Superman's re-entry gives me chills everytime, and that sync with lightning, just perfect.

As much as MCU is my favorite franchise, I still really love this DCEU fights, the sheer damage, impact and fast paced action this movie has is just EPIC
And darkness. Real combat. I love MCU but it's still for children. Then there's Logan and Deadpool

If it was solely aimed at children, the movies would be rated G with no violence, swearing (even milder swearing), or anything else like that! Plus, there's characters in Marvel who are NOT aimed at children whatsoever, and those characters will likely be getting MCU films! I'm talking characters like Deadpool and Punisher! Deadpool 3 is already 100% confirmed to be in the MCU, and Punisher will get an MCU film at some point as well! Even the vast majority of DC films- even those that are rated R- are nothing compared to Deadpool or the Punisher! There's other characters like that as well!

Notice how Diana hears Superman before he breaks the sound barrier. It’s the little details
Notice how you are overanalysing. He broke it twice apparently. A sonic boom can only be heard after a projectile passes you and not before. This isn’t a “little detail”, It’s just simple cinematography. She hears a first “sonic boom”, she looks, camera follows, we see superman fly in, another “sonic boom”. If he supposedly broke the barrier she wouldn’t have heard him coming. The boom sounds don’t make sense and only serves a purpose to show how fast superman flies in entry and exit of a shot but it sure looks cool. So no, it isn’t a detail. It’s just a classic example of directors not thinking through.

2:21 - 3:12 this is one of, if not the best comic book live adaptation fight scene I've ever witnessed in my entire existence so far.

The thing about what makes this Superman realistic is that, he couldn't fight as well as Diana and Bruce. If you notice Doomsday was letting him have it most of the time.
He wasn't trained in combat the way Diana was as an Amazonian or Bruce in daily fights with the criminal world. Superman just had, well super powers, and technically never had to train or worry about CQC, at least until he match equal beings.

I know I'm probably not the only one but I just want to say that this was one of the most epic moments I've experienced in a movie theater. I grew up watching and reading comics about Wonder Woman, always loved her. So, when I saw her appear in a movie for the first time in my life, I couldn't get over myself. Everything about was amazing, Gal did an excellect job and the fight will always stay in my memory. I was so excited I almost cried haha.
2:34 the combo and the ground smashing scene is beyond comprehension, Snyder and the team made this fight scene like a battle from greek mythology.

Say what you want about Zack Snyder but the cinematography in this fight is on a completely different level idc how you feel about this movie or if you’re a marvel stan you absolutely cannot deny the fact that this is one of the best live action superhero fight scenes in history and Wonder Woman’s entrance is one of the best superhero entrances of all time everything from her theme to fighting Doomsday with Superman was amazing and an excellently executed debut for her

To me the most noticeable thing about Justice League is the action scenes lacked "weight". Here and Man of Steel, the fights feel hefty, you feel the blows. The cgi is convincing enough to buy that these characters are real. In Justice League everything feels cartoony, none of it flows

This is why I love Batman. He has no superpowers at all, no invincible suit of armor or shield but he is battling an alien creature that’s as powerful as Superman just because he’s the only person who can do it.
*I was rewatching BvS Ultimate Edition tonight and for the first time I cried while watching it. I felt Martha Kent's pain as she placed her dead husband's photo on her dead son's body at Clarks funeral. The more I rewatch that movie, the more I love it. It truly is a masterpiece.*

Luc Germain I agree but once again what Zack had planned for Superman since Man Of Steel has been ruined by corporate executives and the studio in general to the point that we have this convoluted plot and underdeveloped characters (Justice League) Not to mention Marvel’s massive success and the DCEU trying to keep a box office audience. The writing for this movie in particular isn’t awful convoluted yes, but awful No, awful would be Green lantern, X men origins, Fan4stic, Thor Darkworld, Superman 2006 etc....besides that madness, Cavil’s portrayal is legendary and unique yes not only for the visuals but his character arc. Everybody loses their mind about Superman killing Zod and the massive destruction being caused during literally godlike fights but if you read the comics and watch the old cartoons it’s all there Zack wasn’t just taking liberties with these films if anything he was bringing everything we needed from these characters to the box office and people were hating left and right, Same with Batfleck who in my opinion is the most interesting Batman portrayed on screen thus far.

He did everytime. Its just baffling to me how we live in a world where critics and dumbass execs both led to this amazing start to the dceu go to waste. And now all of a sudden DC sucks and marvel is superior. Where did we go wrong
3:30 I honestly dare someone to tell me the animated films have even remotely come to this level of comic book awesomeness. I mean, this fight is freaking amazing and the movie all by itself was phenomenal in every way. Zack Snyder is a visionary and he understood what was necessary to bring these characters and this story to life and WB took that vision away from him. Thank you HBO Max for giving Zack the chance to rectify the mistakes made by WB in trying to catch up to Marvel. We will finally get the Justice League film that was promised and it will be glorious, I just know it.

@Luc Germain You have the same problem most of the people who criticize Snyder share: You misuse the phrase "style over substance" . Because, of course Snyder puts much effort into his visuals, but that does not mean the substance is non existent. Because there's a difference between "style over substance" and "Show don't tell". Just take Sucker Punch's intro as an example. The whole scene is beautifully shot, but it's "Show don't tell" not "style over substance". I mean, the scene tells a big part of the story just with visuals and with not any word. You can also easily take BvS and scenes from it as examples how to combine style and substance well. Just look at the "Must there be a Superman?" - scene of BvS. Of course, it has great visuals, but alone with this scene Snyder gives Superman more substance than any other Superman - film before. Snyder throws a godlike being on earth and shows how people react to this paradigm shift. And that's just how it would look like, if there was a Superman in our world. Snyder doesn't just put Superman on earth and makes him immediately a perfect hero who also gets recognized as that by EVERYONE. No, he gives the character substance. Snyder shows Superman from new perspectives, apart from "Superman is a perfect hero." Oh, and the movie lacks at emotions? What about the "I miss you too, Dad" scene, or the Martha - scene, or the "Superman was never real" - scene etc. All very emotional and strong moments. But that's just my opinion.
Nate Borie see the prob with this film was that WB wanted to get to making justice league ASAP to counter marvel and the avengers we were supposed to get mos2 I believe but wb wanted Batman in included which turned into bvs this movie also I feel should’ve been two pr more parts one focusing on the Batman and Superman conflicts the other on doomsday. The death of Superman animated movie was also pretty great because of how terrifying and well developed doomsday was in that film. I enjoyed bvs but tbh I liked mos and ww a bit more because the directors had more time to develop and establish the characters of Superman and wonder woman

Wonder Woman's leap into the fray, doing her warcry as she charges in at Doomsday gets the adrenaline pumping every single freaking time. And let's not forget to praise Junkie XL's badass score for WW. she has the best theme out of any of them. Zack took an pretty cool character and made her a complete freaking badass!
That ww introduction and supes sonic boom will always be legendary and also that scene makes everyone at theaters jump out
