Really slick looking menu. Same lever of intuitiveness as No Mercy. Thank you for your transparency with this game in its development, warts an all. It speaks volumes and keeps my excitement at a level where i could pull off a special move taunt at any time!

I played WCW VS The World and WCW NWO Revenge the last weeks and it's really impressive how the games still hold up today.
The Gameplay ist just pretty good.
Same studio went on to make Def Jam: Vendetta and Def Jam: Fight for NY. Fight for NY has some of the smoothest wrestling gameplay. Highly recommend trying Fight for NY if you haven't.
I am going to have so much fun creating in this game. The clock is ticking and soon we are all going to have a load of fun!
Definitely double dipping and picking this up on PC and PS5.
The best thing about all these uploads are the disclaimers about the progress of the game and what’s still being worked on…that way no one will jump to conclusions and throw negative stuff about the game in the comments section 👏🏻

I have that same feeling from when I was a kid and they’d announce a new AKI wrestling game. It’s that feeling of waiting for Christmas, your birthday and getting close to holidays so you can be away from school! Every update gets me so excited!
I feel the exact same way. 2k games never got me feeling this way
Looking absolutely fantastic. Nostalgic vibes from No Mercy flooded back.
One thing I do hope we have is more choice in turnbuckle grappling & diving from the turnbuckle in the N64 classics they were lacking, you had 2 weak grapples, 2 strong grapples & a signature move. Even if just adding a 3rd grapple for weak & strong (up or down for 2nd grapple & then left or right for 3rd) would add a lot more when whipping the opponents into the corner especially with the Lucha Libre members that are on the base game's roster 🙂
As for diving there was 1 standing dive, 1 grounded opponent dive a signature for each if the option to add an additional dive could be added that'd be great again for the lightweight & Lucha Libre wrestlers & high flying offence has become more popular with the majority of in ring competitors.
But I'm aware that fast flowing gameplay is the priority (one of the many things that made the N64 classics so great) & the extra technical development these suggestions might not be worth the hassle.
On my Wishlist 🙂 Really excited about the free agent DLC wrestlers, some amazing people there & personal favourites like Matt Cardona, the Motor City Machineguns & British Bulldog, excited to see who else might be added.
Yeah, that was more of a memory limitation with the N64 era technology. They should be free of any technological restraints at this point.

One minor request i know a lot of people would like to see is a brand new move that wasn't in an AKI game, to showcase your image of that move AKI style. Like a Rainmaker or a shining wizard
We actually have Matt Cardonas finisher done but we want to wait till the game is looking a bit more polished and his character do it. So yeah not sure when it'll be but sooner than later we hope!

There is still a lot of work to do, but when I saw this video, I said "Wow, WWF No Mercy is not dead!". Thanks a lot for this nice video, I'm sure that with the classic No Mercy moveset and the new generations of wrestling moves, will come out the true encyclopedia of a C.A.M. (create a moveset)!

Having the Strong Grapple moves in orange and the Weak Grapple moves in yellow in the menu is a great move.

I hope there is more moves and not just 1 to 1 recreations from No mercy. Personally a top rope powerbomb ala Mike Awesome would be amazing as no game has ever done it

I love this. Can you guys please include the moves they made for Def Jam Vendetta? Not the silly finishers but there were a few new grapple types (rope grapples) and the Jeff Hardy/RVD Spike DDT from their Invasion match.

I have a question, will there be modern moves like the Overdrive, Clash, and Blackout? Or at least variants of them because of licensing.

Not "Is Cookin'"... lol, but seriously, seeing that, the moves menu looks nice. Obviously, some moves need to be cleaned up, but other than that, it looks better than "that other game." And seeing Big Ben Nevis' icon, I can't wait for his (and other characters) 3D model to be showcased.

Would be cool if the CAW move backdrop was inside a darkly lit gym. Also cooler if different promotions had their own gyms.
Could simply swap out some assets to make each one look unique. One promotion could have punch bags in the corner. Another have weight lifting equipment. Or they could have folded up posters and banners for said promotion, etc.
I did think about the possibility of having a dynamic background but three I thought about the promotions with different rings. There’s the pro ring which is big, then the smaller Indy ring, then the 6sided one. So all the moves would have to account for the ring they’re in and it would throw off all the positions. Especially for corner moves in the 6sided. So yeah it’s probably gonna work better as one universal environment

This game is a dream for us fans...i just have one request.. don't make this game's pc spec requirements very high as it will be accessible for more fans.

These moves and animations look almost identical to the AKI games… are they new assets or are they ‘borrowed’ from elsewhere?
The dev explained it elsewhere but the N64 is hard to "rip" moves from because of how it did animations. From what I understand these are original but based on the AKI games
They're basically recreated frame by frame to look identical
new assets, being build from scratch but trying our hardest to get them as close to AKI as possible :)
@@UltraProWrestling What kinds of matches and match types will you have? Will you have majority of stuff like No Mercy? I found the AEW game lacking for match options, very limited and boring.
@@renslo689 might take us a while to build out all the different match types but yeah we plan to eventually have everything NM had and more!
