- I adore this Buffalo Check / Plaid Stitch, it makes a wonderful blanket or scarf, or anything for that matter! It works up quickly and gives a great finished texture and colour placement.

Greetings from the U.S. I LOVE your channel! Your directions are spot on and easy to understand, and your voice is calm, which I appreciate. New stitches can be stressful if you struggle with learning, but your voice settles my soul. Thank you for all that you do for the world wide crocheting community.
I like the way the holes are gone . I am happy I waited to watch the border. Now I love ❤️ this one tooo
Love this stitch and colours, fabulous yarns. Can't wait to try this. Thank you.
This is so cool! It looks complicated but really isn’t that hard. I love your tutorials.....so easy to follow. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.

I just absolutely love this stitch.....it looks so super simple, yet very pretty! Thanks bunches!!
This is beautiful and so easy. i like that you can see everything your doing because some people hide their work a little. I loved your color choices.
Really enjoyed this tutorial. I carried my yarn up the side. It meant having to keep the strands untangled, but overall a real time saver not having to do so many ends since I knew I was going to put a border on . Can't wait for the next stitch/blanket tutorial. Awesome job.
It sure is a Gorgeous stitch! Thank you very much for sharing it. LOVE it! xx
I fell in love w/ this design to make my first baby's blanket & couldn't find instructions that brought it down to my beginner level or had clear images. I'm so glad I found this video!
Thank you so much I really love to watch & learn different Stiches from you my grandma taught me but never to follow a pattern so I have learned alot Thank you again. Penny Griffin

Thank you for this tutorial. I was trying to figure out how to do a “checkerboard” stitch with 3 colors and couldn’t figure it out until I came across your video. This is perfect!!
Thank you for another great tutorial. I will be making various projects using this stitch. 😍
I love that pattern, thank you for sharing.

Hi Lynne, thanks so much 😊
A very nice pattern, easier than it looks. Will be making some kitchen hot pads with this pattern to go with new kitchen towels I bought for a friend moving into a new apartment. She’s been thru’ so much after a terrible divorce and a group of us are “showering” her with much of what she needs to get settled in a new apartment. It’s amazing how many extra things all of us had that can ow be put to good use !
Gorgeous. Love the look. Thank you.
Thank you for using UK terms, as a British person it's a pet peeve of mine when British UA-camrs use US terms. I'm going to try and make that blanket. I already completed a baby blanket from one of your tutorials last night.
I’m so glad that you like the video! 🥰

So well explained. You made this easy for me. Tfs.
Thank you for posting this pattern. I have been looking for a simple pattern to crochet a blanket using only 2 colors. My grandson wants a blanket made with colors purple and white only. This pattern would work up beautifully using purple and white. Thanks again for your posting.
Sounds like it’ll be wonderful! 💜🤍
Very well explained and a beautiful color combination

Hi Rebekah, such a wonderful stitch these is. I am thinking of crocheting a baby blanket in it but am wondering what sort of border will go with it, need a little advice please, appreciate a lot and must say you are such an amazing tutor, love all your tutorials and have had such a pleasure doing your blankets, have been following you since our start of covid and have not looked back at all, thanks for been in my life 👍👍❤️🙏🏻

WOW you made something that looks extremely difficult into something even I can do!
Thank you so much for this tutorial.
Thanks so much Donna 🥰🌸
I have just started this stitch, thank you for your tutorial, very easy to follow. I have carried my yarns up instead of cutting each time, no ends to sew in until the end. xx
Thank you 😄 this is what i thought about too😉. Can't wait to start ☺

Thank you for sharing this new style......
Beautiful! The possibilities are endless. Thank you and God bless ^_^
This pattern is a favorite of mine. If you use a bulky yarn it makes a wonderfully squishy soft bedside rug. 😊
Candied Ginger ooooooh great idea!
I have blanket yarn that would be PERFECT for this, I think. Thank you for planting the thought in my head!
Beautiful!! Love your colors!! Can’t wait to make a lapghan!!

