"Brimstone and Diamonds" - Lava Reef Zone Remix - Sonic 3 and Knuckles

I've been working on this remix for a long time and can definitively say that I'm really proud of how it turned out. My main idea was that I wanted to mimic Tee Lopes' version of the song while incorporating more original elements and live-sounding instruments, like live guitar, which I recorded. I also added a segment from S&K's 1994 album version of Lava Reef to spice things up. Ultimately, I wanted to slightly modernize the theme while keeping elements of the Genesis version.

This popped up randomly and I decided to give it a listen. No regrets. This is really good! I wish I could play this game again, but I had Sonic Classic Collection and lost the cartridge. I had all the Super Emeralds for every character, too.

there are plenty of legitimate and illegitimate ways to play 3&K today
personally, I'd either recommend Sonic Origins if your a console player or Sonic 3 A.I.R. if your a PC player

What most people don't realise is that Lava Reef Zone Act 2 music should come first! It's so subtle and minimal and then BAM! You explode into act 1 and it's all high energy. Literally learning to DJ to do this lol

Was lil thrown off by beginning, but in a kinda good way?
