I'm 5'2" & 120 pounds and always get a M-L (sizes 10-12)! So much easier getting things taken in than feeling uncomfortable. The mental barrier can be tricky but once you're past it, you'll have the best wardrobe of your life!
I’m 5,0 & 120 lbs. I wear a small. You are small girl. If you feel more comfy in m and l that’s great I love some bigger clothes. But please don’t think you’re too big, you are not.
I agree. I have always consistently a size small. I have the same measurements as you and never think I am a big girl. Dont beat yourself up!
@@brendac.454 Thanks! I don't think I am big at all, however do have bigger thighs and bust (E/F) which both warrant a medium and large sometimes! In shirts and tops I get a size small if they have stretch however often find M/L fit better, especially on my lower half. I just get things tailored as needed. I buy less items but higher quality (no fast fashion) so would much rather have a little excess fabric over not enough. I am also in Auastralia, so I think our clothing may fit a little differently... in the US I get a range of sizes from a 0 to a 2 :)

I'm 5"2 120 And wear an xs to a small and only a medium in tops for my boobs sometimes. But I don't think you need a m L unless you're curvy. However. Wear whatever makes you comfy ❤
this gives me life!!! EVERYTHING fits you so well!! i would argue that, while the clothes are a size or so bigger than what you would normally wear, it actually flatters you soo much more
The hiperfixation that we sometimes have with clothing sizes is really detrimental for our mental health. From the first time I stopped caring about sizes and started buying clothes only guiding myself by the measurements of my actual body no matter what size it was, my life literally changed. I don't care about sizes anymore and now I can finally enjoy buying clothes for myself and be comfortable. Proud of you for embracing your body regardless of the clothing size ♥

I own jeans in several sizes. The right size, A size up and a size below to accommodate my changing body. Bloating happens, weight fluctuations happen and It has been such a nice thing to have something that fits for the most part no matter what. Far less triggering for me than having nothing that fits in my closet and feeling like I’ve failed, when in reality I’m just bloated because I ate too much dairy and am on my period 😂 or something haha. Or I really did just gain a bit of weight and that’s also okay.
That's so brilliant (and necessary)!! It's bonkers to think that the average person won't fluctuate, including for things like increased muscle mass, periods of illness, childbirth, etc. and, yes, bloating or constipation.
I too have done this since my early 20s and I’m entering my 40s soon. Having a few different sizes in my jeans too!

Oh man, as a fellow short girlie with ample chesty besties, I’ve learned a lot about clot he s and sizing over the years. Basically the sizing system used is meant for the “average” body, to make industrial clothing manufacturing easier. I’ve often been in between sizes, and experienced the “same size” being different at different stores. Basically it’s kind of all BS in the end, and I’ve found that the best way to buy the right size of clothes online is to take your measurements and compare them with the sizing chart provided by each brand/company. If you find yourself changing sizes often then just measure yourself each time you buy so that they fit you in your current body :)
Plus babydoll dresses and leggings are a great pairing for colder weather, stretchy fabric behind the bestows is also chefs kiss
The fashion industry doesn't cater to large breast women. They only tailor bras or shirts for larger breast IF you are like super plus size. But, let's say you are either average sized or small... nope, good luck finding things that flatter your entire upper figure 😅

Princess Polly has Australian sizing on some of their tags so the jeans that said size 12 but were small on you were actually a US size 8 (aus sizing = us sizing - 4). Cute pieces you got!! Everything does look better when fitting you properly :)
Everything looked so cute on you and you could really see in the pieces you loved that you just shined in them! As someone who was worked in a clothing store for 6 years i have collected literally all the sizes from xs to a xl even when im normally a M-L. Material can impact the size, colour can impact the size (for sure with denim), the store you buy in can impact the size. There is no shame in sizing up or sizing down. Wear what makes you feel as amazing as you are girlies no matter the size!

Her videos are always so fun! The size charts from company are actually pretty accurate. Each company has their own size chart either in inches or cm. You would need a tape measure to measure bust, waist, hips, inseam for pants. Inseam are always marked in description. A lot of her videos are just not understanding how to shop and ask questions to ensure that clothes that properly fits.

That black peplum with the matching color undies looked good as a set imo. Idk if it's giving fancy swimsuit or modest lingerie but it worked. Too bad the cup area wasn't secure enough and it was kinda doing too much as a regular top.
That button up shirt dress would be amazing with a black corset framing the waist. The girlies kind of spilling over the top would be scrumptious. For my preference, I'd style it like a vampire lol. Obviously, the way Fei styled it is cute and more practical. High boots, yesss!
Also, I too find that sizes are always inconsistent. I can only really rely on measurements to make sure if something will fit how I want.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to sizing of anything, theres videos that explain where the standard of sizing came from and its a mess. Still a mess. Im a XXL in most places but I own 3xl 1xl xl medium 14 and 18. Buy things that you like and you feel good in period. Love the vids feii! Much love 💕
My weight fluctuates at a drop of a hat!!! As I've matured I've learned to just have clothes for each weight era I have. Need some for when I can afford the mental space and physical space to be fit and work out. Then I have my current "oversized" clothes for when I get fluffier. Yes, it may be annoying at times to have a difficult time being consistent, but I'm accepting that that is also a part of who I am, so I can adapt my wardrobe to fit what I need in the era I am! It's been much more liberating!

