Men aged 18 to 60 are not allowed to leave the country without permission from the government. The male members of Jinjer were granted permission in June 2022 to allow them to serve as "cultural ambassadors".

I grew up a metal head in the 80s when it was new to the world. Now at the ripe old age of 57…I credit Jinjer with bringing me back to that same feeling of fresh intensity for the first time in 40 years. Enjoy the Jinjer train!

I'm in my 50s too, grew up in the early thrash scene in the Bay Area. Decades later a member of my extended family brought me back with the new wave of thrash with the band Warbringer.
Tatiana is a world-class growler. Jinjer has been one of my favorite metal bands for 6 years now. There are other female lead bands in the same league, like Archenemy, Ignea, Infected Rain, Butcher Babies, and Spirit Box. Jinjer is a rabbit hole that is well worth jumping into. A Jinjer song is a thrill ride. You never know what twists and turns it's going to take.
Walls of jericho is fronted by a great woman too.

Tatiana has mastered the false-fold scream. It's the part of the vocal chords that make a coughing sound, or clearing one's throat. Which is why she can go back and forth from scream to sing with no residual damage, because there is no damage. It's an entirely different origination of sound.

"I love her".... yes we all do. That's 100% her. There is a recent band who has a female singer doing similar vocals. It's called Monochromatic Black. I still prefer Tatiana. Every song she writes is very poetic. Jinjer is fantastic live. You can't go wrong with pretty much any of the official videos live or studio. A lot of reactors go to Perennial live at Wacken Open Air for a second reaction. Other good ones are Teacher Teacher, Pit of Consciousness Live in Kyiv, Judgement and Punishment One Take Vocal Performance, Who is Gonna be the One. They have well over 30 videos on UA-cam so that's just a short list.

Tatiana is a force to be reckoned with. She is absolutely amazing live. It doesn't surprise me it was FIR fans that suggested Jinjer to you. This past summer I went to see FIR in Vegas on July 22nd then flew back to West Texas and saw Jinjer in Lubbock on July 24th. It doesn't get much better than that.
I know you passed up the chance to go see FIR live because you didn't want to risk the integrity of your blind reactions. I can respect that but.... ARE YOU CRAZY? Never pass up a chance to see FIR live.

@@pauzeandrewindI was lucky and had the pleasure to watch Jinjer as support of "Bullet for my Valentine" in Hamburg, Germany. It wouldn't have needed BfmV as main act. Jinjer live ist killer. Especially if it is not at daylight and you can enjoy the light effects supporting the music. The whole band is so great and energy coming from stage flooding the audience. I watched Metallica in their best days and yeah that have been great shows. I was at Wacken several times.
But Jinjer is next lvl. Pure experience.

Everything they do is fire, homeback is one of my favourites
Her astrological sign is Pisces. She's describing the duality in her personality which is, supposedly, typical of a person born under the pisces sign. The description of a Piscean is... highly creative and imaginative, as well as compassionate and loving. Their emotional sensitivity factor is high, helping them to remain in tune with others but also leaving them vulnerable to criticism, worrying a lot about the effect that their actions might have on others.
"Home back", official video. Dope video, great song, incredible performance of all four members and especially Tati, VERY strong message that you really can't miss with the video.

I have seen Jinjer live and they are amazing live, both her and the rest of the band. Her voice really can go between the two extremes even in concert. Hearing Vortex and Teacher Teacher live was an incredible experience. Perennial is one of my favorite Jinjer songs. Definitely a band I would see again in concert.

Brother Tatiana is my favorite singer and the band is phenomenal. It's jinjer time and I will always be here for that . Tatiana is in my opinion the standard for the genre. I'm here for this rabbit hole. Her wrightig is very very poetic and thoughtful and you can see it in their music as well very eclectic and combined many different styles of music together.
Jinjer is one of my favorite bands. If you want to check out another song of theirs, I highly recommend “Teacher, Teacher.”

I'm 50 years old, and never really liked heavy metal, and especially hated growling. Tatiana introduced me to the genre a few years ago and converted me. They are now also my favourite band. I've since started exploring bands that Jinjer has listed as inspiration to them. I thought my music journey was done, but it just sped up again 😆

In answer to your question, yes there are a lot of women in metal who can do this, but Tatiana is one of the best. And yes, she does this live. Arch Enemy is a Swedish death metal that's also worth checking out as the two women who fronted the band can deliver the same type of performance.
Look up some of their live concert videos. She can do it and really can switch from growl to traditional on a dime.

Tatiana has described her songwriting style: she will take the music that the band have written and get a feel for the style and mood. She will go to her notebooks of memorable phrases. She will often write a prose version in Russian and then translate that into an English lyric and form a melody.
I'd recommend to continue with live versions of "Captain Clock" or "Pit of Consciousness"

This is the band that gives me hope for the future of music!
They're ENTIRE discography and everything live they've done (lots on YT!) is platinum gold quality, there is no better balance (the lyrics and vocals are Tatiana, the drums and piano are Vlad, Eugene has ridiculous bass skills, their guitarist is a lowkey assassin, and the sound guy is a flipping GENIUS!)
Everyone pulls their weight and pools their skills and lets thenothers shine at various times! I can think of NO other bands that can boast the same with the same quality of music!

If you want to see her in a "real live" environment, check their song "Pit of Conciousness" live in Kiev ... it's crazy and she gets even lower than here. This live performance has been edited a little after recording it, it has some chorus and harmonies... but she sings like this or better in a lot of live concerts... no tricks!!!

Tatiana is definitely an anomoly in the world of vocal fry. She is literally built for it. It's crazy how much unique variability in body shape and that goes down to lungs and throat, larynx ect her body and ability is just natural.
