I'm afraid I'm going to have to break down and buy an iPhone 6 from eBay. I have a RØDE Video Mic Go with a mount adapter for my Zhiyun Smooth 4. Since the iPhone 6 was the last one to have a headphone jack, I guess that's what I'm stuck with. I have a Oneplus 6 I'm using now, and it just can't take advantage of all the features of this gimbal. Damn shame.
I have the same problem with the Huawei P20 Pro. I can only use 30fps despite the phone being able to perform at 120fps at 1080 or 60fps at 4k. The problem exists with the Zhiyun app as well as Filmic Pro. What are you going to do to resolve?
@@richienl100 Why is this a bad workaround? Are you required to use the Zhiyun app to film? Most of what's going to happen to the footage will happen in post production anyway. I understand we all want the app to give us all the options available. But it works for zoom and manual focus. Motion timelapse is especially cool.
Of course, you can use the standard phone app but gives no solution for the Zhiyun and Filmic Pro app. I would also like to use the buttons of the smooth 4. That is not possible with the standard phone app. I think that is an important function on the smooth 4?

Estoy usando la ultima actualización del firmware 1.77 y uso android en un galaxy S7; hay otras funciones deshabitadas como grabar a 60fps. agradezco que me ayuden a solucionar dichos problemas.

I have my newly acquired Zhiyun Smooth 4 and my brand new iPhone XR. There are a couple of projects I want to engage in: in a month and a half I will be headed to Australia for a month, traveling from Sidney to Adelaide, maybe catch the Great Barrier Reef before it's all gone and then in the spring I will be portaging my kayak into the Boreas ponds wilderness area which the state (NY) has just obtained and do some fishing and camping for a night or two. Then, I will be ripping out the flooring at the back end of my house where there is a substantial amount of rot and rebuilding. I am pumped and want to get it all on video. Only wish I knew what I am doing. I'm practicing though. Lot to learn. Need a decent mount on the device for a microphone, need a directional mike, need lessons or a workbook.
Zhiyun-tech please you or Filmic add a Facebook live option from within the app. Only thing I see missing because it is cool, manye people do this, and DJI seems to think it is cool. I however still use the Smooth 4 over the OSMO because the Smooth 4 is an overall better Gimbal.
Lol,its filming with iPhone or iOS platform,smooth4 feat filmic pro there not android friendly,I have Samsung s8 plus,we can't use 100% of our smartphone,60fps not available ,4k etc etc,and when a new firmware for smooth 4,sometime its the gimbal fall or unstable,next week i will make a fair review of this gimbal
I have the Samsung Galaxy S9 and I can shoot 4K at 60 fps. The S8 does not support 4K at 60 fps. It is not an app issue, it is the hardware on the S8. The S8 does not shoot 4K 60 fps, only at 30 fps. The reason I got the S9 over the S8 was only due to 60 fps support at 4K. Android works fine by the way. Please know your hardware before making such false claims.
Did you solve issues with Samsung phones?
can the smooth 4 Roll ?? Can't find info about this anywhere, and can't do it unless I used timelapse from zy play app and only -30 to 30 deg

Which camera app you used it

You can use your native camera app and shoot whatever frame rate you want to.

Thanks for your feedback. The live function is still under facebook's censored.So it is not available now.
Have both,prefer the osmo as its motors are more precised resulting in much smoother video
