Khabib switching out of an armbar to a chokehold mid-fight for the sole reason of saving his victim's parents from seeing their son's arm snapped in two pieces is simultaneously the most bad ass yet respectful things I have ever heard

@@chrisg1772 he realized in the first attempt that gaethje ain't going to tap as Khabib said in interview that gaethje is tough so he's basically went for triangle choke to put him to sleep and going unconscious is better than getting your arm snapped.

He's just over all so grateful and hands down one of the most humblest human there is in life as well in the UFC organization. He's so unbelievably thankful and honored for everything he has in life with all of his success and accomplishments he has made throughout his career and life.
He is the opposite of humble.....humble people don't talk about how great they are.......Khabib is always bragging....."29-0" "undefeated" "these guys not on my level" over and over and over in every interview...you never see a fighter like GSP or Anderson Silva talk like that......A humble person would just show their greatness with action.......almost every person in my life is far more humble than Khabib....

Yesss, true. He gets things rolling. Good podcast
He did an amazing job relating difficult concepts to Khabib in English without doing the “caveman voice”. Bravo!
Well, Mike can barely speak in clear sentences and have a coherent conversation without someone babysitting/guiding him through a podcast at this point due to all the drugs and fights. Did he say that in this interview
@@andreabrembilla6466 I instantly searched whether he said that I didn't find the clip of Khabib saying this line
@@adnanfarooq3616 because some people find it fitting for his persona and they simply decide to lie and attribute it to him for the sake of likes.
I mean it's just sad, a good quote is in itself a form of art, and you just can't steal someone else's art like this.
Fake news
when Khabib fought Conor I was rooting for Conor but now looking back I'm so happy Khabib beat Conor. Khabib is a better person in every facet of life. we all should feel honored we got to see him compete

I feel like people back then completely mistook Khabib for some primitive, boring, religious guy instead of the true legend that he is.
When both legends talked about legend (MUHAMMAD ALI) and eager to meet with him by saying IN SHA ALLAH (if allah will) .. what a tremendous to watch 🇧🇩👏

He had to. Mike was high asf. It's disrespectful to your guest.

Khabib is a beautiful and fearsome person. Henry has proven to be a great competitor, plus speaker and Mike gives a lot of honest takes. Even if he isn't as pure as Khabib he is still a legend and really adds perspective.
I really enjoyed this podcast!!!
Agreed 👍
We owe Henry a big Thank You for being such a great co-Host.
Was basically the host
100% Henry great Co-host. Really helps he is super informed when it comes to MMA and he has great questions never allowing quite moments of awkwardness.
Bend the knee to Triple C
Quite the opposite. I really love Cejudo but he missed the mark for the majority of this podcast. Most of this seemed like a q&a between Henry and Khabib, about his career things which are already well known. 🤦🏻♂️
Missed opportunity for Khabib and Mike to go more back and forth on subjects like God, religion, philosophy, fight psychology etc. like he's done with other guests.
Oh well, more luck next time if Khabib ever returns to this podcast some day. 🤷🏻♂️🤲🏼👍🏼
@@nenap7423 Knowledgeable about MMA yes. But in this podcast at some moments he showed lack of knowledge about Mike history.
Two things about Buster Douglas: Henry started talking about Mcgregors recent tweets about father, and Khabib called conor evil for bringing up parents, and Henry asked Tyson his view about this, but they seemingly completely forgot how Tyson once infamously told Douglas he was going to reunite him with his dead mother in the buildup to their fight. (Obviously Mike was a different person back then, but still). Another similar issue: Khabib asked Tyson if he was in bad shape before the Douglas fight. However, it is written in Tysons autobio (and is even common knowledge) that he literally trained zero for that fight on purpose, and instead only slept around with ladies in his hotel he said.
