All I meant was that a lot of UA-camrs talking about gimbals get really technical. I was looking for somebody who just said let’s go out see how this thing works in the field. That’s why I liked your video of. just go play and see what this thing does. Getting used to the panning and the tilting and the various combinations is really difficult to master I learned a lot from your video

It's like a trial and error for me and my zhiyun at times shifts randomly upon movements making my videos look rather unprofessional and odd! I do need some tips on this!

Thank you. depending on your setup. You can touch and hold on the phone screen, it brings up a box and will show you when locked. Or if you shoot in manual mode, you are setting your exposure and then it will not change. hope that helps.
May sound silly, but make sure your Bluetooth is on. make have to delete Bluetooth gimbal info and try again. Can also try to shut everything off and try again(reboot) make sure everything is updated. May also be an App bug.
Good info man. I have a question I would like to use my smooth 4 more in my videos, ( metal detecting ) but i need a way to carry the gimbal with the phone attached in stand by mode. So basically I carry a metal detector and a shovel and what I would like to be able to do is stick grab my gimbal with the phone already attached shoot my scene put it back in its holster and continued to detect do they make any type of holster that I could use for my gimbal? Any help would be appreciated
Thank you. Glad to see you still around. Thought you might have hit the big one. I have heard of a kick-starter one, but nothing else that I have heard of. What I do when on holidays is I use a teardrop shaped sling backpack. I can rotate it to my front, access the gimbal, film, store it back in backpack. If I were you i would serious look at basically remaking a backpack, that you can strap your shovel to, hold other metal detecting accessories, store your GOLD and a compartment for the gimbal (could even be a side pocket). trick is to keep it as small as you can.

yeah, think I would stay away from the gun look..LOL I think you should be able to recreate a killer backpack setup. Let me know what you come up with. If I hear of a good Gimbal bag I will let you know.
Just bought mine and see nothing to practice - stabilizer works quite easy! :) Just learn 2 buttons: switch "pan mode/full lock" and front button (behind handle) to "follow" modes. Everything else is just camera controls.
Hi, So if I use the Gimbal with my phone camera software it's fine, but if I use the app that comes with the Gimbal it jitters whenever I pan left or right. I might just use the camera software, just means the record button won't work on the Gimbal but other than that it keeps it steady. Unless you know of a fix?
