable for a synthetic rope for plowing.
that's the same reason I'm here. from what I can tell it's this is pretty much the cf version of the polaris general right?
Always appreciate the opinion of a gearhead. Not sure about making a video before the break in period being done tho. Plus the warranty of "5 years" is a gimmick, as the miles are very limited.
Hi ya I mentioned that in the video. I have 600 kms now and runs as good as new. I will do another review further in the future. I'm happy with it this far. At least there is some sort of warranty. Thanks for watching
The shifting issue got better as mine aged
Good to hear, I thought it might. I'm noticing everything feeling better compared to when I first tried it out.
Brake fluid, powersteering is electric and under the dash bellow the steering wheel
Thanks Don. 👍
Great content . I have the same one and I love it
Thanks, how long have you had it?
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER I’ve had it since the beginning of this year and have about 280 miles with no issues besides minor squeaks but it’s normal lol
Great video, thanks
Thanks 😀
Just subbed
Excellent review, I may switch my purchase from Polaris $$$$
Thanks, I now have 1000kms on it or 621 miles and I'm happy with it.
Winch remote, does anyone know how to power it on & off?
If you’ve change the battery you’d notice the 4 buttons (2 winch in & 2 winch out) why?
It’s not covered in my manual so if anyone knows please let me know
I dont mind the plastic skidplates at all. Plastic is fine and cheaper to replace if you need to.
I would prefer the doors without any holes in them though, but i imagine that you can buy that as a option?
Yes you can buy or make door inserts.
I have the 800 trail. 2020. Good machine. 3 issues power steering cuts out. Air filter clogs quickly and seat belts lock up and don't work
I have a fix for the seat belts. Video on the channel
Hey old timer, I did just like you, I watched video's for two years before I committed to the Z force 950. I bought it last month took it home and a few days later I took it back. Question? does your machine have to turn 3000 revs before it will move? And then it' lurch's forward about 3 feet then with jerky movements before it finally pulls like it should. That is what the dealer tells me is normal. Said I have to live with it as they all do it. Why don't I believe that? watched to many video's I guess. Nor was I born yesterday. Raced go carts when younger, drag raced cars for several years, was AMA National Hillclimb Champion three years running as well as seven state championship titles. owned Snowmobiles for years. But, this is my first side x side so I must be an idiot. Yeah I'm probably a tad older than you at 79 but I still have the need for Speed. I ride my street bike, dirt bike and will still take the Challange at a street light. Thats probably the dumbest thing I do these days as I finally learned not to argue with a wife, no future in that. So I was hoping to get a comment from you, did you have any issues like I described with your machine? I believe it's the same clutch setup as I have. Glad I found you, I subscribed and will be watching for you.
How much in other fees on top of list. Dealer here in BC is charging 2400 for delivery pdI and the rest of the charges.
Great video
Without looking for the papers ya I believe the point and freight was 2300
Good video
Thank you 😊
These are on par with just about everything else.i have buddies with polaris they eat axles and front diffs.but they have 30in tires and best the mess out of them.cf moto on par reliability wise.the 800s obviously don't have the power of a Polaris xp1000 but they do just about everything any other sxs can do.the cv tech clutching is everything with auto trannys.looking at the 950 zforce currently.
Very helpful video. So helpful in fact that I bought the 2022 ZF800T after watching it. They only come with a one year warranty now. I haven't yet decided on whether to buy the extended warranty (five years for $3,000 US). May I ask if you bought the extended warranty for yours? You mentioned yours came with a standard 5 year warranty. $3k for extended warranty seems expensive for a $12,500 machine. Thanks in advance.
Hey Bo, I didn't get the extended warranty. It is pricey.
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER Thank you for the response. Yes, it is pricey. And I am not very hard on the machine the way I drive. I think I will pass on it. Again, thanks.
Hi there I just pick up the 2022 zforce 500 trail and it has a pretty good vibration that you can feel. just wondering if you have had any vibration or have heard of any trouble with that. thanks.
No I didn't feel any vibration and still don't. Better get that looked at. Sorry to hear it.
I've owned a Polaris, Honda and CF moto. The only one I had problems with was Polaris and the problems were endless.
I've heard that many times.
Cool video I'm just not one for changes... I'm a honda man and I beat the hell out of mine and I've drove and rode in or on every machine that goes off road and hands down honda has passed them all..
If it works for you great! Honda makes good machines for sure. My Dad has a 98 fourtrax. It keeps going and going.
I'm a Honda guy too, seriously considering trading my brand new rancher for a cf motor sxs. Rancher has 2 miles lol.
