- Mark McCormick the brother of Moses McCormick aka Laoshu has launched his own Independent investigation into the murder of his brother. Mark publicly expressed his concern for his brother's safety and warned family, fans and friends in the spring of 2020 that Moses was in danger. Mark is asking for your support to obtain justice for Moses McCormick.

Mark breaks his silence and express that it is very important for the world to know the truth about the death of his brother Moses, and the events that took place leading up to the date of his mysterious death. The medical examiner confirmed Mark's suspicion of foul play and we are demanding justice.
All contributions to the fund will aid in the expenses of expert medical reports, additional autopsies, forensic lab work, the gathering of evidence, affidavits from witnesses, and all other expenses associated with the investigation. We are praying that through our efforts collectively, we can obtain the answers needed to lead to the arrest and conviction of all the perpetrators involved.

It’s so depressing to think that all these people he’s made friends with will wait for years in hope that he returns to visit, the kind man who spoke their native tongue. All these elderly people who loved him and enjoyed when he’d visit their stores, and they will forever wonder where he’s gone.

I started watching Laoshu 3 years ago when he had barely 100k subscribers. He wasn't that famous back then. You were his assistant, his brother, his best friend, his second soul. You went with him thousands of times. You're his blood and his soul. I was shocked by his death and started watching his last videos. Who the fuck is that girl ? Why the hell did she separate you ? And how ?
A true lover will never separate a man from his family. Family is everything. Friends are our second family. She broke that two things. I don't want to say anything before the investigation takes place, but there is something wrong here. Whether or not she was involved in a murder, one thing is certain : she took his soul and I'm so sad right now that a great man was the victim of a vicious girl taking advantage of his gentle feelings.
RIP Laoshu, you made me laugh, you inspired me, I hope you will find peace in heaven.

Then, today, I watched the video you are referring to and wasn't able to concentrate, or finish watching the video. In my mind, I kept thinking no way is he passed away. Sad to see it's not only true, but that there is reason to question how and why this happened.

First let me express my deepest sympathy to you and your family on this tragic loss. I'm a 65-year-old great-grandmother who has spent a lot of the pandemic watching youtube. I saw many, many of your brother's videos. In a time of so much hatred and bigotry, your brother put forth an example of not only inclusion, but great respect for all cultures, languages and people. It was beautiful to see. In no way shape or form did I know him or more than just a tiny bit about his life, yet, when I heard the news of his passing and the reason given it did not pass the smell test to me. Something didn't sound right about the vibrant young man I saw before me on UA-cam suddenly having a heart attack. There have been many examples of official coroner's reports being challenged by families who bring in their own independent medical examiner with the end result being entirely different from the first findings. Good luck and may God be with you on your search for the truth.

As a long time youtuber in the Spanish language space since 2009, and a multilingual black man, I have literally seen Moses grow his passion and channel and had so much respect for his spirit, and even been on some threads with him. Im born in 80 and I cannot tell you how much it has rocked my world hearing his passing, because he was young as me. I think all of us who literally do languages every day think of him every single time we sit and open our books. Its like losing a best friend I hadn't met who shares the exact same love of people, life and the communication of us all.

As soon as they said he died of a heart attack I knew it was BS. Actually someone in a comment section told me and I knew right away. The mans too talented and was breaking boundaries and Moses was sparking ideas to lesser privileged people and giving them access to tools to empower themselves as long as they had access to the internet. This is very powerful. If we could all at least attempt to communicate it would end alot of racism. I guarantee 75% of the people Moses spoke to were racist or had racist tendencies but their visit with him helped change that perception. Respect for speaking out.
I just found out he died today, and I automatically knew that he was killed. People who are intune with themselves and highly conscious tend to be highly intuitive. So my instincts knew he was killed because we, “all the people on earth” is ran by goofies. These goofies run all the major media, food, schools, and banking systems and they try to keep the general population at a lower state of consciousness and frequency so they can stay in control. So ppl that have a positive influence, such as laoshu, are enemies to these goofies because he impact the world and human consciousness in a positive way. It’s easy for these goofies to control the masses if we stay disconnected, and language is a bridge to connect with one another. So they had to stop him before he could finish out his purpose on earth, which is connecting with ppl from all over while simultaneously broadcasting it to show ppl that’s they can do it also.
Haven’t watched him in about a year and decided I need my laoshu fix and when I saw he hadn’t uploaded in 7 months I was sad and found out what happened and my stomach churned and couldn’t believe it. I pretty much grew up on his videos and my favorites were the long unedited ones and the ones that featured you. Im so sorry and I hope justice is served. His legacy isn’t over.

I’m upset man, as a 17 year old laoshu was a person that I could never learn and really catch up on of how amazing he was at learning so many languages. There is a very deep and dark reason someone would take his life away so he has no more room to talk. After three months into this year I’m laying in my bed crying rn because I had no idea he had passed away, this all ties into them intentionally trying to cover up his death. #justiceforlaoshu I pray you are up there right now having a blast teaching everyone about your amazing skills at knowing different languages…see you next time my friend and we will do our all to figure out the cause of you being wrongfully murdered and lied too.

