I'd say Yuji is taking this 7/10. There is actually a lot of going for him now (RCT, Blood CT, Cursed tool arm, Soul punch), and you can't forget the fact that he can use the black flash ontop of all these. Toji on the other hand is strong too, but I feel like it would be difficulty for him without a decent amount of prep time.
Toji is to fast for Yuji to land a solid soul punch or Blood manipulation. And he can’t land Black Flash consistently. He also heal from getting cut by the soul split katana because he can’t heal soul damage.

I think Yuji takes this. Pre timeskip maki was keeping up with 15 finger sukuna. And Yuji is keeping up decently against 20 finger hein era sukuna. Even before yuta stepped in he was doing decent. And I think there is a very big gap between 15 finger sukuna and current sukuna. Also I don’t think toji could do much at all against current sukuna. He had to make a multi day plan just to take out gojo who didn’t even know reverse curse technique and only knew how to use blue. And I don’t even see that version of gojo doing much to sukuna. Yuji even has blood manipulation now so he can use longer range attacks and he just has a more versatile kit overall.
I think they're pretty relative with yuji not having the reaction time but more options. Strategically, yuji can outsmart him using his RCT, blood manip and more. Of course, then there's toji's cursed tool reserve holding much more than just tools...

Actually this matchup is quite interesting We have to consider Toji has: -Incredible speed, reflexes, durability, perception and strenght. -No ways of being tracked by Yuji, since we saw that he struggled against all types of Cursed Control(e.g. vs Yuta and Todo) -Special Grade Cursed Tools such as Playful Cloud, Soul-Splitting Katana, Inverted Spear of Heaven and the Chain of a Thousand Miles(+ a Tamed Curse Spirit that functions as basically a Minecraft Inventory) (also a Swarm of Curse-Flies) -Immunity to Domains, and he can also break them(useless info since Yuji doesn't have one) -He also has a slow regenerative factor that could change the outcome of a fight since he could hide and not be found for his invisibility. This video is 2 months old but I personally feel this is a wash in Yuji's favor. Toji is AT BEST equals with Maki (though Maki is probably stronger by now), who performs worse in a 1v1 against Sukuna than Yuji does. Maki was able to make Sukuna feel challenged, but she didn't do any damage at all, while Yuji is outmaneuvering and outboxing Sukuna one on one almost immediately after. Not to mention he has almost perfect mastery over Black Flash and an INSANELY stronger will than Toji as well. All this, plus the fact that Playful Cloud wouldn't be that effective against him given Hanami's performance against it, and Yuji being able to heal his soul with RCT makes Soul Split Katana pretty useless. Yuji would struggle ofc but he would win pretty handily. I give him a 10/10.
Hot Take: When has Yuji won a 1v1 against a major enemy without help? He can't run the 1s with a strong character. Usually when Yuji wins, its because its either against fodder or he has someone helping him in those fights with the villains. When it came to Mahito, Yuji would've died on numerous occasions if he didn't have help from people like, Nanami, Nobara, and Todo. Anytime he tries to 1v1 a villain, he catches a mean beatdown. When Sukuna took Megumi's body, it wasnt as ridiculously strong as Yuji(hence why Sukuna forgot how strong Yuji really is), but he could still dogwalk Yuji, but because of Megumi's interference, he couldn't deliver the killing blow. He tried going after Kenjaku and Uraume, but they told him sit down. The fight with Higuruma is debatable because even though Yuji won, Higuruma hesitated at the last second and its hard to say if he would've been fast enough to kill Yuji. And mind you, in the recent chapters, Sukuna outright said bro has a level of talent on par with Gojo and its coming from the king of curses whos interested in him. And in that fight with Yuji, he was quick on his feet to respond, but he turned off his technique and gave Yuji that win. You can make a fair arguement on him being able to beat Hakari, but its only hypothetical like this fight. Hakari has punched him multiple times and he ate those, but we've seen Hakari fight Kashimo, Edo's strongest. And He's holding his against Uraume. So thats debatable. Granted, Yuji can take a beating, thats for sure, hands down. But against Toji? If he had more wins on his belt against more known characters, then Id say his chance are actually pretty good. But Toji would see how durable he is and decide to end it with something he's sure Yuji won't get back up from. Yuji's best feats come from jumping. Edit: I also forgot about his loss with Choso, cementing the point further that he can't run 1s.
There is the argument that yuji soul punches would botch hevanly restriction. But thst if he lands enough which I doubt cause he couldn't tag choso when they were relative so toji should follow as well

