- Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 & Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 233 have been immense, but I wanted to dive into a special and very surprising JJK VS battle and that would be between Toji & Sukuna. Toji VS Sukuna is something a lot of us would definitely expect Sukuna to win, but Toji is much more tougher than you think and he could last for quite some time. So let's understand how LONG Toji Fushiguro could last against Ryomen Sukuna!

but he still has his flyheads since he still has all his cursed tools and inventory curse. he could use them to possibly counter d&c and since sukuna likes to toy with his enemies. plus hes smart even though there a slim chance he could possibly get a single window to atleast get a critical sho, but i dont think he could kill him.@@_Ruach_

the biggest problem is that it is a sudden fight, toji's biggest strength is being smart enough to work around stronger opponents. He needs preparation and knowledge to be effective

Nah, he still would die. Once Gojo got awakened, he is already on different league than Toji. And you can say the same thing about (pre awakening) Gojo, if it was prepared a fight (knew about Toji capabilities and weapons, not caught off guard and tired of not sleeping and dealing with assasins) he wouldn't have lost and almost die to Toji.

Toji does not go around fighting strong enemies on a whim, he is dangerous precisely BECAUSE he can actually kill people much stronger than him by using his abilities AND preparation
@@ByzantineRefugee Fair enough. Almost all characters could've lost to surprise attacks that could kill or debilitate them like Sukuna by the angel and Kenjaku by Yuta. The tricky part is of course to plan, choose the right surprised attack, right distractions and make sure not to make mistake in the execution. (Like Hana or Yuki failed to do)

It would take one domain expansion and unless toji knows that the domain attacks EVERYTHING in the domain he'll probably just laugh at sukuna before realizing his tongue has been cut off

Domains cant "see" people with heavenly restriction or people with no cursed energy if i remember right. Read the fight with maki vs cursed naoya, it was stated there but maybe i am remembering it wrong.

Cleave AND dismantle are at work in the domain, Cleave attacks animate objects with cursed energy and Dismantle attacks inanimate objects without cursed energy, the domain wont recognize toji but it will recognize a building or statue in the form of toji and attack him, thatd why even the buildings in shibuya were destroyed even though they have no cursed energy

To be fair, Toji had a chance against gojo because he could hide and try to dodge anything he threw at him (he literally just lost when he tried to fight him head on instead of sneakily), he is kind of an assassin/diver type character. But sukuna's technique and domain literally just slashes everything in an area, with cursed energy or not, that's just puts toji in a disadvantage against him compared to gojo because he literally can't get close to him or he will be turned into grilled cheese.
Also, the inverted spear makes more sense for Gojo, (especially pre rct). But for Sakuna there are hardly any benefits since it works just like any other knife on top of that, we know Sakuna can live without his heart, so hitting his organs doesn't mean he slows down.

Gojo was able to dodge Toji like nothing and sukuna is as fast as him (if not faster cuz he was only a teenager) so I think the ryu scenario will repeat itself

Toji would approach the fight just like he approached Gojo: Stay from a distance, throw other people at him and come in for the finishing blow. Would that work? Probably not, so Toji just wouldnt attack.

I think you got something wrong (If I'm the one that's wrong pls correct me). The Inverted Spear of Heaven nullifies techniques themselves but it doesn't work like you mentioned. Stabbing Sukuna wouldn't stop him from using his techniques.The weapon just nullifies a technique once it touches it. That's the only reason he used it to stab Gojo, because he had to nullify the barrier in order to stab him.
If anything, it would be a terrible idea to use this weapon against someone who doesn't have a barrier protecting them, cuz u can just use a better weapon with a different effect.

yes, i’m not sure where this it can cancel your body from using CT came from, but it’s never been shown, in fact, in the anime gojo uses his CT right after being stabbed by the inverted spear, like fractions of a second after.

Sukuna would just do him how he did Yuji in his innate domain. Even if has a weapon he cant deflect every slash coming from every direction. Not to mention Sukuna was blocking an awaken Maki with 1 arm while blocking Yujis barrage with the other arm.
And sukuna is only using ⅒th of his power cause Megumi is suppressing him.

While Gojo's domain just attacks everything in his domain range & the only thing that can save the opponent is if the opnt's domain is as strong as Gojo's domain and has an equally strong sure-hit technique.

