When this fight gets animated, it might just be BY FAR the best anime fight in history. I have no doubt that MAPPA will honour the magnitude of this clash.
as Sukuna said in the beginning of the battle against Gojo: ' a fish on the cutting board, and he will get rid of the scales'. He really did got rid of Gojo 'scales' Thus leading to the events of chapter 236
Has anyone noticed how analytical Yuji has been? He predicted destroying the shrine, he kind of predicted how 10 shadow adaptation works and etc. We might see Yuji have his honoured one moment I’m glad this aged well lol
everyone gonna die apart from one person, (tho gege said this i beleive he might change his mind) I dont think anyone is cooking anymore apart from Sukuna.) but I honestly think he should decide to extend the manga. and write it for longer.
@@gtassa01 Well since Gojo, Takaba, Higaruma and of course Nobara are dead, then we can safely assume that Gege decided to go with ending where Yuji lives and everyone dies. UNLESS, the whole merger process will somehow bring back to life everyone who died so far but for the price of Yuji's life. Both situations would fit the themes of Yuji's character, as in first situation he would fulfill wish of his grandfather of saving people and dying surrounded by his friends and in later he would fulfill themes of JJK verse of misery and cruelty of jujutsu.
It was implied before when the students were talking that if sakunas cleaves can bypass Gojo limitless it’s sakunas win. The entire battle for sakuna was to learn a way to do that.
And that just validates how much of a threat Gojo and his Limitless were for both Sukuna and Kenjaku. There's no way Heian-era Sukuna gives Gojo a high diff fight, forget about making him Go/Jo.
Im still mind blown people belive this. Yes, this fight was for Sukuna to upgrade his CT, thats it. He could have killed Gojo way earlier but he just wanted a stronger technique. Thats it lol
After the conclusion of the fight, if you go back and reread it, the whole fight feels different. It feels like Sukuna is not even mentally focused in the fight, but like he's trying to solve a puzzle. It's like multitasking, or driving a car. You already know how to drive so you don't give that much thought to it and live it to your subconscious mind , while you're scrolling through the phone or doing smth else. Even in chapter 234 when he says: "Mahoraga this is not what I want to see", people where joking and saying he's afraid and calling daddy Mahoraga for help, meanwhile my man wasn't even focused on Gojo, he was just trying to solve the puzzle of infinity on his mind. Sukuna the goat fr, this fight made me like him even more, too bad he has to eventually lose
That's what I been saying but these gojo meat suckers just can't accept the truth. The fact that sukuna was using gojo as a stepping stone to learn new techniques while gojo was trying to kill him says it all
Idk what the entire point of the argument is, what does it matter who’s stronger? Both of them are great characters so why do so many people seem to stubbornly stick to one side, constantly trying to devalue the other? The gojo fans calling sukuna a fraud are fcking retarded, but I also can’t stand the sukuna fans who constantly meat ride him. Both sides that can’t appreciate the other are honestly irritating the fuck out of me rn.
Sukuna outplayed Gojo. Gojo believed if he stopped maha, sukuna would cease to be a threat. He was partially correct. If Gojo took out maha before Sukuna learned how to bypass infinity. Gojo would probably win. But what Gojo didn’t take into account, was that Sukuna would learn how to bypass infinity for himself and use what he learned to land a fatal blow. Once you understand this, it makes sense why Gojo lost. Updated thought I also think people didn’t pay close attention to the words said throughout the fight as well as Gojo’s character throughout the entirety of the story. When Sukuna mentions pealing the scales off Gojo. One might think he’s only referring to Gojo’s infinity. Well that is partially true, but Sukuna wanted to not only bypass infinity but shatter the walls gojo had also put up psychologically. He wanted to prove that Gojo was not untouchable literally and metaphorically. Gojo felt isolated due to being the strongest and the burdens being the strongest places on one individual person alone. Hence why he wanted to raise the next generation of strong sorcerers. So that they could all help each other and not have to feel the same burden Gojo had to feel. So the way I see it, Sukuna cutting Gojo down finally gave gojo the peace he was seeking for, for so long. As of Right now, Gojo hasn’t completely lost. The battles of ideologies are still very much prominent. Gojo’s ideology’s taking the form of yuta, Yuji, maki, higuruma, hakari and ect. Multiple people, all sharing the burden of being the strongest. Rather than relying on one person. Sukuna’s ideology takes the form of selfishness, everything he has done through this story has been to solely make himself stronger. WHO’s ideology will come out on top? Satouro Gojo? Or ryomen Sukuna?
@@Kyuubey0406 no ik you are, Gojo could not focus or control enough of his CE output to accurately finish Sukuna with hollow purple. That’s why he self destructed. It was a 50/50 gamble that Gojo risked because of a moment of overconfidence.