Good day, it’s Patrick again. I have the Zforce 800. What would you recommend for a quieter muffler? Would you recommend keeping the stock on?
The stock muffler is likely the quietest one.
I really looked around pretty good when I was gonna get a side by side. I don't think I would get anything under the 2021 models. It seems like that is the year they really stepped up their game. I love my 950 . I'm a little bit rough on it. Not to crazy but it's been a really dependable machine so far. Hey bro you can get the inch and a half wheel spacers for them. And they feel better when you need it. But I have offset rims and tires. I'm at 67 inches wide. Drives great. Hey that rig is nice and clean brother. Looks awesome.
Thanks Thomas, good to know about the 2021 and up models. I hope to eventually get bigger wheels and lift kit.
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER nice man. Can't wait to see how it looks. Cfmoto has a great body style.
2 questions. What is your opinion on the ride quality? Also, I’ve heard stories of excessive cab heat….. any thoughts on that? Tks!
It's my first side x side and I think the ride is good. The seats are really comfy. As far as cabin heat, I've owned this zforce only just over 1 month. It's cooler Temps here so I'm not noticing heat.
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER tks! I’ve seen someone with a video on here who stated their right arm gets really hot when placing/resting it on the centre console area when driving it. Believe it was an 800 trail model.
I have a chance to buy a 2012 CFMoto Synper 600. Do you have any experience or thoughts on the UTV? Some say parts are becoming obsolete and accessories are non existent? Do you have any info on these? Thank- you.
I have no experience but cfmoto had several issues in the early days. Maybe a good idea to not bother. Unless you mechanically handy. It's 14 years old. How many miles on it?
Great video. What range do you get ? What is your plan for flats on the trail? Thanks.
Thanks! What do you mean by range?
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER How many miles/hours can you make on a tank of gas?
@@georgebanker2669 I never calculate that stuff. Sorry but I know I can ride pretty far on a tank of gas.
can you add a Sammy Snow blower to it?
I have no idea. I've never heard of that before
Do you ever need chains? Haven't seen any info on chains and I have to plow steep driveway
I haven't yet.
The warranty is 5 years or X amount of miles. Can't remember. But the milage is low low.
1 year bumper to bumper. 4 year power train. Limited to 5000 kms. Which I can easily put on in a year
@@Doniehg works well for me, if I put 500-750 km in a year I’m doing good!
could you start a sxs by driving downhill? say your battery is dead. Thx!
No it won't work. It's an automatic cvt transmission
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER yes but it has engine braking and a centrifugal clutch so I thought it could work.
Have you changed diff fluids
No not yet
Why did you choose not to go with the trail?
I wanted the wider zforce. Better ride and stability.
So is it 60” wide or 50”?
It is 60 inches wide.
Hey what to do if it doesn’t want to start well acts like it wants too but like it’s choking I have a Z force 800 trail only had it for a few months with zero miles on it when I bought it so it’s brand new ..
Not sure without seeing it.
Right wish I could send you a video of what it does when we try to crank it
@@tajasimms3875 Did you ever get it sorted out? Please share the outcome if so.
No I haven’t
@@tajasimms3875 hold the gas pedal down which is an air pedal it is flooded. Once you get it running get it out and get it hot to clean up the spark plugs. Also put some new fuel in it.
How did you get signal lights. Saw 2022 with no signals?
Mine is a 2021. I have no idea it just came with signal lights.
Possibly because it's a Canadian model?
Maybe.. picking up my 800ex friday.. orange! Hard to find these cfmotos are flying out the doors!
@@Delmarksman you are probably correct on that.
@@sxsoffroad43 That's great! Where are you from?
It's has 5700 kms on it
I can't find this adv fella
www.youtube.com/@AdvOffroad
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER ffs I'm old! Thank you
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER if I may ask . I'm 6' 2" and my son is 6' 5" would we fit in there?
@@ChrisYorky I think it would be tight. See if you can find a dealer near you and go sit inside one. The Z950 might better suit you.
I'll stick with my Yamaha Rmax and your totally wrong, my 2021 Yamaha Rmax is my 4th Yamaha side x side since 2005 and haven't had one issue.
That's fine I don't bad mouth any brand. I know people that ride different brands of side x side and I don't really see anyone that dislikes their side x side. Although I believe most issues can be a result of the way the side x side is used and lack of proper maintenance. There is so many variables that come into play on performance.
I feel robbed, mine has no turn signals, it's a 2021.
Really? That doesn't make sense. Is it a 50 inch trail? I'm beginning to to discover some differences between the trail and the EX
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER nope, 800 ex. No turn signals, or trailer wiring.
Only Canada spec models have turn signals and trailer wiring from what I understand