Awakened maki was stated to be as strong as toji, and itadori has already surpassed that yet sukuna was blocking them both at the same time (while he was weakened by megumis soul) with one arm sukuna negs toji..
When was it stated itadori is stronger than toji or maki?

@@MelanieML1 No the hell he doesn't. Yuji was fighting a 10% powered 15F sukuna and was getting trashed. That and he was TEAMING with Maki. Toji's speed is comparable to at least 3F Sukuna by Megumi, although he's probably faster since Jogo who was compared to 9F Sukuna was stated by Dagon to be slower than Naobito who is probably slower than Toji.

The whole thing about Hidden Inventory is that Toji was only able to get one over Gojo because he knew about his technique way more than others, as soon as Gojo introduced something he wasn't aware of and prepared for he was done. No one knew pretty much anything about Sukuna except that he was strong, he wouldn't even need his domain most likely.
i wont say that Toji will win but if there is a chance that sukuna doesn't know about tools like the inverted spear of heaven which could deal a little damage and Sukuna being the prideful man he is would show toji his full power and thus the domain. We also don't particularly know the range of the abilities like cleave and dismantle outside of the domain so I would say there is a chance that malevolent shrine will be used
I mean that's mostly everyone. Sukuna thought he could beat Kashimo with the meguna body like he did gojo but Kashimo lightning beast amber blitzed his ass and forced him to transform immediately because he couldn't keep up

Sukuna while at 10% and fighting megumi on the inside was beating the shit out of making and Yuji at the same time. Kashimo ragdolled that nigga then he transformed and they were fighting hard. Kashimo took no damage everytime they met face to face but those big ass walls of slashes changed everything. It took 1 normal slash to take gojo ass out sadly. Took a wall of space and time cutting slashes that went threw the entire earth

Honestly the match up would be insane to watch, because Sukuna would probably give Toji credit where it is really fucking due.
The fact that Toji could remain in the higher tiers of power in the JJK realm even after his death is a true testament to how in my opinion. Toji is one of the more active honey badgers of the series, the less active one being Yuji.
Facts
Sukuna already fought a Toji equivalent and was just like "heh, not bad", and continued to match a jump in strenght with only 10% of his output, wasn't even a fully fingered sukuna. He aint glazing over Toji in a million years, only character he did it was fucking Gojo.

In my opinion there are a lot of things wrong with this video firstly maki was being helped by yuji who had just gotten an incredible power boost. Also sukuna was very clearly being weakened by megumis soul as this was before the bath and killing yorozu im being genuine when i say toji gets legitimately one shot by sukuna at 20 fingers.

To add to this particular moment. Sakuna was using his ct on Yuji before Maki arrived. More reason why Sakuna won't hold his ct back.
Sakunas term of playing around would be more like he did with Jogo, where he cut Jogos hand on multiple occasions.

And megumis soul was limiting sukuna making it hard for him to move his body(his hand was shaking like when yuji was gonna take over again while he was in yujis body) and his CT output against his friends was down to 10% so 10% of 15 finger is 1.5 fingers, a 1.5 finger sukuna was playing and manhandling yuji and maki, toji gets absolutely demolished

Less than a minute against 20 finger sukuna. awakened gojo literally low diffed him and he's gotten stronger since then, yet sukuna is matching him.
Only low diffed bc surprised purple that almost no one knew about. Gojo also stay in the sky to make sure toji couldn't reach him without significant effort. Yes gojo reacted to toji way better, but that's bc toji had a cursed tool for gojo to track.

@wasteurtime5677 Well, gojo learned from his time he got low diffed by toji. He got off the ground to make super difficult for toji to reach him and then hit him with a super secret op curse technique. I wouldn't consider that a stop but it was a low diff also. Toji was more than content with red. He had no idea about purple and being even more powerful. If they were to run it back again, toji still had a chance now that he knows he needs to look out for purple.

