Everytime I watch this interview I cry harder and longer. Thank you, Mr. Riggs, for being such a wonderful friend and voice coach to Michael for so many years. I know how much you must miss Michael but I am happy that you have such fond memories from your times with him. He truly was an angel sent to us by God.
In all these videos of Michael, one thing stands out to me. He touched (physically) and kissed babies and children others were afraid to even touch. (Ryan White had AIDS etc) he never ONCE refused to rub a childs cheek or kiss their cheek or hold their hand because of a disease or condition! He would wear gowns as required etc. But he still gave very physical contact to these children! Something about that to me is eye watering beautiful about his soul!! He truly practiced what he preached (or sang) "heal" and "love" Rest in peaceful sleep king 🌻❤
Seth is absolutely right. Michael did wear his heart on his sleeve. It made him the sweet and gracious man that he was, but it would ultimately be his own undoing, which is a very unfortunate thing. His heart was in the right place and he did a lot of good. As for him saving himself? He was self-sacrificial. True he could have done better for his own health. That part was extremely complex and few people know the enormity of both his physical/mental health issues. But a terrific person!

I am crying so hard because Michael was used and used and used and he kept giving. In 2006 he said he will fight for children for the rest of his life. The media totally ignored this. I also blame his friends and family for not letting the world know who MJ was. Now after his death his brother Jermaine is all over the tube. Too little, too late.

I think so too. They should have been a bit aggressive in defending him. They were too modest, too calm and too polite. The media wasn't. They attacked him all the time.

During the Bashir interview he wanted kids that Michael knew to be on the programme, Michael mentioned dace save, but Bashir said no and he got the arvizo family, who Michael hadn't seen for afew years, and there lyes the problem, set up by Bashir who of course didn't want to show Michael Jackson as the kindest person there was, and the rest is history. You only have to see how it was all planned to bring Michael down, because he was too powerful, people listened to him, he wanted us all to live in a world of love and peace, and it could have been, we would have listened and followed him, but there is no money in peace so they murdered him. For the past 30 years I've known and believed that Michael Jackson was a good person and this helps to validate that belief. Everyone that has truly known MJ has had nothing but good things to say about him. He was a sweet musical giant and he is missed very much by me and all his fans and family.
A lot of stars who have done half of these kind things would want it to be on front page news. Michael's kindness was genuine. It came from the heart, and it was done in a humble way behind closed doors. That's the mark of a special person, and it makes my blood boil when people talk nonsense about him.

I do think that he was genial and common sense, discretion, truth - in its deepest meaning - were among his highest qualities. I've always believed that a person with Michael's selfless, altruistic nature combined with his prodigious musical talent and skill and widespread success was too much for the world to understand. In addition to his personal issues and touches of innocence he was always going to be misinterpreted by the majority. I never had the privilege of meeting the person, but all I can say is I think we will be lucky to witness anyone quite so extraordinary again in a long while.
those were beautiful stories...i'm gonna remember 'em forever. i already know a lot of incredible mj stories, so i'll just add this one to my brain's collection. all the stories give me the SAME warm feeling, i can't explain...that love and gentleness i get when i feel something pure....it's always the same, michael's always sending out that feeling, to everyone. the only one's who don't understand it are those blinded by the media, and that's very unfortunate.

This video made me cry. What teared me up so much is him talking about Ryan White and when he said MJ told Dave he didnt need to worry. He would take care of him. The thing i see in a lot of MJ videos is he touched, kissed, rubbed cheeks and held hands with children that other people were afraid to touch. Ryan white was not allowed in school because it was very unknown at the time what AIDS was and how it was spread etc. MJ held him. Hugged him. Etc. His sould was just beautiful and these acts show he practiced what he preached (or sang) which was love. 🌻
I truely believe that Michael never once molested a child. I think people thought it was weird that he spent so much time with little boys but its because he got famous so young that he never had a childhood. Those little boys were just his friends. He was living his childhood as an adult.
Massive respect for Seth Riggs to talk about his experience with Michael. I was not aware of how vulnerable and unprotected Michael was , emotionally. I get the impression he tried to do too much for children who were hurt and in need, and didn't keep enough of that care for himself. Between that and people who took advantage of his generous nature I could see how it would wear anyone down. I really know very little of Michael outside what I've read in the news, sadly. The stories of Michael as a human being and not just a performer are far and few between.

It's so nice to here him talk about Michael in a good way. Michael took such a beating in life.
In all these videos of Michael, one thing stands out to me. He touched (physically) and kissed babies and children others were afraid to even touch. (Ryan White had AIDS etc) he never ONCE refused to rub a childs cheek or kiss their cheek or hold their hand because of a disease or condition! He would wear gowns as required etc. But he still gave very physical contact to these children! Something about that to me is eye watering beautiful about his soul!! He truly practiced what he preached (or sang) "heal" and "love" Rest in peaceful sleep king 🌻❤
Seth is absolutely right. Michael did wear his heart on his sleeve. It made him the sweet and gracious man that he was, but it would ultimately be his own undoing, which is a very unfortunate thing. His heart was in the right place and he did a lot of good. As for him saving himself? He was self-sacrificial. True he could have done better for his own health. That part was extremely complex and few people know the enormity of both his physical/mental health issues. But a terrific person!

I am crying so hard because Michael was used and used and used and he kept giving. In 2006 he said he will fight for children for the rest of his life. The media totally ignored this. I also blame his friends and family for not letting the world know who MJ was. Now after his death his brother Jermaine is all over the tube. Too little, too late.

For the past 30 years I've known and believed that Michael Jackson was a good person and this helps to validate that belief. Everyone that has truly known MJ has had nothing but good things to say about him. He was a sweet musical giant and he is missed very much by me and all his fans and family.

A lot of stars who have done half of these kind things would want it to be on front page news. Michael's kindness was genuine. I've always believed that a person with Michael's selfless, altruistic nature combined with his prodigious musical talent and skill and widespread success was too much for the world to understand. In addition to his personal issues and touches of innocence he was always going to be misinterpreted by the majority.
I never had the privilege of meeting the person, but all I can say is I think we will be lucky to witness anyone quite so extraordinary again in a long while.
those were beautiful stories...i'm gonna remember 'em forever. i already know a lot of incredible mj stories, so i'll just add this one to my brain's collection. all the stories give me the SAME warm feeling, i can't explain...that love and gentleness i get when i feel something pure....it's always the same, michael's always sending out that feeling, to everyone. the only one's who don't understand it are those blinded by the media, and that's very unfortunate.

This video made me cry. What teared me up so much is him talking about Ryan White and when he said MJ told Dave he didnt need to worry. He would take care of him. The thing i see in a lot of MJ videos is he touched, kissed, rubbed cheeks and held hands with children that other people were afraid to touch. Ryan white was not allowed in school because it was very unknown at the time what AIDS was and how it was spread etc. MJ held him. Hugged him. Etc. His sould was just beautiful and these acts show he practiced what he preached (or sang) which was love. 🌻

I truely believe that Michael never once molested a child. I think people thought it was weird that he spent so much time with little boys but its because he got famous so young that he never had a childhood. Those little boys were just his friends. He was living his childhood as an adult.
Massive respect for Seth Riggs to talk about his experience with Michael. I was not aware of how vulnerable and unprotected Michael was , emotionally. I get the impression he tried to do too much for children who were hurt and in need, and didn't keep enough of that care for himself. Between that and people who took advantage of his generous nature I could see how it would wear anyone down. I really know very little of Michael outside what I've read in the news, sadly. The stories of Michael as a human being and not just a performer are far and few between.