Why do you guys fight over who beats who? It makes no sense why you get so aggressive when one beats the other, its a fictional character if there's a reason to be mad be mad, but don't constantly shove this hate in the face of everyone and everything that mentions the thing you hate, it gets annoying after a month of stupid comments over Sukuna fanboys and fangirls constantly shoving shitty and cringy fucking remarks about Gojo fans rightfully being upset at him getting off screened and acting like they have no reason to be upset, not to mention the entire fight he had the upper hand and he hit a maximum purple at the end, sukuna shouldn't have even had the energy to do the world cutting slash considering HE HIMSELF SAID ITS EXTREMELY exhausting and he was completely out of cursed energy at the end but he just so happened to be at high enough energy to use it, here is a way better thing they could've done. Make him transform and get all his energy back (he did get his energy back just not his domain it didn't heal his brain) and THEN do the world slash ONSCREEN would've been a lot better of an ending to Gojo. So please instead of being a complete dickhead to someone being mad or upset about gojo getting off screened then PLEASE just explain your reason to why sukuna should've won id rather hear a logical or shitty explanation then stupid or cringy insults for over a month.@@Wannabe_Chemist
People say "no way Sukuna held back, he was panicked." Holding back ≠ Not trying. (I think) he wanted to master 10 Shadows & dissect Infinity, not just kill Gojo, and risked his life several times to do it. *He really was panicked.* He could have made the fight easier by using his full arsenal, but he wanted to grow.
I feel like he could have killed Gojo in other ways, but he wanted to dissect Infinity first. I think his goal was to come out stronger, not just win. Maybe I'm reaching, though.
Yeah there's a difference. If Sukuna wasn't trying then he would be effortlessly dodging Gojo and casually blitzing. Holding back just meant that he handicapped himself, so he's still technically trying, he's just not going all out.
Why would he go through all the trouble of mastering 10 shadows just to SEEMINGLY lose all the shikigami at the end of the fight. Especially if he could have just destroyed Gojo outright. If Sukuna was “holding back” then I think “holding back” in this case means not using every technique regardless of if it would have been effective or not. Just cause one secret trick won’t work on gojo doesn’t mean he shouldn’t save it for someone it would work on.
@@tootat132if his other techniques are " useless " or wouldnt work in this fight, the writer wouldnt say " he was holding back " multiple times ( said by kusakabe and gojo himself who was fighging sukuna and who got the 6 eyes) , like what is the point from saying he was holding back" just for him to be hiding some ass techniques which wont work against Gojo?
@@gabrieletraini3849almost as if it was a shock factor scene that gave sukuna an ecen more ominous aura. It actually is good writting since anyway gojo can't dodge a dismantle. If anything, the moment between the end of previous chapter and gojo getting cutted is half is like, instantaneous in term of time gap. It was actually what goji and the other saw. "Hey he's winning !" To "Wait what the hell he's dead ?!!"
27:36 this is actually the most important point in this fight. Sukuna had the option to destroy unlimited void from inside. He could've avoided the 3 min fight this way and would never get hit with unlimited void. But at the same time, it's guaranteed that gojo would always get a brain damage after 5 continuous domain expansions. So after domain clashes, gojo would be facing a sukuna who can use domain, while he wouldn't be able to. Gojo's RCT output would also be dropping rapidly. The reason sukuna didn't go for it is probably because staying inside unlimited void for a longer period of time was beneficial for the adaptation process. Gojo and sukuna confirmed that adaptation is gradual. If you read chapter 229, you can see that gojo is actively using limitless to thrash around sukuna inside the domain. It means sukuna even stopped using domain amplification inside domain. This is probably why gojo mentioned he's unsure he could beat sukuna even if he didn't have ten shadows.
A lot of the fight changes with that final chapter, I mean even in 234 when Sukuna says "Mahoraga, this isn't what I want to see" You first think he's talking about his battle performance against Gojo, but with 236, now it's revealed that he was talking about efficiently helping Sukuna create a blueprint to cut space. Gege did so well with the fight!
I would also like to add to this as sukuna inside gojo shrunken domain expansion it's implied that sukuna was using domain amplification to to touch gojo as to not be hit by unlimited void and he turned off his domain on the inside, to attack gojos domain on the outside. So basically you have sukuna who has nothing but hands facing gojo in his own domain who has access to all cursed his techniques. He not only has to fight him bit has to make sure he doesn'tlose contact with gojo as to not get hit with infinite void. We only see sukuna suffering damage which is what people focus on and not what is implied. Gojo with that advantage should have been able to do more. He later does this again when gojo and sukuna don't have access to their domain expansion and sukuna has the wheel above his head. Sukuna again only has hands while gojo has his entire cursed technique arsenal but he only manages to land effective hits after using tricks. Gojo does knock sukuna out (This is what everyone focuses on) but is unable to do serious damage. He should have done more. I think sukuna basically did gojo like how Saitama did boros he intentionally held back to give gojo the satisfaction of going all out. Sukuna was nervous in 235 probably regretting holding back but in the end it worked out for him.