I just found out about your brother's talent as well as his death, yesterday. I refuse to believe he passed from a heart attack. He looked young, very healthy, didn't ever seem like he was stressed about anything (mellow), and he doesnt look like someone that would have high cholesterol levels. I'm beyond sad for your loss, and feel like he was a brother to this entire planet.

During my 37 years on this Earth I've only been genuinely saddened by two deaths among people I've never actually met. Your brother is one of those two along with Kobe. I can just tell by his interactions with people in the hundreds of videos I've watched of him that he didn't have a single bad bone in his body. Moses had strokes in the years past due to stress and even talked about it in a couple videos back then. And from what I've looked up, he was in a lot of drama involving his fiance, brother and some of his friends a few months before he died. I also found "heart attack" to be a very strange cause. If anything it would have been a cardiac arrest. Well now we know it's none of them. And please remember Mark, it's not about revenge, it's about justice and truth. Keep God on your side!
Moses posted videos in the past about him having heart problems and it was ONE of the reasons he had to leave his ex wife because the stress was unreal for him and he collapsed one day on the sidewalk. Idr what video it is but I did watch it. Just something to think about.

“Heart attack” is just a colloquialism. Typically, when people say heart attack, they usually really mean “Myocardial Infarction”. “Cardiac Arrest” is pretty much just the heart stopping. EVERYBODY dies of cardiac arrest in the end.
@@thejurkshot Yes that adds to why it's about justice and truth and not revenge. We never know the truth until it comes to the light. What is said happened with Moses could be true, or not. Based on what Mark says he saw I strongly believe that there's truth to uncover. Terrible situation overall.
I suspect if anything it would be complications from the stroke he had 5 years ago. A lot of persons die years after receiving a stroke.

Mark the night i found out laoshu passed i drank whiskey and cried like a baby all night watching my favorite videos of his. I have to say though ever since that chick popped up man it wasn't the same anymore the vibe was off in his videos i was almost upset at the fact that she was in his videos so much i even unsubscribed at one point , something was wrong about her and i just couldnt figure it out. I’m not even American but I am totally invested in this saga. Coming from a Canto-mandarin mother tongue background, I was really happy that laoshu50500 put in so much effort into learning these languages. Please find the man the justice he deserves. 🙏
This hurts so much to hear, can't believe I only just found out. I wish your family the best in the process of healing from this tragity. My brother passed away March 17 2021 also. I feel for you Mark, losing a brother/son/father is a new kind of pain that no one should have to deal with. I started learning Chinese because of Mose's videos and hoped one day I'd meet him.

When I heard of his passing I was so shocked. I even told my dad that it was so hard to believe. He seemed healthy. He looked healthy! Even though all of us don't personally know him, he was like family. I'll definitely help with what I can.

The stroke was odd, and the docs couldn't explain what happened. He had them for a few days. He just decided to get more healthy by himself (even though I think he was looking healthy enough before), but maybe there was a cardio-vascular disease underlying it all?

I cried when i heard he died. He looked alive and healthy and he was vegetarian. I think something bad happened to him other than a heart attack.
I was thinking the same thing. Considering the line of work they were in I wouldn’t be surprised if foul play was involved with someone they exposed or someone that wanted revenge.
I cried several nights. Moses was such an inspiration to me. It just feels so off. And the timing just felt wrong, like it wasn't his time. It don't always feel like that when somebody passes, even if they're young.
Yeah he did say that his body wasn’t like someone had a heart attack.. I’ve also witness someone pass of heart issues etc and the only thing that suffers is the heart and we can’t see that.. praying the truth comes out 🙏🏼

Within 3 months was "engaged " and running the show. Where was she when Moses was going through his bankruptcy? Where was she when he was living in a hotel and without a car? 9 months after his engagement and he is dead. She is no greiving fiancée either.
What was the nationality of the girlfriend?
Before Moses passed away he started learning Khmer/Cambodian language and it really did touch my heart, and when I learned that he passed it broke it. He inspired the spirit of friendship and love. He was a special man. And we will miss him. R.I.P Laoshu.

I've (re)discovered laoshu's channel a couple of days ago when I knew he died. I used to see his videos 3 or 4 years ago and he motivated me, as a black latin american, to connect with other people with their languages, and I am deeply sorry for this loss. I didn't bought that moses died of hearth attack, but I didn't know about all the drama too. I hope you and the investigations are doing well. I can’t believe this is true. He inspired and amazed me for so many years. It meant so much to me to see how many times people were blown away by his brilliance and ability to connect with others through language and beautiful culture. He was a special soul who made so many people smile and want to learn more and more. He will never be forgotten and justice will be his .
I can’t believe it! Moses inspired me as he did so many others. Through him I have been able to connect with older family members that don’t speak English. The joy I have received in being connected through language is because of your brother.