Even pre-awakened Gojo would prolly win in an open 1v1. Even Toji knows that. Even if Toji knows about purple, he doesn't have anything against that. Even Sukuna had nothing against it, or at least nothing we've seen yet. Toji is a strong character. But he is way weaker than gojo and the likes. He knows he has to resort to sneak attacks with prep time. Give that sneak attack and prep time to Gojo and he also one hit kills Toji^^

Sure Toji is a freaking beast ! But, honestly, as soon as Sukuna uses his territory, it's over, and I think they needed Makora to showcase that
an instant fight sucks as toji just gets instantly diced imo. but that was true of toji v gojo, even at gojo's power level in the first fight, it was toji's prep time and intelligence that let him beat gojo. if they both had prep it would be really interesting, Sakuna is also really smart, recognising megumi's usefulness immediately and then subjugating mahoraga and using that as a tool to beat gojo. i think with equal prep time sakuna still stomps honestly, he's clearly and absolute genius in terms of cursed techniques and just in general, he came up with a way to cheat death through cursed objects and use that possess people. Toji with prep time vs an un-prepped Sakuna would be interesting, it would be cool to see what strategies Toji would come up with

Toji prefers to stack as many odds in his favor, but the lack of info would leave him to improvise, which he particularly doesn't like when it comes to more vigorous opponents.

In a 1v1, Sukuna folds dude up without even noticing. If we said Toji was paid to kill Sukuna, he's still getting folded but only after maybe actually getting a hit in.

Honestly, 1 flame arrow to the ground vaporizes Toji. At best, Toji gets incapacitated and then killed by cleave. Heian Era Sukuna, who's supposed to be weaker than current Sukuna, one shot a top 5 fighter in the verse without even moving while staring at the ground

So, about Toji and defeating Gojo. He doesn’t ever say that he couldn’t defeat Gojo without bejng fatigued (pre-awk, obv) more of like a “maybe.” Toji stated he was “rusty” and that he could’ve killed Gojo with the initial strike if he was in his prime. He also seems like the type of person to prepare for every circumstance in a fight considering his arsenal of weapons and how he handled fighting Gojo, like, “I could maybe win, but idrk just gotta be safe.” Sukuna still slams though lmao

If he thought he had a reasonable chance killing Gojo, he'd have implemented his plan a lot sooner. Instead he wore him out for 2 days and then attacked him when his guard was down at a time when Gojo didn't know how to RCT injuries
He's barely a match for teen Gojo with only Blue while he's fresh. Give that Gojo just Red and it's a slightly longer version of the fight we already got.

Tojis ability would allow him to sense Sukunas attacks and like Maho would be able to block them. But I dont think he be able to actually survive against Sukuna for long even if he could block his cleave and dismantle

Something to note about megumi’s comparison of toji’s speed to three finger sukuna: that comparison only shows that both 3 finger sukuna and Toji were able to move faster than he could perceive, something that arguably is a better feat for Toji considering that Megumi is much stronger in Shibuya than he was back in the beginning of the story.
Next: the inverted spire of heaven isn’t just some instant win card, it was just the thing that he needed to get through Gojo’s extremely potent defensive cursed technique (infinity). Sukuna doesn’t have a defensive technique like Gojo so there’s really no need to use it.
Lastly: we don’t know how effective dismantle and cleave would be against someone like Toji. When Sukuna opened his domain in Shibiya he designated anything with cursed energy as a target for cleave, the one that can be adjusted, and anything else as a target for dismantle. Obviously Sukuna has shown the ability to alter the conditions of his domain but we don’t know if he could make his domain target toji specifically with something like cleave that’s meant to adapt to the opponent. Not to imply that Toji could win, he undoubtedly could NOT, but I think you’re significantly overestimating the effectiveness of Malevolent Shrine at least on Toji specifically.
Toji speed is second to Kashimo, sukuna and gojo. It was stated that he was faster and stronger than everyone in the zenin clan easily and they are the fastest people on earth. Maki awoken couldn't keep up with naoya so idk she's not on toji level like they thought

In terms of speed feats, I think anyone with projection sorcerory should be able to do something similar, but using the technique would be detected well in advance, so it's moot. im genuinely curious, I remember Toji simply slashing away one of Getos cursed spirits techniques while it had a hold on him, but not needing to necessarily hit said spirit to get rid of it as he sliced all around himself, it was that women who asked him if she was pretty. I dont know if that could imply it can indirectly cut off techniques or not, but I feel like mabye it can prevent domains in that case? we never got to chance to fully see if it could or not Afterall, just some little detail I noticed and perhaps it would buy him a bit more time to live at least, but of course I could be wrong.