I think open domain don't amp stats and the domain still got destroyed sakuna didn't do it to allow Megumi to adapt by staying in unlimited void for longer and get Mahoraga to be able to destroy unlimited void if Gojo managed to hit him with unlimited void.
Thank u 4 acknowledging that fact. Gojo literally states that "He (Sukuna) didn't try 2 destroy it (Gojo's DE) from the inside; he chose the riskier option". People just took that statement as headcannon and continued to meat ride and glaze Gojo anyway like how do Gojo fans not understand what they're reading😂
I think its clear why Gojo said Sukuma held back. Of course its becauses of his cursed techniques not being used but mostly because all Sukuna needed was a model to bypass infinity...Maha showdd him but this is something that was within his power. A rematch without 10s would depend on if Sukuna could figure it out himself.
Yeah but this is a 19f 2 arms form Sukuna with 10S. Remember, Sukuna still has his final finger to get his original 4 arms form and don't forget he still has to find his Heian Era Spear and Dagger of some sort. Sukuna still has more mysterious abilities once he gets them.
@@Xiong-f2lyall need to stop using “19F Sukuna”. Sukuna literally stated that he could his mummified body to boost his strength back to 20F worth. He held back in terms of using his CT in its 100% because all he needed is a Cleave that can bypass Infinity. Also, it was never stated that by consuming 20Fs, he’ll get his 4 arms form. Stop mixing your head cannon to facts. If the last finger is gonna come into play, it’s gonna be for something else. Either Sukuna getting trouble and eating it to replenish his CE or Yuji using it to his advantage.
It’s not a reach for Sukuna to come to the same conclusion because of just how smart he is and knowledgeable when it comes to jujutsu. The only difference would be how long it wouldve taken him and it wouldve been more physical = harder fight but at the same time, it wouldve allowed Sukuna to utilize everything that his CT could do. It wouldve been troublesome for Gojo either way. He struggled during the first half of the fight. I doubt it wouldve gotten better for him if Sukuna also adjusted his techs along with him. The only thing that was stopping Sukuna from killing Gojo is the Infinity but even with that advantage, Gojo couldnt finish off Sukuna before he used TS.
@@benosmith5997 yeah it’s easy to win when plot needs you to😭 gojo made sukuna look like a novice the entire battle and y’all are so happy he lands one hit that couldn’t kill gojo normally but since plot demands it he had to lose. Y’all are pathetically desperate, if y’all know that shit was garbage🤣 bunch of clowns, but losers will take what they can get I guess
Imo, this fight is one of the best written fights in modern Shonen. Gojo having hacks with is Infinity technique, Sukuna was only solving the puzzle on how to bypass it. He already knew how to kill Satoru, but all he needed was that blind spot in order to bypass the infinity
Def taking the title of best fight of 2025. But it’s gonna have a lot of competition because other big anime’s will release that year too meaning it may or may not take the title
I just noticed, they talk about how curses techniques are stored inside a black box. That "open" technique from Sukuna, maybe everyone already thinks this but, seems like Sukuna can "open" that box in order to learn new ways of utilizing his cursed energy (hence him utilizing fire against Jogo, he would've learned how to use "fire cursed technique", and use it, in a basic form cause he just learned it, but using it anyway), it would be like Copy from Yuta, but without the "ritual" short cut given by the technique, but instead by understanding CE so well. Probably can't use it nicely against more complex techniques, like the infinity. Or maybe I'm just talking nonesense 😅
Crazy how you went in depth on the explanation for Gojo’s punches and Maho’s immunity to blue’s magnetism but not the one thing I was confused about😂 megumi’s soul tanking infinite void
How I kind of understood it is basically Sukuna switched with Megumi and made him take the hit, and then immediately took the body back so he could stay alive still. It's like how Sukuna took out Yuji's heart, but was still able to live as long as he was in control. Basically, Gojo killed Megumi is what I understood from that.
