It was a very poor game for the Canucks. It's not the loss that scares me, it's how completely the Canucks lost this game.
It should - and why you'll lose game 7. Vcr played their best game of the playoffs in game 5 (and my guess one of if not their best game of the year) and Oilers looked like the game 6 Canucks. Tell me what happened? Hint - a last minute goal was required to beat the Oilers - could've easily lost that game with a flukey Oiler goal. Oilers ARE the better team and have been whole series save for game 5. Good run for you guys though - but playoff experience DOES matter and your team doesn't have it (yet).
It's like they forgot that winning this takes all. It was like a regular season game. Start of season.

I was pretty down after game. I mean how can they play so well in game 5 and so poorly in game 6. Man this series has been great though. I guess Edmonton is probably thinking back to game 1 now too a bit when they were ahead 4-1 and if they had won that one the series would be over. Nope. I think it's like Tocchet said you have too flush this one out of your system and prepare for game 7. It's hard though. Winning game 7 in Vancouver should be awesome. Go Canucks Go.
Actually - Oilers could of won this four straight as game 3 we shat the bed with our goaltending as well. Other than game 5 - Oilers have been (not including goaltending) the best team though Canuck fans won't admit that. Just look at the advanced stats - all favour the Oilers. Ironically in game 6 though - expected goals for was 2.8 to 2.7 for Canucks. Nice melt down by big Z at end of game too - shows you where Canucks head space is. Love how Desharnais headlocked TWO Canucks - nice on big Z to punch out Kane while Kane was being held by linesman and couldn't fight back.
yr ACTUALLY talking Goaltending WHEN 1. the POWER PLAY had HUGE chance in 1st and ZERO and they only have 10 shots in 2 periods LOL WOW U BOYS are WAY OFF THE MARK!
A shamefully lacklustre effort for an elimination road game. Their shooting percentage was abysmal.
I don't even know what to say at this point except. Probly gonna be another 9 years before we get to round 2 again. At this rate . I might see a cup in next 5 reincarnations

Not one player on the Nucks really stood out. Oilers wanted it more...much more.
No need for Demko. The Canucks need offense and they have needed it all playoffs. Tonight was an awful effort. The PP was non existent

Oilers are not that much better than the Nucks. Nucks choked, they buckled under pressure. They have the ability though, they have shown that.
pass less / shoot more. Canucks gave that game away... FAIL

I'm not hearing all that Vanc hype and bragging. I thought Vancouver was the best team ever and that Edmonton would be swept. I thought "you guys can't beat our depth and defense with no goalie and no defense and only 2 decent players. I thought Vancouver was going to win another cup... uh, what, oh, really?.. Oh so you don't win a cup every second year in Vancouver.
