As a former bra fitter, I recommend you try a smaller band and 1-3 cup sizes larger. If you want to find your true size, put on your best fitting bra (black savage x "scoopy" bra) with the least padding and measure under your bust right at your rib cage (band size, if odd round up) and directly across your bust around nipple height. But make sure to keep the measuring tape level while taking your measurements. Once you get your measurements, subtract your band size from your bust measurement the number of inches different will be your cup size. So, for each inch difference is 1 cup size. A 1, B 2, C 3, D 4, DD 5, DDD 6, F 7, G 8...and so on.
Also, for your breast type/shape being more wide set, I'd recommend you stick with balconette and plunge shapes. Full coverage, push up and heavily padded bras may be too structured for how your breasts are placed on your chest which causes puckering and gaping.
Some more fit tips: All of the support should be provided by the band. If you are tightening the straps to feel more secure it's likely the wrong size/style.
Also, the underwire should fit flush against your chest wall. If any parts of the underwire are away from your body there is a band size issue. You should also be able to lift your arm straight up with no breast tissue coming out from under the underwire.

I was going to say she looks way bigger (in cup size) than the sizes she is saying. I have smaller boobs than her by a mile and I am a 34D. I also have wideset breasts so I feel her pain on that. We tend to wear bands that are too loose, I thought mine felt too tight at first but I evntually realized it acctually fit right.
I have a question, VS was the first place I found my right sized bra and I am a 34D in all the other brands I have tried as well. Are they still vanity sized?

Great advice. I'm a 36E(DDD for the US) and I would say me and Fei are really similar waist up. It's not just the size either you really need to try on lots of styles to find out the one you suit. Like, I won't buy a bra with only two hooks, I know the band won't be wide enough.
For the last bra, the reason it was lifting in the back was because you had the shoulder straps too tight. If you feel like you need to tighten the shoulder straps (unless they are literally falling off) you actually need a smaller band size and your cup size is probably way larger than a D. I myself found a great bra place locally, small shop. In high school thought I was a 34/36 D I'm actually a 30 DDD! AND! Depending on the brand/where it comes from in the world you could be a completely different size. I have multiple different sized bras because they are different brands. My baithing suit is a 30 i. So long story short, IM GONNA SAY IT! Victoria Secret is a joke, they don't size right lol. They want to put everyone in a C cup, which obviously not everyone is. Go to a professional shot a get your True size girly ❤ once you get your true size it opens up so many possibilities 🎉

I had that same problem with most of my bras lifting in the back. I sized up in cup size and a smaller band and that fixed it!
Yes all these bra’s she tried on didn’t fit! People tend to get miss sized because most brands only carry standard sizing and try to fit people into them instead of the bra fitting the person. In her case I think she’s a smaller band size and definitely need a few cup sizes up!!
Hi fei! I am a 36DDD and I think you might be a 38G! It shouldnt lift in the back as much and fully cover your chesty besties! Def get measures somewhere not VS, maybe like soma or something
fei you seeeriously need to look into bigger cup sizes! You'll be somuch more comfortable!
+ some bra types just don't fit our droopy boopies as well. t-shirt style bras are not made for our tatas. You need to look into balconiere style bras, those fit us sooo much nicer (plus they're SUPER cute!!)
Cups on every single one are too small babe pleaaase even the ones you said fit 🥲 I used to wear a 32B bc I'm literally flat and just assumed there's no way I'm any bigger than a B, but I got sized properly and turned out to be a 30D. Use "a bra that fits" size calculator!! And make it a video:D
This is probably a sign for me to go through all of my old crusty bras that managed to survive my purges because they were “comfy”🤧
This is not meant to be rude or anything, but I actually don't think any of the bras fit you right, even the ones you kept. Most of them looked like you definetly needed to go up at least 2 cup sizes (and maybe downsize the band so it doesn't ride up in the back)
I promise, once you get a bra that fits you perfectly you will be so much more comfortable (coming from somone who also has a rather large chest)
Tip for my big chested girlies, if you want a smaller band/ bigger cup size check ASOS. Finally found bras that fit without breaking the bank. (I'm a 38i... yes i)

I’d love to see you try and get your bra fitted professionally! As a bigger chested girl, bras always bring me such anxiety and I’d often keep a bra for way too long because I couldn’t bring myself to actually find one that fits.
Tip for all sizes. If you love bra and want to buy it in more than one colour, you Have To Try Every Colour On.
Some times they are made in different factories and they won't be the exact same size as each other.
Also. Get Professionally Measured, and ask for your Sister Size. You're more than one size, some times your sister size will fit better 😘💕
Edit: Don't put your bras in the dryer, it kills the elastic
I stopped wearing bras since I got into college as a Dance major in 2013. That's when I experience the sports bra and how comfortable it is, and the straps not always falling off when dancing/moving around. I've been wearing sports bra ever since. Threw away majority of my bras away. Only kept like 2 or 3 that still fits pretty well.
Same. But people always tell me that my boobs are going to sag because I never wear "real" bras.

The best bra's I've ever gotten were from Lane Bryant or any other plus size stores, those stores so far for me have been the only place that actually understand a good sturdy (and cute) bra for heavy chested people.

For the last one it’s riding up in the back and lifting off your skin cause the band size is to large and the straps were too tight, also the cup looks very small for you, most of the cups look small so consider trying a larger cup, my mom taught me to put on the bra, bend over and pull your side fat in, if it doesn’t fit in the cup then you need a larger cup, there shouldn’t be any spillage.

You need to get fitted at your local bra boutique.
Finding the right bra size is SUCH a trial, and then to make it even worse different brands and different styles will fit differently. It's to a point where I found a bra that I love, and will only ever repurchase that bra (and hope and pray they never change the style or discontinue it!). I'm not really sure if any of the bras in this video were really a perfect fit for you, and I mean that with only helpfulness in mind! A lot of the bras you kept seemed like you could do with a smaller band and bigger cup, which would be way more supportive and help stop the issue of the back riding up from having the straps too tight. I think a bra fitting would be super beneficial, and I know we'd love to come along for the journey!
