Fly fishing clear Alabama creeks

- This footage is from a couple of trips I took earlier this week. In the first day I was at Little River National Preserve and for the second day I was in a local creek almost in my back yard. Both locations are great for fly fishing and I’m sure I’ll be back to them soon!
Lucky Alabama has rocky creeks. Over here in mississippi our water is dirt brown and full of snakes.

Do you let line out when casting or just build up momentum on the false cast
Little bit of both, sometimes I false cast just move the fly to a new spot. But I do false cast to get a little momentum then shoot the line out for a longer cast. When there is a very small target area I let little increments of line out each false cast to get the perfect distance