@@manavdevsingh5492Not really since it also affected sukuna he was in the domain 9 seconds, is more like mahito with the soul thing since sukuna was able to also injure him, that he know more about it than we believe so he was able to make megumi take the damage without giving him the control, is hard to explain 😅
An absolutely beautiful fight! The two most lonely people in the world giving it all they have. Both satisfied with each other. Gojo has died the only way he wanted, trusting his students and leaving it to them. While Sukuna is also satisfied "stand proud l, you're strong"
Make Sukuna more proactive in the fight and wank Gojo a bit less. The insane contrast btween 236 and 235 made a lot of people pissed, beyond the obvious fact that Gojo lost.
I wonder if Dismantle and Cleave aren't really Sukuna's original CT. Seeing exactly how powerful Sukuna is, it makes me wonder if Sukuna's CT is the ability to copy other CT's as long as it's physically possible for Sukuna to perform. I know Cleave and Dismantle probably are, but seeing how Sukuna instantly understood Maharaga and exactly how useful Maharaga could become, it's like a clue. Sukuna could see what Maharaga is capable of because he's a sorcerer that's able to witness and analyze CTs and abilities to the point that he can copy them after witnessing them a single time. Sukuna is still a sorcerer that happened to turn himself into a curse, but he is still a sorcerer at the end of the day. So he needed Maharaga to show him the way to bypass Infinity in a manner that he was physically able to do. As Maharaga could simply change the essence of his cursed energy to be able to negate Infinity, essentially adding a salt sprinkle of Infinity to himself, so that he would be able to physically affect Gojo's technique. If Gojo fought Sukuna without Sukuna knowing Gojo's abilities and power, Gojo would have definitely won. But Sukuna is simply such a powerful Sorcerer, the pure amount of cursed energy he has is insane. Plus he's a genius that understands the basis of Jujutsu, to the point that he could understand and learn pretty much any technique that is physically possible to perform. So Sukuna vs Gojo, if Sukuna had knowledge of Gojo's abilities, Gojo is getting that ass beat. Sukuna is a prodigy amongst prodigies and this fight proved that. But to help others cope, then yes. Had Sukuna fought Gojo without knowing how Gojo's abilities worked, Gojo most likely would have won. Sukuna would have had to spam Malovelent Shrine to continually destroy Unlimited Void, and that would be Sukuna's key to beating Gojo. And honestly, Gojo still might lose. He only knew how to counteract MS because of the time he spent in the Prison Realm. There are literally so many ways this could have gone, which is what's amazing about JJK. But Sukuna knowing Gojo's abilities beforehand AND having possession over Megumi *with access to Ten Shadows?* Ain't no way in hell Gojo was ever going to beat this man.
Interesting theory, I don't think it's copy seeing as Sukuna said he didn't know if he was born strong or became the strongest and he said he didn't know but he bet he was a creepy kid which tells me he probably had a great level of strength considering the strength of the heian era as well as the culture and how it's kill or be killed as a way of life.
@@SubmissiveShyBoy true. I don't really believe this theory I made either, although it is an option that could be plausible. But it's extremely unlikely to be the case lol. I just thought of this because when speculating, any option could be interesting going forward.
I have to say Gojo impressed me more with how he used the tools he had at his disposal. Given that Sukuna had an automatic win condition that Gojo was in the dark on how it worked, the odds seem unbelievably stacked against Gojo. To me that shows that Sukuna just had more information rather than being "stronger" than Gojo. Sukuna just needed time to set up what he needed to win but Gojo could wait forever but would still be in the dark about how Mahogara's adaptation really worked. You had to seal him, or use deux ex mahogara to find a way to adapt to infinity but props to Sukuna for doing it himself only after Mahogara did the heavy lifting. But bro basically had prep time while doing recon for the whole series to be able to pull it off. It leaves me satified knowing Gojo was the strongest cause no one could really throw hands with him and Sukuna just outsmarted with info Gojo was couldn't have- exactly like Toji did him in.
I've seen people mention how gojo is dressed like toji but I haven't seen anyone mention how he died like toji too. They're both standing. Well for gojo it's just his legs but still.
Thanks for this video, I’m not one to read mangas especially ones so far along yet you’ve recapped all of what I wanted to know for the story and in such a telling way, gained my sub and like❤
I think the entire battle was beautifully written. The only minimal problem is that Gojo did not use teleport.. but I think that his ego was on the way
he did end up teleporting when he went to intercept mahoraga from destroying blue gojo cant actually teleport he just uses blue to pull him to locations instantly--thus why it was utilized so well when making the impromptu purple
Brilliant fight, sukuna coming into this fight with complete knowledge of gojos attacks, having witnessed all but purple in yuji's body, which he experiences at the start anyway, the buildup to this even in the first chapter, of him saying "this guys insanely fast, no thats not it" showing he was already figuring out ways to understand and best gojo's hax, just great. I would've almost preffered if gojo's purple killed sukuna at the same time as him being slashed, ending it in a draw, leaving kenjaku as the real big bad ( which he kinda is tbh ) but hey ho i trust my boy to write it better than i can so we'll jus see
You did the best and understand the JJK story bro, no need to argue with Gojo fans who literally wouldn't let you win in an argument using their illogical reason 😊
Cleave should literally be able to take out Gojo in one hit. It’s literally the whole point of the Cleave technique. Yet somehow Gojo is just able to tank it with no explanation. Their were so many asspulls and plot holes in this fight that I noticed throughout and Gojo fans were just coping and being delusional to the point that they were ignoring all of these things.
