Nice review, For me I was getting back to rise after a 2-3 years gap, and my last bike Kawasaki Z800 and I was single. Now I am married so my options were Trident and F900R. And End up buying F900R and I loved every bit of the bike. The safety features it has also give your much more confidence when coming back after the gap and it is very forgiving. Yes, it is a gentleman bike but in Dynamic Pro Mode, this can be a hooligan as well. It is a very torque machine which is I feel is best in the city and it provides you the better center of gravity and it is really stable when you are on the highways.
I also don't understand the negativity on the engine built in China. It is built under the guideline and standards of BMW and Bike fully assembled in Berlin. Nobody says iPhone is bad because it is made in China then why we are saying this for BMW.
The only issue I have is yes the quick shifter and after-market accessories in Canada, for this bike, I believe it is still new to the market hopefully will have more accessories options like tail tidy, bar-end mirrors, and exhausts in Canada.
Overall very happy with the bike :) Highly recommended and at least do the test ride of this bike and then decide.

First I was considering the F900R, but finally, I just ordered a Triumph. The 3 cylinder is so captivating, the chassis is just perfect and the bike has a very nice finish !!

Thanks for the honest and great review. I tried both litterally like yesterday, and yeah, I completely agree with you. Those are great bikes, I felt very well seated on the F900R and felt like I could ride for hours, the torque is coming very early so it was great on any gear & revs, but when you wanna attack just a little bit more, well I felt a little bit of frustration when I hit the red zone sayin' "thats all?" It doesn't rev as long as a 4 or 3 cylinders so you need to play more with gears. On the other hand, the triple RS is much more sportive bike and only after 1 hours of riding I could already feel a little pain on my forearms, and performance wise there's no comparaison, the triumph is one big step ahead.
Regarding materials, yeah plastics on f900r.. not so much fan but they seemed great quality. Loved the big TFT screen on the f900r and all the features & information you can access. Electronics... the BMW wins by a big margin, feeling right away the new "connected" era of modern world. The Triumph on the other hand is very limited (from 2010's electronics I would say) but doing the job very efficiently having the "all you need" to ride the bike. The perfect bike would be a mixture between those two unfortunately I didn't find yet that model :). still looking

I am trying to decide between the trident 660 and the f900r 2022 and I can’t decide which is better…… the price is the same and I am having a hard time deciding. Which one would you pick?

coming from an R6 to a F00R, i totally agrees that the F900R is a "Gentlemen's Bike/Roadster". But i wonder why most people seems to harp on the narrow perception of "designed by BMW, made in china" engine. FYI, Most of Triumph's bikes are made in thailand. *shaking my head. Plus its more about how the brand control the quality rather than where its made. If "made in china" = low quality, there is probably lots of electronics in their house that needs to be discarded.

Exactly, completely agree with you, i also feel that there's alot of hate to bmw motorrad (🙄jealousy) even in my close group of motorcycle "friends" its a misconception of ELITISM, probably couse most of them can't have a new bike or an expensive bike, the problem aint with bmw f900r, its with the world and people and general, they're more prompt to see the negative then the positive, what matters is you have to feel good with what you got and dont pay attention to all the opinions that wanna push you down✌️.Its an amazing bike, more then enough for me, and for most people 👍

@@misumaniaku engines are blowing up😂😂😂damn thats a first for me, about electric problems i had 0,my bike sleeps under a roof and its well treated, about rust i can assure if you dont properly protected your bike it doesn't matter the brand, eventually you'll have some rust in some spots, if you live close to the sea that a guarantee if you dont treat you bike well, i live in a island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, and the more i see its Honda motorcycles with rust all over the place, that you can't avoid if you dont take care of the bike and wash it alot.

6th comment , the Striple is the best in the street and intermediate track bike , the 900R , is kinda absurd , maybe a good sport tourer? The do it all bikes it is then.

    • @emanuelmarcos

Amazing engine, that idea that if its manufactured in China its crap its an idea that all the big industrial countries have to China, because they're stealing work from those countries, its a misleading idea and mainly in small mind people or jealous ones, (get you shit together before talking) this bike has a weak point and definitely its not the engine, its the gearbox when combined with the quickshifter. Other then that the bike has been bullet proof in 11.000 in less then 12 months✌️😜. By the way, rather have a Chinese bike then an American one👌
