Love love love!!! Just love your random creek/roadside ditch creek fishing!!! I don’t do very well in big waters, but manage to find fish in little creeks like you showcase. May He continue to bless you more and more, with your creek fishing adventures!
Streams around here have made deep, steep-banked, brush-choked channels through the deep sediments of the valley. It is extremely difficult to find access points, even at bridges. But we persevere and eventually we find places where we can present our lures or baits in front of hungry fish and have a wonderful experience! It's the 'eventually' that is the problem. That's why you're here, showing us how to do more catching, less wishing! "Ya cain't ketch a t'ing if'n yer line ain't wet!" --1963, my Grampa Earl, who taught me how.
...If I diin't know better, I'd be thinkin' that at about the 3 minute mark, you were fishin' by a stand of that "Wacky Tobbacky" stuff...LOL...Great video by the way...
John, Just goes to show you that even in an ugly, urban type industrial park environment such as this place, you can find GOD's Amazing wonders of wildlife in streams such as this and if you are really patient, enjoy them as HE meant for you to do. That was 58 minutes of pure fun for you and you have to admit, it's those unexpected moments where you find something like this, that makes you appreciate his handiwork that much more. It's just fascinating to know that he makes these "nuggets" of fun like this for everyone to enjoy. Thanks for posting this one, I really enjoyed this one in particular.
these are the best videos.......Random location, no expectations and lots of fish caught......I love this stuff. God Bless and Go KATS!!!!!!!! Thanks again John for a great adventure
Pretty cool how you easterners can drive 2 hours and go through 4 different states even if it all looks the same lol. I drive 6-8 hours and I’m still in Texas lol. Although the landscape changes a lot here. Drive 6-8 hours east to west here and it goes from humid pine forest to sparse oak woods to sand and grass to desert. Then north to south it goes from high desert plains to the hills of central texas to the sandy tropical beaches of south Padre Island.
Welcome to Alabama sir glad to have you here. I wish I could meet up with you and bring you to the lake i live on and let you do some fishing on it. And plus they are alot of places like that road side spots all around here to. But good luck and sir i want you to know i appreciate everything you do it means alot and plus I have learned so much from you and have started more creek fishing so thanks. Keep up the awesome work.
I do a lot ditch fishing here in florida where I live. Yesterday I caught 12 bass, bullseye oscars, and tarpon all from the same little creek. Good luck and have fun.
John, another great creek/ditch fishing adventure my friend! That largemouth bass was definitely a healthy fish. Have a great weekend and God bless! 🎣👊🏼🇺🇸
Just started watching your videos. I think it's absolutely awesome to see what can be caught where you would least expect it. Makes me wanna check out some of the creeks near me. Thanks for the videos!
Jon, that was a cool creek you fished in Alabama. It reminds me of some creeks l fished in Roberson county near Lumberton North Carolina in the south east part of the state. You should check out that part of North Carolina. It has some great fishing.Keep making these videos.l and several thousand can't wait for more creek fishing. adventures.
I think you are a great guy man you have really helped me. And I appreciate the Bible verses. I just need to keep fishing and keep helping. There's. Good work my dude.
Love your blog. I do the creek thing when possible. If you haven't fished the Parklands right out of Lou. Ky. you need to try Floyds Fork there. We have great smallies here.
Always love it no matter what John! I grew up in the southeastern corner of Al. and most rivers and creeks in the southern half is muddy more than not hence one of many reasons I have no interest in going back to that particular area! North Al. and TN. have WAY better creeks, rivers and lakes for fishing! Be interesting to see where you will be fishing in FL.as I lived in the panhandle for several years and fished Yellow river and Blackwater river which both are between Crestview and Milton....actually Blackwater is an excellent wade fishing river on the more northern half! Good luck!!
Daniel...what part of the Southeastern corner oa Alabama were you talking about that you grew up in? The reason I'm asking, I too grew up in Southeastern corner of Alabama in the 70s & early 80s...Gordon Alabama to be exact, went to Ashford High School thru 6th grade in 1981& now I'm living in Satsuma Alabama...about 20 miles north of Mobile.
There is a good place in tennessee called Maples Creek Lake and there is a creek leading off of the spillway and it is loaded with green sunfish and largemouth bass
i bought a lews closed face reel for the wife ,but i love that thing . smoothest closed face ive ever used. bought rod and reel combo for 40 dollars at a local bait shop here in kingstom.
Trevor H I was born and raised in southern Alabama and live in East Tennessee now where he does, I didn’t see anymore up here than I did down there and I fish 4-5 times a week in creeks and rivers and lakes , and stay in the woods constantly.
Jordon Pratt Lol I live In south Mississippi I can tell how he walks those creeks and banks where he lives there’s not nearly the amount of poisonous snakes up there, trust man just like Louisiana so many more snakes
I know you're from Tennessee, but your accent sounds like a lot of my friends from North West Alabama (Florence). Interesting how you can usually place people to where they're from, not just the state, but from what parts of the state...... I love your channel btw!
John u get me in trouble with my wife... She say I get on her nerves when we be riding and I pull over to little creeks on the way and fish 😂😂