fraudkuna fans when they win to ass pull try to justify every shitty writing geygey throw them... Oh sukuna killed gojo so i don't care it's ass pull or not 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
i think no one saw it but if you see 1:09:37 where there is the maid and riko laughing, you can spot toji on the right of the panel. I like how gege didn't forgot about toji even after a long time.
Gojo made the mistake of thinking it needed a certain amount of spins to adapt… we only learned after mahoraga adapts after one attack, however it continues to analyze the attack so it effectively counter it… mahoraga only needs time after taking the attack once to find an adaptation that can defeat the user. Furthermore gojo continuing to attack only sped up the analysis of limitless…
Gojo was the honored one and Sukuna is the fallen one he stated it himself. Gojo was enlightened through something to become the honored one byt Sukuna was enlightened through a different value which led him becoming the fallen one
The thing no one seems to get about jjk is that they treat the fights like real fights in the sense that: as long as the “weight” and skill are equal, the outcome will depend on the style and circumstance in which the fight takes place.
Amazing Fight: Gojo vs Sukan Both displayed incredible heart. I really thought Gojo would upset Puma after showing us what he can do vs. the flaming cursed spirit, Jogo. Still can’t believe he brought Iytadory to spectate that clash. Hilariously epic. Puma showed us his heart in this one. It was close. Go Jo really is amazing. 😇
I love how gojo is no doubt the strongest . Gojo doesn’t aquire new powers through others. It’s all through himself and what he was born with. Bc Gojo has always been alone. To lose bc you’re even more alone than the most evil person in history. I love how sekuna needed megami to beat gojo. Fulfilling the idea that megami could be on gojos level like his father
People really think that Maharoga is not only Carrying Sukuna but he is also stronger than Ryomen. No Tamed Shikigami is stronger than the person who summoned them. Once Maharoga served his purpose my boi the fallen one didn't give a fuck about them Shikigami. Ryomen used the 10 Shadows and Satoru as training to get his own techniques stronger. Sukuna did not need the 10 shadows but why would anyone pass up on a opportunity to improve himself especially The Fallen One.
gojo never had to learn other techniques because his was so overwhelmingly strong, puts him at a disadvantage against someone like sukuna especially paired with adaption.
How did u edit this so fast? Also, I love your videos, I could watch you talk for hours. Given the events of the recent chapter, do you ever plan to make an anysis of Gojo like the one you did of toji.
His aptitude and the fact that he hasn’t explained a single thing out loud yet, unless somehow the “fish on my cutting board” line comes to mean something eventually.
It's a math thing. The output of Gojo's CE enhancing his body is enough to make the output of Sukuna's domain lower, making the cuts shallower. When he actually cut him in half at the end he caught Gojo off-guard and it was a even more broken slash, basically a Reality Slash from D&D, so I'd cut anything in half
@@macktheknifee9301 the slash at the end would've cut through gojo even if he had amplified himself like the first time. the slash cut through everything in existence between the slash and the target, so it basically just goes through infinity
I still don't understand domain amplification! Like even hakari's domain i understands the basics a lil bit but this? Nah no clue 8:22 so domain Amplification is basically infinity 2.0 considering the limitless space in a domain 18:20 So is sukuna using 2 domains at once? Also 23:54 since finding the edge of a domain is so impossible why don't they reverse the domain conditions in the first place? 37:18 i'm wit u on that 1 42:27 😂 53:50 Maki slander? 1:06:40 Best jjk qoute
the best way to explain the domain expansions is that its litterely warping space, theyre basiaclly making pocket dimensions. the reason sukuna's diomain expansions is praised so much is because he does it without putting it in that other dimension, he just plops his shit in the real world
@tylerberman7527 i don't see how an open domain = domain amplification cus sukuna uses a binding vow to use open domain while domain amplification is an actual ability
@@mimittadidi2674 his point also doesnt prove anything. Its like saying ghost exists because there are noises in the house but finding out the noises were caused by rats then your genius ass saying "but there could be both a ghost and a rat" 😂. I knew Gojo would lose for the sake of the plot, but the more and more I read each and every chapter I was being to believe that Gojo would win and Gojo put up the best fight Sukuna has ever had Sukuna gave Gojo his respect so because of that I'm satisfied Gojo put in work made Sukuna a donut 3 times the last one knocked him out all 4 eyes turned white
@tarigshepherd4356 CAP Gojo made that man feel fear for the first time in 1,000 years that was his best fight cause all we know is that back in the day Sukuna beat everybody nobody could step to him and look what Gojo did even the bitch Angel was hating on Gojo

Going back and seeing this fight from start to finish actually made me appreciate the way in which Gojo died compared to the first time when I actually read it for myself. Gojo did give it his all knowing that deep down he was still going to lose the fight. He served his purpose in fighting him. I still don't think he should be revived at any point in the story going on or that whole chapter 236 would make no damn sense. He put in that work but it was never going to be enough and that's okay.