I think Toji's only chance would be if Sukuna started to play with him, and in that time Toji could sneak an attack with Inverted Spear of Heaven, and could restrict Sukuna with the Thousand miles chain at the same time. If he could do that, maybe he would have a chance to behead Sukuna with the Soul splitting sword. I think Toji learned from his fight with Gojo, and would try to pulverize the body of Sukuna with the sword.
If he could perform this combo, I think Sukuna couldn't heal in time from the effect of the ISOH.
This requires Sukuna to play with Toji and for Toji to realize this advantage.
A few corrections:
Maki is absolutely on the same level as Toji now, unlike before where it was insinuated as such. So any feat by her is a feat for Toji.
Second, Maki was absolutely winning the trade between Sukuna, her and Yuji. Albeit this seems because his output was being reduced whenever he attempted to harm them and he could deal with it because of his reversed cursed technique and cursed energy reinforcement.
Of course this was also revealed to be maki holding back since she wasn't aware of the situation at hand. So once she got seriously they continued the beating on sukuna though he found a way to use his max output to escape it (destroy the ground and create rubles to obscure his view and thus deceive his host to deliver a max powered punch), which she tanked.
Also no he isn't equal to a 3 finger sukuna. You just showed that he was faster then back then and Megumi was far weaker so he couldn't keep up or different the level of speed. After all Maki feats, and his own, show he scales way beyond.
Third. The inverted spear of heaven nullifies cursed techniques it comes in contact with, it does not deactivate them and the curse technique itself after harming the opponent, if not he wouldn't be able to touch gojo.
So with that said here are the correct scaling for Him and sukuna:
hand to hand: Toji has the upper hand or matches sukuna considering that sukuna is just inferior to gojo in that aspect. Which only heavenly restricted body's would be able to match since they have full understanding of their body as well as their extreme senses to fight with extreme skill and finesse.
Cursed technique vs tools: it would be a debate moment here. Since Toji would have several ways to deal with Sukuna's cursed technique, something invisible like slash or dismantle would effect the surrounding that maki has shown to be aware of and thus would be able to react. He could use chains of a thousand miles to force sukuna into melee making it easier to react to the attacks and counterattack, he could then use playful cloud to overcome sukuna's physical reinforcement and ruin set up sukuna might have in mind or displace each other more easily, he could use the soul splitting sword to damage sukuna more effectively giving him more ways to catch sukuna off guard. And his inverted spear of heaven would be useful against his black box with techniques that have clearly vastly more destructive force.
I can say all of this because we saw with round 2 of toji vs Gojo how he was able to still estimate gojo's abilities to be within his reach, which is still the same to this day. Only defeated because he didn't think that gojo had purple and didn't have the inverted spear of heaven on him to defend with.
Domain expansvion?: And this is where toji get's destroyed. Since he has nothing for that.
I respect everything here but a question: wouldn't Toji be able to escape the domain since they don't work with people that have HR? And even if he let himself get into MS he is as fast a Maki who is as fast as a jet so wouldn't he be able to escape?

Objects are beings classified as those without cursed energy. So it works on toji.
In the end toji still has now means to win due to reverse cursed energy and physical stat difference if we consider 20 finger sukuna cursed energy reinforcement. Which heavily limits toji to use his tools to do any damage and only 1 can leave lasting damage.
Though toji would have a frightening early on advantage basically by defying and overcoming sukuna expectations of someone with no cursed energy. It would still be within the range that sukuna can deal or recover from and then use domain expansion to end it all when he feels like if.
Conversely with ten shadow technique, he can just go 3 on one on sukuna instantly with mahoraga, the fusion of shadows and himself. And in this series, ganging up is massively effective if the other side doesn't get amped up (which gojo did so he could handle it) but toji doesn't have access to black flash to grant that amp.
Not even mentioning the shikigami will only be defeated via the use of his tools which would give sukuna huge heads up on what's to come.
So yeah as much as I'm clarifying certain things toji sadly can't win.

I also would like to point out. Toji Fushiguro lost to Gojo Toji Zenin killed himself for megumi. Meaning the toji we got was younger (prior to marriage) upon reincarnation. Toji that fought Gojo was rusty as he clearly stayed and ignored just because he wanted to fight the best while not being at his best. However Gojo was not either thus making them on par atleast woth each other at the time.

Isn't the curse tool Toji used to nullify Gojo's limitless already destroyed by the time Shibuya incident happened? iirc, Gojo ordered for it to be destroyed after his fight with Toji so as to avoid someone else using the same tool in the future. It's also the reason Gojo is sealed for so long because if they still had it, they could've just bumrushed the cube and released Gojo using it. Basically avoiding everything that happened in Shibuya.
