Franks take on this is bad. I would take this stance from a former player or a medical professional. Ray Ferraro had a much better take. Hard to take from a guy without that knowledge or experience. I have tendonites (different tendon), it 100% explains his skating and maybe his shooting. Not much sense in taking time of. You could give him 2 months off and there is no guarantee it heals.
He probably wasnt the most injured but he was probably injured the longest. If he says nothing it makes his linemates look worse. He had no good option.
How does Pettersson saying he played bad make his linemates look worse ? He is meant to be the driving force of his own line, not them
Pettersson's a douchebag who got paid and now doesn't care. We've seen it with Loui Eriksson and now we're seeing it again, but at a much higher price point. If he doesn't show some pride and play well next year, more people on this chat will turn on him, and VERY fast.

Well, I bet in their contracts (worth MILLIONS of dollars) that there ARE clauses that say, "Yes, you must participate in press availability X number of times per season", or how ever it's worded. Isn't there? The teams MUST make a certain number of players available for the press following games, etc. Isn't that the case? If so, then YES, Hronek DOES IN FACT "owe" US SOMETHING. Or he can go be a bricklayer, like Frank's dad.

I know this is an underrated opinion, but as a person who lives in Vancouver, I think Frank has a lot of solid points he just needs to improve on delivering his points

I’ve got no problem with Seravalli per se. Just the noise level around the Canucks - especially Pettersson - went way up during the playoffs, and Seravalli was part of it, and happy to be part of it. That’s media these days though. The practitioners are happy to fan the flames of whatever is going. The hotter it gets, the better they like it.

The reason Pettersson gets more of a pass is because we all need to believe he was hurt for him to be as terrible as he was in the second half of the season and playoffs. Tocchet and Allvin didn't think the injury was that bad.

I really like Frank Seravelli because he's not afraid to speak his mind. His Petterson questions are perfectly appropriate as far as I'm concerned. I think he just needs to learn how to play through injury better in the playoffs, there's nothing left field about him encountering such a learning curve in his first normal playoff run. There's probably a big mentally preparation component to that which he'll need to grasp