keep in mind the manga gave sukana the title of the honored one many people seem to forget this. That Gojo didn't earn the title he gave the title to himself by saying it outloud self-proclaiming he himself was the Honored one.
@cosmicsins2183 not so sure but it was when mahito used his domain a second time and yuji broke into it,causing mahitos cursed technique idle transfiguration to take effect on yujis and sukunas souls then sukuna cut mahito with what I think is a soul dismantle then nanami says and I quote "Tenjou tenge, yuiga dokuson" Basically calling sukuna the honored one
Biggest asspull in this fight is Gojo surviving Malevolent Shrine 1st "Cleave, which can be adjusted depending on the target's toughness and Curse Energy level to cut them down in one fell swoop" ~ Narrator 2nd Sukuna has highest amount of Curse Energy in the series, minimum 2 times of Yuta's CE 3rd Domain Expansion Boasts Curse Technique power So Gojo without CT survived same DE that wiped out Shibuya Did Gege forgot about Cleave that time ??? Why Cleave didn't adjust to Gojo and Cut him down in one fell swoop???
Im pretty sure cleave even if it did adjust to gojo CE it would be able to get past infinity hense why he needed maharaga to show him how to adjust his cleave to cut infinity
Yea, that was countless of 120% amped cleaves in a second , and that continued on for like a minute. One single cleave with more than twice of Yuta’s cursed energy amped to the 120% should have been able to cut through any reinforced body. Technically, cleave should be able to cut down something with less cursed energy reinforcing it, so Sukuna’s 120% cleave should already be an overkill , hell, a triple overkill in terms of cursed energy differences
@@TheSamuraiMetroid I'm talking about 1st Domain clash In Sure hit Domain Expansion CT ignores Infinity, it's Guaranteed Hit attack So Gojo without infinity survived Cleave boasted by DE that attacks thousands times in a minute That's Bullshit, complete asspull That DE cleave is way more dangerous than Space/existence cutting cleave because both ignores Infinity and DE cleave is 120%
I think the main thing people missed was what the point of the dismantle at the beginning of the fight was. Sukuna used dismantle to attempt to see whether Gojo could perceive it just like Kashimo, Mahoraga, and Maki can. But since it cut the building and Gojo was surprised it wasn’t aimed at him, it showed Sukuna he could catch Gojo unaware when using dismantle. This sets up and also proves the world slash was Sukuna’s plan at the beginning of the fight(although still not knowing the method of slashing)
When I refer back to this fight as the manga ends. Utilizing the ten shadows was simply the best chance, especially in Sukunas hands because no other user is surviving the damage that Gojo was putting out and would rush summon Mahoraga leading to its destruction on site. I think it’s missed how much Sukuna respected Gojos strength, he not only had megumis body but had his original form ready ,fully expecting to take tons of damage. There was no guidance on what he needed to do to create a new slash without Mahoraga and having all of Gojos techniques explained to him by Kenjaku. I totally enjoy that with the manga it’s clear as day there was only two at the pinnacle. Something to note that everyone tried to reference was a full arsenal that didn’t exist
I will die on this hill I still say that without Mahoraga and The 10 Shadows Technique Sukuna would have lost it still would of been extremely difficult for both Sukuna and Gojo tho

It was implied before when the students were talking that if sakunas cleaves can bypass Gojo limitless it’s sakunas win. The entire battle for sakuna was to learn a way to do that.

Updated thought
I also think people didn’t pay close attention to the words said throughout the fight as well as Gojo’s character throughout the entirety of the story.

People say "no way Sukuna held back, he was panicked."
Holding back ≠ Not trying. (I think) he wanted to master 10 Shadows & dissect Infinity, not just kill Gojo, and risked his life several times to do it. *He really was panicked.*
He could have made the fight easier by using his full arsenal, but he wanted to grow.