several HUGE things you missed/incorrectly stated. first, yuji has soul hacks and just as sukuna explained if you understand the soul, soul split isnt anywhere near as useful and even less so when rct is involved. secondly, inverted spear doesnt get rid of a targets cursed energy, it outright negates techniques specifically and nothing else as it works the EXACT SAME as jacobs ladder which also doesnt remove CE, so i dunno where you got that bullshit from. next, yuji is a walking soul split katana and negates durability due to his soul punches, meaning hes either even or taking the edge damage wise against toji or theyre even. then add yujis cursed arms which not even world slash cut through and toji gets stomped dude. hes an overall worse version of yuji and maki who contend with weakened 20f sukuna whenever toji himself isnt even worth 15 fingers, its not even close nor comparable. usually your content is great but your takes this time around are just underthought
bad match up... just like dagon. if toji dual wields playful cloud and soul split katana it's overkill. not only playful cloud will enhance toji's physical capabilities that's already fast to vanish and appear without playful cloud (the part where he was first resurrected by grandma), it's several times harder now to dodge split soul katana combined with his experience at killing sorcerers like yuji, on top of that we've got toji's over powered soul that's unrestricted by destinies, and his natural resistance from cursed technique thanks to not having even a tiny bit of cursed energy to be detected. black flash is definitely strong, but it's useless if you can't even land it as toji would've decapitated you with ease before you make any damage. physical gifted people are just as fast as 15 finger sukuna, (maki was able to keep up with sukuna in 15 fingers) the sukuna who played with jogo's building busting attacks, and mahoraga's adapting lightning fast and overwhelming destructive attacks. toji with playful cloud would definitely lose to mahoraga, but just like how sukuna played with jogo, toji played with dagon too, not letting dagon land a hit even a single time. they're on another level when it comes to raw combat capability.
Yuji has blood manipulation skills in addition to his physical strength. All he needs is to pop a flowing red scale, and it's gg for Toji. Also, regardless of whether it's at random, Yuji could still pull off a black flash while Toji simply can't because of the obvious lack of ce.
He’s never used red scale and even if he could Toji’s Katana cuts the soul and his Spear of Heaven turns off cursed techniques so it would bypass his defenses.
You also admitted that his black flash is random so how would he land it consistently. It’s not like he would just win after landing one black flash if he lands in the first place.

Yuji already fast and durable flowing red is like a gear second from one piece. Also the fact that Yuji is confirmed to use supernova and piercing blood means that he can use flowing red. Black flash is not a ct and is something that Yuji can still pull off and cannot be taken away from him. He is the only to pull of consecutive bf on multiple occasions. So even if its at random he still has a higher chance to pull one off on Toji. Btw I know some people will say this but ISH only nulls ct not ce so a bf can still land. And lastly I dont want to hear Makis feat being given to boost Toji since at that point you are being biased and taking away from Yujis arsenal while giving Toji more despite not being his feats. I’ll never understand how some Toji fans look at everything Maki does and come to the conclusion that Toji does it better dispute her fight much harder opponents than Toji ever encountered.

Its a fallacy to say “Maki was able to do this and fight this person, therefore Toji can do the same but better”. Its not the same we seen Maki fight 20f Sakuna, the toughest opponent Toji fought was teen Gojo. Flowing red does give a significant amp, had Choso not used it in the bathroom fight he would’ve lost. Lastly why is it that Maki fight 15f Sakuna brought up but people always ignore Yuji being there too? Yuji is always downplayed even with more showing then the person being compared to.

Current Yuji probably beats Toji, Maki was considered equal to Toji when she and Yuji fought a held back 15f Sukuna, where as now Maki was the only one to give a full power Sukuna an exciting fight (since Gojo). Yuji hasn't had a 1v1 with Sukuna yet but he has been in the fight the longest and Sukuna has struggled to deal with him. Maki is stronger than Toji, and Yuji is probably stronger than Toji considering we still don't know everything he can do yet...
Yuji destroys Toji/Maki. Before the time skip he was already almost on par with Maki Now he has Blood CT and INSANE RCT. He also can protect his soul from the Soul split Katana. He would absolutely bodied Toji

You can make a fair arguement on him being able to beat Hakari, but its only hypothetical like this fight. Hakari has punched him multiple times and he ate those, but we've seen Hakari fight Kashimo, Edo's strongest. And He's holding his against Uraume. So thats debatable.
Granted, Yuji can take a beating, thats for sure, hands down. But against Toji? If he had more wins on his belt against more known characters, then Id say his chance are actually pretty good. But Toji would see how durable he is and decide to end it with something he's sure Yuji won't get back up from. Yuji's best feats come from jumping.
Edit: I also forgot about his loss with Choso, cementing the point further that he can't run 1s.

