I see hlg in the listed formats. But it doesn't say hlg HDR. Does that help? Def feels like much better hardware than the Chromecast 4k IMHO. I think this one will love for a good 2 years before Google replaces it. Would be a solid upgrade especially if you have a second TV you could use the Chromecast 4k on.
I'd like to know how I can use the 32gb (plus additional storage using a USB hub). To be honest, I don't see a lot of advantages. If I could stream my photos or my home videos through it, I would be happier. It does very little more that my Smart TV does.
You can def play your photos or home videos on it. If you have Google photos on your phone, you can also connect that via your Google account and they'll become your screensaver. Plus you can install various apps from the Google play store. 32gb disappears very quickly with an actual smart TV box like this.
Wait, can you have multiple views (from your 3 cameras) on at the same time? That seems like the most useful feature for security purposes. Thanks for the deep dives.
Now the question is will these features come to Sony Google TVs or do you have to buy a Streamer just to get all this ? And that favourite button should be included on all Sony remotes!
I just recently got the new google streamer, i was curious about the AI screensaver feature. When i follow your steps it doesnt give me those options. Are you on a beta test version or is it a staged rollout. Not sure if you know the answer
Great video i love my google 4k streamer.Only bug bare is we don't get all the features in the uk.
That is a bummer. 😕 What features are you missing?
does it support HLG HDR format? and also should I upgrade from Chromecast 4K to Streamer 4K?

Love the favorite button. I would love to see these updates come to all Google devices and tvs. But who knows.
Great video! I'd love to see how the Library works and if it compiles a DVR for each streaming service.

Hey. I was in a beta ver since I got the steamer before it went on sale. My guess is that the update is still rolling out. What OS build are you on
Build # UTT3.240625.001.K5
now i just need someone to tell me how to get it off my Sony TV.
The Freeplay app.
Without hands-free mics smart home features is useless
Not sure I'm following you? Controlling smart home from the remote is awesome. And you can also use your voice.