This is the truth. He had other things but he chose the easiest option not the only option.

10:05 got me man. “Random fodder mask dude” is so unnecessary💀. Good video and funny as well, yuta jokes had me cracking up
27:36 this is actually the most important point in this fight.
A lot of the fight changes with that final chapter, I mean even in 234 when Sukuna says "Mahoraga, this isn't what I want to see"
You first think he's talking about his battle performance against Gojo, but with 236, now it's revealed that he was talking about efficiently helping Sukuna create a blueprint to cut space.
Gege did so well with the fight!
@@1hundred1 Yep. This is a really complicated fight and I love it. Truly the "battle of strongest".
I think its clear why Gojo said Sukuma held back.

Yeah there is. I wish that we got 2 c the full extent of Sukuna's CT and exactly what the hell it is
Gojo could've used his teleport more
@@mighty7579 That's a good 1
I wonder if Dismantle and Cleave aren't really Sukuna's original CT.

Once Maharoga served his purpose my boi the fallen one didn't give a fuck about them Shikigami. Ryomen used the 10 Shadows and Satoru as training to get his own techniques stronger. Sukuna did not need the 10 shadows but why would anyone pass up on a opportunity to improve himself especially The Fallen One.
he def did need it he has no win con without it
Really enjoyed this
gojo never had to learn other techniques because his was so overwhelmingly strong, puts him at a disadvantage against someone like sukuna especially paired with adaption.
Yuta beeing scared the most is sooo good with the new context
Looking back it’s wild how people genuinely thought hakari was stronger than Yuta 😂
And the fact that Yuji was perceived as a small fry at the time despite being the 3rd strongest person in the room 😂
man this is such a great video dude
Yuta is him bro he aint no mr 5 minutes.
Facts
I only just noticed that Gojo is dressed as Toji during their first fight.
How did u edit this so fast? Also, I love your videos, I could watch you talk for hours. Given the events of the recent chapter, do you ever plan to make an anysis of Gojo like the one you did of toji.
It's possible
Holy shine video!
Thanks for this g 🤜🤛
5 minute merchants crazy. I bet you eating those words rn
His aptitude and the fact that he hasn’t explained a single thing out loud yet, unless somehow the “fish on my cutting board” line comes to mean something eventually.
Why wasn’t Gojo cut in half by malevolent shrine the first time his domain broke?
It's a math thing. The output of Gojo's CE enhancing his body is enough to make the output of Sukuna's domain lower, making the cuts shallower. When he actually cut him in half at the end he caught Gojo off-guard and it was a even more broken slash, basically a Reality Slash from D&D, so I'd cut anything in half
@@macktheknifee9301 the slash at the end would've cut through gojo even if he had amplified himself like the first time.
the slash cut through everything in existence between the slash and the target, so it basically just goes through infinity
@@notHahaShorts I said in the end of my comment: ''so i'd cut anything in half''.
One of the best fights not only in JJK, but new gen manga. Can't wait for it to be adapted
27:01 oh so we could’ve guessed gojo dying the second makora used space cleave huh
Yes exactly
Honestly. Gege wrote both characters so well. Props to gege man bro is so good at writing
Gojo close to kept his promise but didn’t able to do so but
Sukuna kept his promise like he did say he will kill gojo and he really did
I still don't understand domain amplification! Like even hakari's domain i understands the basics a lil bit but this? Nah no clue
8:22 so domain Amplification is basically infinity 2.0 considering the limitless space in a domain
18:20 So is sukuna using 2 domains at once?
Also
23:54 since finding the edge of a domain is so impossible why don't they reverse the domain conditions in the first place?
37:18 i'm wit u on that 1
42:27 😂
53:50 Maki slander?
1:06:40 Best jjk qoute
the best way to explain the domain expansions is that its litterely warping space, theyre basiaclly making pocket dimensions. the reason sukuna's diomain expansions is praised so much is because he does it without putting it in that other dimension, he just plops his shit in the real world
@tylerberman7527 i already knew this
@@Human_traain then youve learned about it in the last 2 months cause in that comment you didnt
@tylerberman7527 i don't see how an open domain = domain amplification cus sukuna uses a binding vow to use open domain while domain amplification is an actual ability
Chapter 228 proves that Sukuna always had an option to kill Gojo in side his domains. Bruh GOAT played Gojo hard.
wrong 228 just proves sukuna's whole battleplan revolved around mahoraga and he wanted to get smacked so mahoraga could adapt
@@Faust4541your comment doesnt disprove his point .
