Drew Brees is the most accomplished quarterback we’ve ever seen. He was credited for his longevity for playing in the NFL for 20 seasons with the Chargers and Saints. His best years have to be when he was a member of the New Orleans Saints. He finished his career with 80,358 yards and 571 touchdowns with 752 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns. He is known for his passing ability, so he wasn’t no mobile quarterback. He stood 6 foot, 209 pounds as a pocket passer.
I don’t ever listen to anybody that tries saying a QB is too short to succeed because of how Drew Brees did it. Now we’re seeing more and more teams going for these shorter QBs because of the success Brees had in his career. Russell Wilson is well accomplished and while the verdict is still out on Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray, they still have potential to be great as well.

I give you 2011 He has great that year, that's the only year i would say he was great in.
Plus he underperformed tremendously in the playoffs.
Wasn't good vs the seahawks in 2013, game was closer because garbage time td with 10 seconds left
Didn't play well in Minneapolis miracle game
The missed call vs The Rams gets all of the blame, but that didn't lose them the game. The saints got the ball first in OT and Brees threw an interception.
Wasn't good & outplayed by Kirk in 2019
Horrible and the reason they lost vs the buccs.
Imo he was a bit of a stat padder & people over look his flaws and his performances by looking at the box score and his regular season stats. I don't think any team was ever scared of facing Drew Brees in the way they were scared to face Peyton (which is ironic because peyton also didn't have much playoff success for being an all time great) or Brady.
How is it stat padding? He HAD to throw that much because of how bad his defenses were.
@@agentorange1156 you’re crazy, drew was extremely precise and intelligent multiple db’s have stated how he would pick apart coverages. Just say you’re a hater. Not to mention he beat Brady and Peyton head to head so there’s no debate
@@DonnnationTV head to head literally doesn't matter. Tom and peyton don't play defense. If that's the case Rex Grossman beat Drew head to head