i don't think one cut from the inverted spear would disable all cursed energy for 30 minutes, as gojo took an entire stab and still was able to use cursed energy and by extention the reverse cursed technique. imo, yuji wins this one

several HUGE things you missed/incorrectly stated. first, yuji has soul hacks and just as sukuna explained if you understand the soul, soul split isnt anywhere near as useful and even less so when rct is involved. secondly, inverted spear doesnt get rid of a targets cursed energy, it outright negates techniques specifically and nothing else as it works the EXACT SAME as jacobs ladder which also doesnt remove CE, so i dunno where you got that bullshit from. next, yuji is a walking soul split katana and negates durability due to his soul punches, meaning hes either even or taking the edge damage wise against toji or theyre even. then add yujis cursed arms which not even world slash cut through and toji gets stomped dude. hes an overall worse version of yuji and maki who contend with weakened 20f sukuna whenever toji himself isnt even worth 15 fingers, its not even close nor comparable. usually your content is great but your takes this time around are just underthought

bad match up... just like dagon. if toji dual wields playful cloud and soul split katana it's overkill. not only playful cloud will enhance toji's physical capabilities that's already fast to vanish and appear without playful cloud (the part where he was first resurrected by grandma), it's several times harder now to dodge split soul katana combined with his experience at killing sorcerers like yuji, on top of that we've got toji's over powered soul that's unrestricted by destinies, and his natural resistance from cursed technique thanks to not having even a tiny bit of cursed energy to be detected. black flash is definitely strong, but it's useless if you can't even land it as toji would've decapitated you with ease before you make any damage. physical gifted people are just as fast as 15 finger sukuna, (maki was able to keep up with sukuna in 15 fingers) the sukuna who played with jogo's building busting attacks, and mahoraga's adapting lightning fast and overwhelming destructive attacks. toji with playful cloud would definitely lose to mahoraga, but just like how sukuna played with jogo, toji played with dagon too, not letting dagon land a hit even a single time. they're on another level when it comes to raw combat capability.
Yuji has blood manipulation skills in addition to his physical strength. All he needs is to pop a flowing red scale, and it's gg for Toji. Also, regardless of whether it's at random, Yuji could still pull off a black flash while Toji simply can't because of the obvious lack of ce.
He’s never used red scale and even if he could Toji’s Katana cuts the soul and his Spear of Heaven turns off cursed techniques so it would bypass his defenses.
You also admitted that his black flash is random so how would he land it consistently. It’s not like he would just win after landing one black flash if he lands in the first place.
@@Sincaisen0784 I dont think you get how red scale works. It amps all physical attributes, speed, strength, durability, and awareness. Choso was able to keep up with Yuji bc of flowing red. Yuji already fast and durable flowing red is like a gear second from one piece. Also the fact that Yuji is confirmed to use supernova and piercing blood means that he can use flowing red. Black flash is not a ct and is something that Yuji can still pull off and cannot be taken away from him. He is the only to pull of consecutive bf on multiple occasions. So even if its at random he still has a higher chance to pull one off on Toji. Btw I know some people will say this but ISH only nulls ct not ce so a bf can still land. And lastly I dont want to hear Makis feat being given to boost Toji since at that point you are being biased and taking away from Yujis arsenal while giving Toji more despite not being his feats. I’ll never understand how some Toji fans look at everything Maki does and come to the conclusion that Toji does it better dispute her fight much harder opponents than Toji ever encountered.

I also never said BF was his ct I just it’s not a guarantee hit. It is possible for him to land it but you don’t know when he will or if it will land because that’s an assumption. Also yes Maki’s feats would stack because they are literally equals stated by the author so you’re not making a point and your opinion on whether it’s biased doesn’t matter.

Its a fallacy to say “Maki was able to do this and fight this person, therefore Toji can do the same but better”. Its not the same we seen Maki fight 20f Sakuna, the toughest opponent Toji fought was teen Gojo. Flowing red does give a significant amp, had Choso not used it in the bathroom fight he would’ve lost. Lastly why is it that Maki fight 15f Sakuna brought up but people always ignore Yuji being there too? Yuji is always downplayed even with more showing then the person being compared to.

Current Yuji probably beats Toji, Maki was considered equal to Toji when she and Yuji fought a held back 15f Sukuna, where as now Maki was the only one to give a full power Sukuna an exciting fight (since Gojo). Yuji hasn't had a 1v1 with Sukuna yet but he has been in the fight the longest and Sukuna has struggled to deal with him.
Maki is stronger than Toji, and Yuji is probably stronger than Toji considering we still don't know everything he can do yet...