@@Faust4541keep coping bud😂😂
It doesn’t prove it it’s a hypothetical
@@mimittadidi2674 his point also doesnt prove anything. Its like saying ghost exists because there are noises in the house but finding out the noises were caused by rats then your genius ass saying "but there could be both a ghost and a rat" 😂. There was simply no mention of other options to kill gojo
This is a great video, amazing explanation
I knew Gojo would lose for the sake of the plot, but the more and more I read each and every chapter I was being to believe that Gojo would win and Gojo put up the best fight Sukuna has ever had Sukuna gave Gojo his respect so because of that I'm satisfied Gojo put in work made Sukuna a donut 3 times the last one knocked him out all 4 eyes turned white
Sukuna never said that gojo was the best fight lol
@tarigshepherd4356 CAP Gojo made that man feel fear for the first time in 1,000 years that was his best fight cause all we know is that back in the day Sukuna beat everybody nobody could step to him and look what Gojo did even the bitch Angel was hating on Gojo
@@baronsamedi7659 he never said he was tho plus their different translation for 235 it didn’t say he was nervous but he felt the height of the tension and we don’t if anybody push him as hard or not in the heian era
@@tarigshepherd4356ok tell me Sukuna's best fight tell me somebody that put in that work in against Sukuna nobody except for Gojo
@@baronsamedi7659 nobody knows how he’s fight went in the heian era all we know is he undefeated and sukuna never said gojo was he’s strongest opponent
22:40 took me a sec to figure out why u called him Mr stopwatch,Then I bust out laughing 😂
21:50 this aged well
@@Headpat07 The minute I heard that I had to check if anyone left this exact comment
1:10:10 what's that music
36:16 Cya strongest, a guy that was born when i didn't exist, an ordinary guy, my favorite speech from sukuna
i still don't know why people say that gojos better in h2h combat. Sukuna simply didn't use DA so whats the point in h2 combat if he cant touch gojo.
because even when he was using it he was getting overpowered also it didnt amp him enough
Whats the music at 1:08:45?
ashes of dream nier replicant
What’s the song you used at 1:04:18 ? That sh!t gives goosebumps 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nier Replicant - Ashes of Dreams
@@eyeseagle6299 thanks but it doesn’t sound the same…
keep in mind the manga gave sukana the title of the honored one many people seem to forget this. That Gojo didn't earn the title he gave the title to himself by saying it outloud self-proclaiming he himself was the Honored one.
What chapter ?
@cosmicsins2183 not so sure but it was when mahito used his domain a second time and yuji broke into it,causing mahitos cursed technique idle transfiguration to take effect on yujis and sukunas souls
then sukuna cut mahito with what I think is a soul dismantle
then nanami says and I quote
"Tenjou tenge, yuiga dokuson"
Basically calling sukuna the honored one
Yo son put some respect on my mans panda he’s a good boy
Biggest asspull in this fight is Gojo surviving Malevolent Shrine
1st "Cleave, which can be adjusted depending on the target's toughness and Curse Energy level to cut them down in one fell swoop" ~ Narrator
2nd Sukuna has highest amount of Curse Energy in the series, minimum 2 times of Yuta's CE
3rd Domain Expansion Boasts Curse Technique power
So Gojo without CT survived same DE that wiped out Shibuya
Did Gege forgot about Cleave that time ???
Bro just copy pasted dismantle's description to cleave fr 💀
@@cybertrex5649 Isn’t dismantle the “default slashing attack”? Correct me if I’m wrong
@@TheSamuraiMetroid I'm talking about 1st Domain clash
In Sure hit Domain Expansion CT ignores Infinity, it's Guaranteed Hit attack
So Gojo without infinity survived Cleave boasted by DE that attacks thousands times in a minute
That's Bullshit, complete asspull
That DE cleave is way more dangerous than Space/existence cutting cleave because both ignores Infinity and DE cleave is 120%
I think the main thing people missed was what the point of the dismantle at the beginning of the fight was.
So if sukuna didn't have mahoraga or the ten shadows in general he would have lost eventually
not at all
12:50 Dude has Gael's battle theme from Dark Souls III, nice touch
calling ino random mask dude is kinda crazy 15:30 💀
When I refer back to this fight as the manga ends. Utilizing the ten shadows was simply the best chance, especially in Sukunas hands because no other user is surviving the damage that Gojo was putting out and would rush summon Mahoraga leading to its destruction on site. I think it’s missed how much Sukuna respected Gojos strength, he not only had megumis body but had his original form ready ,fully
expecting to take tons of damage.
Love the video
Random fodder mask dude is a wild way to describe my guy(I can’t remember his name)
Man’s keep saying Kusakabe-Akutami 😂😂😂😂😂
