Ward definitely earned his stripes. One of the greatest and greatest warriors.
True warriors use to fight to the death. It's sad we give the same title away to some guys in padded gloves. Times sure have changed, that's for sure.
@@LeftMindedThoughts yeah man. Boxing is a very ancient sport. Back in the day in ancient times they would fight to the death. Very barbaric. But um. Lol that's why they came up with rules. You don't need to die to feed your family. But you can still realistically but not as often or quick.
✝️
I love how relaxed mike is with micky. He doesn’t need to teach him anything… fellow boxer. Fellow warrior. Much respect for these two….. much respect between these two
It was a great run I give it all..... Thanks for standing behind me? Damn Micky u are a true legend we can't thank you enough... God bless you and your family
Whenever I need something inspiring or motivating I put on the DVDs I have of his fights with Gatti. Gets me so pumped up, ever single time that I end up in tears.
Micky is such a sweet guy, with the heart of a giant lion.
If your a boxing fanatic you truly appreciate seeing these two men , ward vs Gatti will never be forgotten the tenacity, strength and pure will they fought with during their Era was a beauty to witness. These fighters FOUGHT ...to this day I find myself watching Tysons fights its so nice to see him doing well and still showing us that no matter what life throws at you push thru it ....Iron Mike I salute you sir.
I'm not sure how Mike and Henry met but, I thank God they did. I've watched all the videos and I think they do awesome together.
Any boxer who gives it all in the ring time and time again are true modern day gladiators and deserve our respect and admiration.
Thanks so much Mickey your work ethic and heart are amazing. God bless you and yours.
Gatti vs Ward 1 is probably the most savage back and fourth war I've ever witnessed in boxing that went the distance. Their trilogy ranks number 1 historically in my opinion.
Truth
Ali vs Frazier, but to each their own
@@ChauncyCharm - Ali was my man but Macky vs. Gatti was MY favorite trilogy hands down.
No doubt....I also liked the Marco Antonio Barrera Morales fights.
@@petermendez5184 those were savage wars forsure
Yo that's crazy they both mentioned my hometown Troy,NY. I don't hear that often so that was cool asf
Epitome of a true fighter and tough guy. Respect from Liverpool. Remember him beating Shea Neary with devastating body shots. His triology with Gatti stands up in any era, bar none.
Cool to see a normal conversation between these two old legendary friends, you can tell Micky is just a good ole wholesome guy. Dude had the heart of a lion in Ward v Gatti 3!
Micky ward was a true fighter always showed up and fought toe to toe just my opinion he should be inducted into the hof for the memorable fights he gave us
Mickey Ward, there will never be another like him what a Man!

I love Micky Ward.. This great man is one of the real great stories in this sport we all love.. He never gave up in the ring. He stayed in there even when most would quit but Micky didn't know how to quit. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Micky and I would like to take this opportunity to wish him every success in his future endeavours and I also wish him and his family Health wealth and complete happiness.. Ward vs Gatti 1- Round 9 - Jim Lampley cried when he spoke about thisa unbelievable round of boxing. That alone showed what Miky and Arturo meant to the fans.. 2 great men in and out of the ring.

Micky Ward is a true boxing legend. Awesome durability and the heart of a pride of lions. True grit and doggedness. Micky Ward inspired everyone who saw him go to war. That skinny white kid was a tough son of a gun and be proud of him. Micky Ward's exciting sportsmanship of boxing and his endurance is the stuff of legends. You didn't forget his fights or his name. GOD bless you and your family. Thank you for such awesome inspiration of what a man can do. Puff puff pass Mike
Biggest heart in boxing and the toughest guy to ever lace 'em up
Two of my top 10 favorite boxers in one show. Epic!
RIP ARTURO, MICKY WARD 🙌 WHAT A FIGHTER
I became a Ward fan through Gatti. Of course I still wanted Gatti to win all of the fights, but the heart and courage that Mickey had made me a fan of his. Not to mention to see him get his just do for all the hard work he put in to the sport. Till this day Gatti, Holyfield and Marciano are my 3 favorite fighters. 3 guys who were underdogs yet rised up with sheer heart to becomes champions will always hold a special place for me
😂