I’ve been shopping for fall clothes and I kept finding myself researching diets or waist trainers in the process. It’s because the garment measurements never matched mine. After several days, I realized that this wouldn’t have been an issue at all if I was shopping a brand that made clothes with measurements that consistently fit mine. It wasn’t actually my body that I found an issue because I had no dysmorphia when wearing clothes that fit me with a little looseness at the waist. It was only when the hips fit but waist was too small on the listing or I was bloated and the skirt I ordered fit tight. Anyway, yeah, I need to focus on healing eating for my IBS and not viewing measurements on a listing as how my body “is supposed” to be. I took all the 2 sizes too small jeans and skirts I was saving for “when I lose weight” and put them in a bag to sell on Poshmark so I can use that money to buy clothes that fit. I love the idea of this video. And you look amazing! 💜

I totally agree with you in the jeans perspective because I am 15 and I struggle to buy jeans that fit me. I started being a 0 then a 2 finally a four. But then I gained weight and went to a 6 but now I can't get jeans that are my size . I tried to tell myself I'm still skinny or I shouldn't buy large jeans because I might lose weight 😭😭😭
I'm plus size- more of an hourglass with a tummy though. I recommend looking for brands that sell vintage-style clothes, as I find they flatter bigger ladies than a lot of modern styles. A line high high-waisted skirts and high-waisted wide-leg trousers hide away big tums, bums, and thighs and emphasise the waist. Lots of tops have big sleeves that help balance you out if you're top-heavy. You don't have to go all out vintage though, I mainly wear them in modern ways to suit how I want to look and feel.

Girl, I'm a very blessed chesty bestie. The best advise anyone can give you is to start wearing a proper supportive bra when trying on clothes. Give the girls the support they deserve.
I've been dying to find some cargos but they've all been too short. So I got some from 'ol reliable American Eagle cause they're the only ones that have length options (that I know of) and got their longest...and they're still too short lol granted I think their lengths have changed, the x-longs I have from like early highschool are almost too long but the new ones I got are borderline too short. It's rough finding pants for long legs 🙃
I love these clothes that fit me videos. It can be hard accepting a new size. But really our clothes should fit us we shouldn’t try to fit to our clothes. Especially when there are so many size fluctuations even within the same stores/brands.

girl its time to accept your body for the way it is instead of always trying to look smaller and skinny. its okay to love a normal sized body. the average woman in the US is a size 14 so look at u! smaller than average! teach your girlies to love themselves the way they are instead of hide it. hiding your body because you are ashamed of it will lead you to a dark place.

Feii is pretty much the opposite of me but i'm still watching bcs it makes me realized, no matter how we're build, we always find something we feel bad abt. just last week i was getting emotinal (yes i was also on my period) over a cargo pants. i bought it online, waited and when it came, it was short on me. well, most pants are short on me but i expected the pants to be long enough from the reviews pictures and yet- sigh. we can't win
If it makes you feel better, a size US 10 is only a UK 12, and I am a size UK 18 (i live in the uk, lol). I'm glad I came across your videos. Any chance you'd be able to show or discuss how these or future clothing look when sitting down? I'm wondering if they ride up in the butt/crotch area and/or cause sides to hang over? I'm wondering if the shirts constantly need to be pulled down because they naturally ride up? I'm also curious if/how much various tops from all the videos have the tendency to ride up when you lift your arms up. I find a lot of these things are problematic for me. 😔

My weight has fluctuated like crazy and being 5'3 I feel like I'm always trying to fight with my height and weight. I'm also not the most conventionally "feminine" (not trying to upset anyone and if I say something offensive, I apologize in advance.) This is *my* experience. So I have no clue how to dress to flatter my body shape.
I was used to shopping in the "men's section" of stores for the most part, only have 1 brother, Mom passed away, and I haven't had many girl friends. Basically, I don't know how to "girl" and overcome feeling self-conscious. (Don't worry, I'm trying to work through this in therapy as well). I want to wear things that fit my body well, but I'm also pretty paranoid about drawing attention to it for various reasons.
😅Having to get pants and other things tailored is a pain. When I had more $, I liked shopping at Buckle bc they had free alterations with the purchase. 🤦🏼♀️ I honestly hate trying on clothes now, bc I'm not at all familiar with my current size/ body. Heck, I can't even figure out what shape I am. Maybe I'm an "apple", but who knows🤷🏼♀️

The size doesnt matter! I usually wear europian M, but I fit Italian XS and Turkish XL. So the only thing you should care about is how cloths fit on your body! ❤
i don't think you should keep squeezing into clothes that don't fit, especially denim, when you gain weight. however i also wouldn't get rid of them completely either. body size can change both ways pretty quickly, so you might want them again in the future.

The asymmetric jeans are probably Australian size 12 which is why it feels tighter than a US 10 🤔
feiii i can tell you right now women's sizes are so inconsistent one brands 12 is another brands 14. i think it might be helpful and more healthy to know your measurements so you can find the right fit every time (unless the brands lie) instead of solely relying on the size.
Fun fact: why do clothes feel different if they’re the same size from the same brand? Style of clothing and brands using different supplies. Each supplier has their own sizing chart so if a brand sources from a different suppliers the sizing chart for said brand will be very inconsistent.