Thankyou looks great
Absolutely beautiful!🌸.
Love the colors on this one, too!.
Would you be able to do a tutorial on how to make hats for adults? Thank you.
Hi I love your tutorials.. I made a cluster baby blanket and I was in hospital for the day this week and to pass the time I took it in. One of the nurses wanted to buy it off me lol
Love this pattern! Easy and beautiful! I was wondering if I want to make the multiple squares bigger, let’s say multiple of 10, how many extra chains would I have to put?
Lovely pattern! What border would you use? x
Smiles sent your way from Flint, Michigan! I'm over the moon happy that I found your channel!! I've always wanted to crochet. I have had some pretty serious injuries, and may never be able to return to work again... so rather than be sad and down, in this past almost 1 year I've taught myself to crochet with library books and YT videos! It's difficult as I have no one "in real life" to ask questions or help me. But you're a totally wonderful teacher!! I'm having difficulties remembering UK & USA terms are different, but I will get the hang of it I think!! I'd love to attempt this project... do you think a "medium beginner" should attempt it? If no, can you point me towards a challenging but not difficult blanket? Thank you so much!!
Hi Christina, I'm so glad that you've learned to crochet. I do think that a medium beginner would be able to do this, just take it slow at first and keep pausing when you need to. Let me know how you get on! Take care. Rebekah. :)
Hello, can this pattern be done in only two colours? I really like it and would like to try in a white and turquoise. What changes do I have to make for it to work? Thank you!
I was thinking I doing this in a triple crochet (us) for a scarf .. hope it will work thank u for sharing this!
JamJams_96 oooooh if you work the long way, the ends will become part of your fringe!
MommeeMadre1 used lion brand home spun so no fringe. Ened up doing double for this one still gonna try triple tho
I just saw those "cake" skeins of yarn on clearancen as well!! this would be AHmazing with that!
I like triples too! it goes faster. :-)
Cool! I'm doing this pattern with Bernat Blanket yarn in red, blue, and variegated red-white-blue. I plan to do a border in white. I am making a baby blanket to use on the floor for baby to play on. I will be giving it to an expectant mom at her baby shower.
I'm already plotting which colors of Bernat Blanket yarn to use on this. That yarn makes such deliciously soft scarves & blankets.
What border did you make for this pattern? Thank you.
Thanks
You’re welcome ☺️
I've seen another pattern that ran the colors along the edge but I am confused as to how that looked but in your pattern you cut and worked them in later
If you use three colours you don’t need to cut off at the end of the row. Whenever you get to the end of a row you’ll find the new colour waiting. You’ll have little loops at the side, but you can easily cover those by adding a simple edging. Or you can just leave the loops!
Yes. You’re right. This is the way I do it. Much tidier and no mess of strings to have to hide when you’re finished.
To hide the bumpy edge, I like to leave a fringe by not weaving in the yarn at the knots.
Very pretty!! Would like to know what brand hooks do you use??
Would this be ok for a sweater? or would it be too heavy? its so pretty
I would suggest a slip stitch at the end row of the top instead of the us single or uk double to eliminate that bump
Just what I'm going to do, to hopefully achieve more of a match to the foundation row
Super
What is the best way to weave all the cut strands of yarn into the body of the afghan?
❤
Just wondering ... Would this work if changing colours every 3 or 4 rows ?
Will this still look as pretty with 4 colors?
When I tried to make it there were holes where you could see the color from the previous row in between the current Double crochet with the new color. My double crochets were far apart and not coming together all of the way. How do I prevent that? Can some please help me out?????😭😭😭
Do you have a writing pattern if so thank you
The foundation multiple isn't working for me. How many stitches for a 2 foot baby blanket?
I really like how you teach put if you can just show us with out all the colors changes would be 😊
I LOVE this pattern, can yo do it in the round?
I know this is a year late, but yes! I'm just make your project a multiple of 6...just like it's flat. For instance, I'm making a beanie and I made my starter round 72 (which is 12x6). I didn't do the add 5 extra chains part though. I just chained 3 instead. Also, I'd slip stitch your work together so it keeps the rows flat and even.
Have you ever did the Apache tears
what kind of a border ddod you put on this blanket
What size needle are you using
Hello. Good day. I hope you are doing fine. May I please ask if you could make a tutorial for Moroccan Trellis Crochet please. Thanks so much.
Any suggestions for an border as mine looks a little untidy after I had sewn ends in?
Hi Tracy, you can use anything you like the look of, but I have used both the Moss Stitch Border and Simple Frills on ones that I have completed :)
What size hook do you use for this?
